I first took my sister's car to Jerry on a friend's recommendation. This was before I owned a vehicle of my own, and the car I was borrowing broke down. He completed the repairs quickly and for a very affordable price. Not only that but he explained what need to happen and what was optional, as well as what the results of not doing something would be. When I bought my first car from a private party I took it to Jerry to have it inspected. He did a very through and honest assessment and I ended up with a reliable used car that has served me well. I have been taking it to him for everything I can't do myself ever since. I always know I am getting good work for a good price and they always keep me updated on what is going on with my car, if the estimate is still good, all of that. They are also willing to work with my crazy schedule and needs as I commuted over 60 miles (one way!) to work and school around car repairs and such. I have lived here for 4 years and since I didn't know any reliable companies to have our cars repaired I would take them to Nissan, Honda and Chevrolet and they either couldn't fix the vehicles and it would cost and arm and a leg. Well was talking with someone and cars just happened to come up and she told me she had a very reliable person and the company was called L and S Automotive. So I read all info on line seemed all good. I have a Nissan truck that just started causing trouble be no one could figure out the problem and Nissan had my vehicle twice for a total of 3 weeks they found absolutely nothing. But wasted to full tanks of gas. Took it to L and S automotive and within 3 days he diagnosed the problem with a little research. Two days later found the other problem. The vehicle is running great. I will only go to this company he is honest and extremely nice and keeps you up and how things are progressing. Gave 5 stars would have given 10. Had my truck towed here from California City while I was out of town. I informed Jerry of the issues my truck was having and he said he'd take care of it. 3 days later he called me to tell me it was ready. When I arrived at the shop to pick it up, I paid, we talked about some future plans for the truck and he said he had some people who could do the work I was trying to get done. I'm new to the area so need some hookups on truck stuff and Jerry was more than helpful. Great service. They try to get your vehicle back to you as quick as possible while providing great work. I've been taking my cars here for a few years now and have always been happy with the results. Great prices for the work, friendly, answers all your questions. They let you know what's going on and what they are going to do to fix the problem and keep you updated. If you need any other vehicle service they don't provide there then they have businesses they to refer you to that also do great work. Jerry maintains all my vehicles. He does a great job and his prices are excellent. I've had him do major tune ups on a 2002 Explorer, 2005 Saturn and a 1998 Sebring. I did a "do it yourself" job on my 2005 Saturn and screwed it up. Not too many mechanics will take a DIY disaster, but Jerry took my Saturn and fixed my mistake and only charged me $100 for his labor. This is the best mechanic in the A.V. I trust him with all my family vehicles and have gone to him for at least 5 years now. My daughter is also a faithful customer. He is competent, fair and honest (hard to find in a mechanic shop these days). He won't tell you you need something done if you don't.
