This local shop in Palmdale is called Cycle gear. Any Needs you have for motorcycles whether it's…read moremotor or electric they will find you a solution. There are more accessories, helmets, clothing, jackets, vests, and gloves in one place than I I've ever seen before. They have enough knowledge about helmets to make sure you're most valuable asset stays where it belongs, on your shoulders. All kinds of different paint jobs special linings, and carbon fiber set ups will have you filled with joy for all the options that are available. Don't forget to ask them for their special limited releases, and their price cuts which they have from time to time. Jedidiah and Eric were an absolute joy to work with. They took good care of me and answered all of my questions, even though they knew that I would not be purchasing anything today. If I ever start riding, I will definitely come and ask for them by name and you should do the same. I can guarantee you if they don't have an answer for one of your questions they will go and find it and get back to you as soon as possible. That's just how they roll.

First these reviews are bogus as they apply to the former location over a period of years. They've…read moreonly just moved to the Palmdale location several months ago so how can they have reviews older than several months? The photos are all of the old location as well. Some of the names mentioned in the reviews here don't even work for this location. Hmmmm sounds like they're playing games. Second my husband was a long term customer of theirs but the recent service experience ended the relationship permanently. They damaged his bike and lied about it but offered to repaint the damaged part. Their ridiculous explanation was the cowbell damaged the lower fork? That's physically impossible. When my husband advised he would file a warranty claim with HD Corporate they strongly advised against it. Why, because they knew they damaged the bike. They failed to perform a comprehensive 20,000 mile service per the manufacturer's recommendations, on a 2024 bike purchased from them. This was one of the reasons he brought the bike to them. They had the bike for a month and did nothing but offer excuses (on a new 2024 model which he purchased from them.) He had to run interference with their team to be sure they did the work. They have no customer service acumen since Gary retired. They have insufficiently skilled, experienced technicians. They lowballed him by $13,000 on a trade in offer on his 2024 Street Glide in an effort to sell him another used bike on the floor. I mean seriously. They made him a trade in offer, he declined, they went to the back room, returned shortly and suddenly came up with 13k more as their offer. They treat customers like fools and don't respect them. Upon completion of the work they did not provide a customer service survey. Upon calling Corporate my husband made certain to complete one and filed a complaint reciting the list of problems. Don't trust them for new sales, used bike sales or ANY mechanical work. Run don't walk to Santa Clarita Harley Davidson.

He's taken care of all of the preventative maintenance and all of my off script requests. Not only on my Zero...but also on my Indian... He's got top notch skill and cares about the details. AND he takes the time to talk and explain what and why...never seems rushed. So chill... I would trust him with ANY issue on ANY bike. I would 100% recommend Tyler at Motowerkz to anyone!

I've known Tyler from Hollywood Electrics days and followed him to two other locations to work on…read moremy bike. In the last couple of months, the battery cells on my Zero motorcycle became too unbalanced and Tyler said he had a healthy (used) battery he was looking to sell. The front wheel of my Zero had also been making noises, so I refrained from riding it for several months while I proactively saved pennies on the dollar to afford to replace the battery and fix the front wheel. I do not own any other vehicle except this motorcycle. I finally took it in to Tyler and explicitly told him to look at the front wheel. He said it was "probably just age". I paid $400 up front so he could buy a part to retrofit the used battery to my bike model and an additional $2300 for the battery & labor. While picking up the bike, he made no mention of the front wheel. Exactly two weeks later with minimal rides, the front wheel gave out while on the freeway. Turns out the bearings needed to be replaced and had Tyler looked closely at the front wheel instead of just a standard test ride (which would have been done regardless), the problem would have been resolved before it got worse. In fact, he tried to justify his expertise by stating that I had only requested a bearings replacement on the rear wheel several months before. The front wheel got severely damaged from worn out bearings and front wheels are not available except on the used market. Luckily I did not get hurt. I'm out $2700 and my bike is effectively only good for parts or the scrapyard. While Tyler had allowed my bike to stay at his shop awaiting a potential replacement wheel, he would have charged $200 to transport it back to me, in addition to the $160 I paid AAA to tow it to him, so I'd be out an additional $360, over $3000 total. I trusted Tyler's expertise and now I have no motorcycle. He's been reliable in the past but this negligence & lack of properly diagnosing the issue was not only disappointing but he has shown zero accountability and would not recommend him or Motor Werks.
