When the pandemic happened I decided to take a break from my usual long acrylic nails and do the natural route. Katrina is friendly (without being a pushover), personable, and down to earth. Also her playlists rock! Any vision I have she definitely knocks it out of the park! She DOES NOT duplicate or copy someone else's work, however she will use key elements and make it her own. Some may say she is pricey and that's ok. However you get what you pay for. Her work and the quality speaks for itself, my nails last a month! No peeling or lifting of polish or paint. I can not say that about any other nail tech I've ever used. She takes her time and I never feel rushed. Her sanitary standards and hygiene practices during this time have definitely been more than sufficient. My only complaint is that I wish she did pedi's. :-)

I didn't get what I wanted nor is it worth the amount I paid. There is different nail techs and right now maybe two main ones ... I'm unsure but Jasmine was my Nail tech. She was a nice girl but did a rushed job. I explained to her how my boyfriend would be coming home soon and how he really liked French tips and even showed her pictures of HER work that he and I liked. It started off well but I think at some point she was behind on schedule (not my fault ) and started to rush. Apparently whatever style or design you want only applies to 1 or 2 nails. Because she asked me how many French tips I wanted per hand 1 or 2 (I was confused) so theoretically all other nails would be blank. Every picture I showed her had a design on each finger so in my mind I assume that she had other plans for my other nails but I was wrong. After the two French tips she wanted to put a clear coat on the rest. I requested a solid nail because two French tips weren't going to do it. My polish has bubbles and it's not even.... so Its areas you can see the brushstrokes or the acrylic underneath because it's thin. I brought it to her attention and she said the condition of the polish was because I took my hand out of the light ( again confused because I don't recall removing my nails prematurely) but okay. The nails are filed uneven... some go straight across and some have like a C shape curve at the top. Understanding that the filing wouldn't be absolutely perfect but the differences are very noticeable. Some nails look like I took a clipper and took a chunk out of the end. I asked her to file them straight across to even it out and she said I was requesting a C shape .... I wasn't I legit wanted my nails flat and to look the same. I had high hopes but they didn't get fulfilled and she really didn't care if I liked or not it was okay on to the next client .... Well that's what I sensed like I said she seemed like a nice person just feel time got ahead of her. I was called an hour before my appointment asking could I come 30 minutes later. So it's not as if I was late for my appointment & she had to rush. I came at the time that they requested. Waste of my Saturday morning and money because I will more than likely take them off and get them redone at my local salon. Outside of that the salon is pretty, it seems to be clean. Majority of the staff and clients wear a mask and there's plenty of parking. Can't speak on any other service I got a full set. You book online ... I doubt I will return.

Sent a text and she never responded. I went there and was told she was not available. I went to another nail spa to take it off because the pain was unbearable. Never got an apology. No reply. On Sunday May 31st, I had an appointment and was scheduled to do my hands and feet. Told the technician Carolina (Table 3) i wanted to dissolve my nails and get a fresh set of nails so it doesn't look tacky. She insisted it was ok like she was in a hurry and went ahead to refill. I told her it wasn't long enough and it would affect my natural nails. She didn't listen to my request and ended up cutting and filling off my natural nails. I complained that i had told her several times. I was never someone that fixed nails so my natural nails meant a lot to me. She started acting rude like she wasn't going to finish my nails. I remained calm, called my sister who does nails who told her how to fix it, so i allowed her to finish. She then refused to do my feet and told me i had to reschedule because she had somewhere to be after i had previously scheduled an appointment and i was also on time. When my nails grew out, i sent a text to inform her that i would like to schedule an appointment. Her response after several messages " I'm sorry i won't be able to attend to you anymore that day i had problems at work and i was suspended for 1 week the colleagues told the boss everything'' I later found out that she lied about being suspended and that was her was to rudely tell me i was no longer welcome. I called to talk to the owner and went in person and the owner also told me that she said she wasn't comfortable doing my nails. My thought, it wasn't a free service, i paid and tipped. It is ok for your staff to be rude and disrespectful to a client , lied about getting suspended and all she could tell me was directions to another place. This establishment has no respect for clients and has shown that if you have an issue it would not be addressed. You wonder why some people go ahead to sue places like this since they clearly lack accountability. She ultimately damaged my nails and i let it go. Respect is not offered here and it shows how people are being treated.

Mind you, no appointments required. At least, it used to be, and the sign still says it. I decided to just get the waxing so I could get to my meeting. After the service, I was looking for my cash that I thought was in the pocketbook. Then I remembered that I changed bags to match my shoes. But, while I was looking, the tech put her hand in my bag, and said, "Here is some.", as she grabbed a $5 bill. I was shocked and mortified! After I let her know how close she came to being a "Swiffer", I walked to the front to to pay with TAP. Then here she goes again; she tried to take my card out of my hand, and claim she had to swipe it in their machine, though Tap was offered as a form of payment. Needless to say, I had enough, and told her completely off!!!!! The Manager was sitting there staring out the window; absolutely not intervening. I paid just because I was being treated as if I was trying to skip out for a flipping wax; when I could have covered every customer in there!!! Don't trust them or their card payment system. Thank God for grace and mercy so that I can return it to others. Because I was moments from falling back to a time when I would have taken that ride down the fallsway, 10 toes down!!!!

I've been seeing her exclusively all year and she never ever disappoints. I give her a color or theme, and I allow her freedom to do whatever she wants because she's an artist! I get compliments every time I get a new set. The staff is generally friendly and welcoming. Sometimes there are customers who are loud (rare) so it would be nice to see them get checked (maybe a policy to limit use of personal devices while being service would help?) because one person can throw the entire vibe off. Appointments are selectively scheduled to ensure there are no more than a few people in the salon at once. When you arrive to get nails done, it's quite possible that you may have a room to yourself :) and everything from the client services to the ambiance is exceptional. COVID practices: when you arrive (appointments only), they open the door for you, check your temperature, ask you to sanitize your hands, and give you a sanitizing wipe your clean your phone (as you'll be touching it often). They offer you a bottle of water or a glass of champagne, wine, or mimosa. Yasssss! Now, you will immediately be taken into another, fun, light, vacation-like experience by the detailed decór. It's so beautiful the way the owners put so much love and attention into curating each part of your experience. You feel like this moment was crafted JUST for you. The nail specialist that I worked with, Kyra (pronounces KI-Ra) was full of light, love, energy, and offered therapeutic vibes. She really took her time to get to know me and understand more than what I wanted for nails, but how my nail journey complimented my life. I felt a true caring about who I was as a person. I had a very poor experience at this nail salon today. I initially selected a gel color, but the…read moreshade applied did not match the number on the sample at all--it was clearly purple, whereas I had chosen a light pink. When I asked the technician to correct it, she tried to convince me to keep the incorrect color until I insisted otherwise. Even then, instead of removing the purple polish, she carelessly applied the new color over it. When I asked her to properly remove the incorrect polish, she began speaking about me to another technician in her native language, which made me uncomfortable. At checkout, I was charged for a higher-tier pedicure despite repeatedly stating that I only wanted the basic service. They refused to correct the charge, leaving me feeling pressured to pay just to leave the situation. There was also a customer waiting in a chair behind me who witnessed the situation and told me that she had witnessed other customers having issues with this specific nail tech on other occasions as well. Not to mention, the polish was smudged when she was finished and she did not offer for me to sit and dry my nails. Afterward, I called the salon to speak with a manager, but the receptionist refused to transfer me. Instead, he claimed I had signed a receipt--which I did not--and referenced security cameras in a way that felt threatening. He said I could return in person to have the charge corrected, but I explained I was not comfortable going back and asked for the issue to be resolved over the phone. He refused and ultimately hung up on me. Based on this experience, I would not recommend this business.
