PLEASE READ - Important to you as a customer!!!! **If you complain to them about service, they will cut you off. ** I truly wanted to give this business an opportunity, but they cannot seem to understand that we, as customers, just want help sometimes and want to receive good service for our money. That is all. However, the employees are not trained to work with the public. I recently went in as a subscription member and kept finding the same issue that the license plate is not being read at the gate. I kept having to pay again at the gate so I didn't hold everyone up behind me. Even when we are being told to "honk for service", no one shows up. I had asked one employee to explain why the gate then said that I maxed out my daily allowance which is only because once I was able to reverse and get into the other lane, did they open the original gate. As I began this discussion with a team member there, another employee jumped into the conversation and said it was my fault for moving into the other lane. I told him that I was already discussing this with the other gentleman and he rudely inserted himself. He was supposed to guide my car into the tire channel and instead he walked away like a child so I open my door and asked, "Are you going to guide me?", and he said no and walked into the office to just stand there. Instead, another employee came out to get me through the wash. I told him that I simply had to move since no one came out. He said that they can't hear from all the machine noise. Strangely, they have filed a police report for some reason which I don't get why since it was just a conversation on why the gate didn't come up and I had to get charged and me telling the person that interjected that I was not looking to speak to him since it was being handled already. There are so many car washes in the area that are happy to assist you with your onsite needs and this is absolutely not one of them. Give your money to someone that truly deserves it. Love the convenience of this car wash... however the quality isn't the best. Just like MANY Drive-they car wash ports, there's going to be that main issue. SCRATCHES. I knew what I was getting myself into when I came here for a second time. The first time here it was nice I went with their premium package with all the ads ons. However since I had a ceramic coat applied on my car, today I went with the basic wash and the under carriage wash (which in my opinion does clean the build up in the Illinois road conditions) Alright back to the point, I came to detail my car by hand, touch up with my own premium products and to only find MORE scratches on my paint. I wouldn't recommend this place and I won't be coming back due to the scratches I now have on my car.. I'm sure it's due to the brushes and the amount of dirty cars that come in. I'm not sure how often then change or clean their bristles on these automatic washes but I surely saw at least 10% new scratches on my car.. its a bummer but however I did ceramic sealed my paint again. Long run I don't recommend this place unless they do something about their brushes. I'm going to hand wash my car or take my car to a professional detailer which is fine. TERRIBLE Went to wash my car there today. Basic car wash used to be $3 and now is $5, that's 66% increase. After the wash, my car came with un-rinsed foamed soap and after 30 min or so, spots were everywhere. They increased prices and decreased wash ingredients at the same time .... not worth going there any more. Been going there for many years and like to support local business but this car wash REALLY went down the DRAIN.. They will not see any of my support any longer. read more

So I go threw the wash and the van in front of me bumper comes off. Nobody is watching what is going on in the tunnel. Get to the end of the wash tunnel and the bumper that fell off someone else's vehicle is stuck to mine. I signal to one of the workers to come see what had happened. He casually said "we are not responsible for that" and basically attempts to walk off. The dude didnt even care enough to remove the bumper and figure out where it came from. I ask to speak to whoever is in charge and he said he has to call the owner. I wait a bit then go to the area he went to place the call. Some other dude was standing there and said "what" in a way that I took as *what do you want* so I told him a few curse words and explained that regardless if they feel responsible or not, if they pay attention to what is going on in the tunnel, this would not be having this convo. The dude who I spoke with originally walks up and said that the owner was watching everything that is going on and if I dont stop talking to them like I was talking, that he was gone call the police. Lol.... OMG...... I admit I said a whole lot of curse words but at no point did I do anything that needed to be handled by the police. Had this dude just came and removed the bumper from my car and acted as he had some sort of concern. I would have been on my way. I understand things happen. I been going here for years. Never again. By the way. They did call the police. I went to the police station myself and the officer said they were just on their way to the car wash to make contact with me. Unbelievable! read more

The clerk at the hotel told us about this car wash. It was only maybe two-three mikes away. This has to be one of the nicest and cleanest car washes ever. And I've been to a lot of them. You drive right through, tho an attendant is there to assist if needed. The brushes, soaps and sprays were just right. The dryer seemed extra long because there were more air dryers than the norm. The outside of the building is cute. There's a stagecoach and red accents on the building. The grass is groomed nicely. I didn't think to take photos since I was driving. read more

$3 car wash? With free vacuum? It really doesn't get any better than this. My car had about 6-8 months of winter dirt and salt accumulated on it and definitely overdue for a wash. I honestly am not sure how it's lasted as long as it has without a wash. Finally I took it here for some spring cleaning. I had passed by earlier on a Saturday mid-day and there were lines galore, waited until later in the late afternoon/early evening and the lines were much shorter. I read the review about the guy pushing the cars in like back to back and kind of tried to space myself out from the car in front of me. The car wash is quick, easy, and they have plenty of vacuums. Getting out of the vacuum area was a little messy as you're exiting the same way the cars come in after the wash, but since there weren't that many cars at the time it wasn't bad. I can only imagine what it's like when it's busy... If you need a cheap, quick wash and the line isn't long I'd definitely take my car here to wash. read more

We come here very often but have learned the owners are scammers. Even the supervisor admits it. They said they run sales but still charge full price and say they aren't allowed to do refunds( even though they've refunded us money on the past) we asked for our money back and they tell us they can't give money money back or it comes out of their pockets. When asked for the owners bam or number we were just told, "the owner comes once a month but won't return the money) even though according to the supervisor the owner is aware of this issue. This is a pretty sincerely underestimated car wash location. Vacuums on site are a nice addition, but the real seller here is that you get a 2 for 1. Buy a wash, get a wash within a week. The few places I see that type of an offer are mostly places like Delta Sonic and less a random place I ended up going like Super Express. Good value! read more

REVIEW TITLE: STINGY VACCUUMS .... I'm giving this car wash A1 star solely due to the management at this location! I have attended this car wash numerous times before and have been a faithful Patron. I proceeded to go to the car wash to vacuum my car first due to the fact most times the Stalls for the vacuums are completely over crowded so I figured let me go there first and then I will proceed to wash my car that way I can head directly out onto Belvidere Road which would be more convenient for me. Upon arriving at the car wash the vacuums were shut completely off. I approached the manager he stated because I did not wash my car first he wanted to shut off the vacuum. I informed him there are numerous times that I come here and get my car washed and never use their vacuums. But this is not unusual for me to vacuum and then wash my car because of the numerous cars again at this location. I will not be back I don't encourage you or anyone else to go there because they do not know how to treat their customers in a professional manner! read more

I have been a faithful patron of this car wash since their opening a couple years ago. I have never had a reason to go anywhere else as their pricing is great and the proximity to my home is even better. While I have been faithful my patience with their response to an issue I had today was unnerving. Drivers beware, if you're are not happy with the spacing between the vehicles going into the wash, that is your responsibility. During a busy lunch rush today the operator was packing cars in. During the wash the moron in front of me decided he would forgo the free dry by placing his foot on the break, shifting into drive, and thus jumping the track. In reaction I hit my break and came off the track with a Chevy Suburban behind my Camry. When I got done I went around to let the operator know what happened and encourage bigger spacing and I was introduced to the manager. The manager asked if there was a collision, couldn't understand how the driver in front of me braked yet still went forward, and shook my hand because their was no collision. I was also corrected that I should be the one spacing the cars, not the operator. The manager clearly was not hearing my request for the operator to be warned as he kept telling me to be aware of my spacing. That is great for the car in front me, but I can't guarantee he won't listen to my request with the car on my back bumper. I am not saying don't go bring your business to this wash, but just beware that they don't have the customers backs. I might start visiting the more expensive wash for a while where customer service is number 1 and covering their asses is less important. read more

Worst car wash you could ever go to. They were offering their deluxe car wash for $12.00 with an offer of buy one get one free. I asked an employee if there was a time limit for using the free one because the sign gave no indication of an expiration. The employee stated "no there is no time limit. Came back ten days later and the code given for the free wash was invalid because it expired after five days! Spoke to the manager there and was told he would not stand behind what their employee told me. I asked to have the owner call me and he never did. Quality of the wash there needs much to be desired. The brushes leave scratches all over the car and the tire shine winds up smearing all over the body and wheels. I would rate them no stars if I could. Stay away from this place unless you like having your car scratched and being lied to. Recommend going to Speedy Car Wash at 3056 Washington Street in Waukegan instead. read more

Gem on the edge of Waukegan. You pay by machine and the whole process is pretty fast. Free vacuums after your wash. A very clean and modern car wash. Great prices and great results. So let me start by saying that I've taken my car here twice before, and both times the wash was decent for the price. I would have previously rated this wash 4 stars based on my previous two experiences, as I had no issues. The basic package here is $6, and the medium package is $10, so it is relatively inexpensive. The free vacuum service is also nice although the vacuum I used didn't seem to have enough suction (you get what you pay for). However, I've been to three similar automatic car washes when I lived in Ohio, and they all provided a much better quality wash and friendlier attendant service for the same price as this car wash charges. Beware that the attendants at this car wash sometimes try to cram the vehicles close together on the conveyor belt - its ultimately your responsibility to ensure that your vehicle isn't too close to the vehicle in front. When I went here yesterday to wash off all the dirt and grime from highway driving, I noticed scratches on both side doors as well as on other parts of the car after the wash. I had my car washed two days ago when I was staying in Ohio and these specific scratches were not present after that previous car wash. Even when I checked the car this morning before I left back for Chicago, these scratches were not there. At the time, I suspected these scratches were from this car wash. In response to the business manager's comment, I did bring the vehicle back to this location the following day to have the scratches inspected. The manager insisted that the scratches were not caused by the car wash equipment. After talking with him, I do agree that it is possible that the scratches could have been caused by something else (maybe someone scratched my car when it was parked), but I still wasn't completely satisfied with the way the resolution process was handled. I do appreciate the manager's willingness to look at the scratches, and for this reason, I've updated my review and rating. read more
