I opted for the deluxe pedicure ($80) which didn't quite feel "deluxe" the massage was hard and fast (going through the process instead of giving an actual short massage for a $80 pedicure), there was no candle wax (I can't think of the proper name but you know what I mean) and I wear the same polish every time but I was given 2 coats and it shows my imperfections - I should've checked before I left but for $80 you know when it looks off so at least ask. All in all, I would absolutely go back for hands but not feet.

Today I came in as I needed my nail repaired and was in a crunch so I had an appt. I was seen but it took some time as the clients prior was late and had 2 long slots but were late. She took me while having to push them afterwards. She still took the other clients and not have them reschedule. They are reasonable and if you express nice and respectfully your nail concern it is fixed right there. On the road.... no delay today.

I arrived at 4:30 pm and stated I wanted a fill-in. I waited approximately 40 minutes after being told someone would be with me shortly. After becoming a bit bothered by waiting, the manager noticed and asked me to go to #5. I was greeted and as the tech began to remove my polish, she advised I needed a new set. I explained to her I would go to my usual tech to have it done but at that moment I only wanted a "fill." After she clipped the sides (shown in picture) another customer comes in (possibly one of her "regulars), tech #5 leaves me to work on the customer's nails without as much as I'll be back, someone will take over..nothing! So now, I'm annoyed. I sat another 10 minutes and glared into the eyes of the manager/owner. The piercing look I gave him had to have reached the core of his inner being for he quickly said, "he's getting ready to help you!" Tech #6 was finishing up the client beside me nails. He subsequently got up, looked at my nails and mumbled something in his language to my original tech (#5). If I wasn't fuming before, this was surely about to make me lose every ounce of religion I had. Tech #6 puts the clear coat on the client's nails and just when I think he's sliding over to me, he walks away to do a pedicure on said client! WHAT IN THE WHOLE HELL WAS GOING ON!! I had to be on an episode of PUNK'D and Ashton Kutcher was about to jump out from somewhere with cameras because this was insane! I'm sure if you are still reading my post, you are thinking I left! Sighhh! I didn't! I literally sat there 10 MORE MINUTES. When I glanced at the clock, it was now 6pm. As I angrily got up, tech #5 yells, "he coming now, he finished!" I responded "I won't be here!" As I passed the owner on my left, with clenched lips I said, "it's after 6pm, I've been here well over an hour!" Readers, I was waiting for him to tell me I owed money. #boiling Soooo, I leave with my nails looking worse from when I arrived, time I could not make up, and overall, frustrated.... Read my next post for it has a happy ending at another location. OAN: I was told by someone close that this seems to be the new thing with Asian nail salons. If you are not a regular customer, they will purposely start your nails and then work on other customers with the belief that you as the "non regular" will not leave because your nails are not complete! I was greeted and in less than 5 minutes I was sitting in front of Lisa. Lisa was bubby, full of conversation, and smiles. When the pandemic happened I decided to take a break from my usual long acrylic nails and do the natural route. Katrina is friendly (without being a pushover), personable, and down to earth. Also her playlists rock! Any vision I have she definitely knocks it out of the park! She DOES NOT duplicate or copy someone else's work, however she will use key elements and make it her own. Some may say she is pricey and that's ok. However you get what you pay for. Her work and the quality speaks for itself, my nails last a month! No peeling or lifting of polish or paint. I can not say that about any other nail tech I've ever used. She takes her time and I never feel rushed. Her sanitary standards and hygiene practices during this time have definitely been more than sufficient. My only complaint is that I wish she did pedi's. :-)

I started to give up; however, I am so glad I didn't because that level of exclusivity is exactly what you want during a full on pandemic. Let me explain. Appointments are selectively scheduled to ensure there are no more than a few people in the salon at once. When you arrive to get nails done, it's quite possible that you may have a room to yourself :) and everything from the client services to the ambiance is exceptional. COVID practices: when you arrive (appointments only), they open the door for you, check your temperature, ask you to sanitize your hands, and give you a sanitizing wipe your clean your phone (as you'll be touching it often). They offer you a bottle of water or a glass of champagne, wine, or mimosa. Yasssss! Now, you will immediately be taken into another, fun, light, vacation-like experience by the detailed decór. It's so beautiful the way the owners put so much love and attention into curating each part of your experience. You feel like this moment was crafted JUST for you. The nail specialist that I worked with, Kyra (pronounces KI-Ra) was full of light, love, energy, and offered therapeutic vibes. She really took her time to get to know me and understand more than what I wanted for nails, but how my nail journey complimented my life. I felt a true caring about who I was as a person. Although we take lightly our cosmetic experiences, they are actually a firm of therapy and self-care. Thank you Kyra.
