I had been wanting to try Lick for a while and finally got around to it. I took my 1 year-old son and 16 year-old nephew. Employees were not overly friendly or helpful. They just kind of stared at us. They serve Hershey ice cream which is really good. My son got a chocolate chunk cookie and enjoyed it. My nephew and I liked our shakes. We ordered the pint size which was $13 each. The cookie was under $2. It's definitely a fun place to try at least once. I just wish the employees were more hospitable. read more

Absolutely love this ice cream parlor! The smell of fresh baked goodies slaps you in the face when you open the doors. Over 30 different flavors of ice cream with vegan and non-dairy options too! The waffle tacos (which is what I ordered), bubble bowls, and cones are freshly made in house. Toppings galore...it was hard to make decisions lol. Drove over a hour to go to this place. Had kids running the store not one adult. It was around 4 so about the time people would go out for ice cream hot out midday. Will we could not get any of the special ice cream because they claim to be cleaning. And it would take them over a hour to do it. Then they half way did the ice cream we were able to order. I came in with my sister and our kids, we ordered 5 milkshakes, I ordered my sons first, then my daughters. My sisters three milk shakes came out within 30 minutes. Followed by mine at a total of 55minutes. When I continued to ask about my milkshakes I did not get a viable reason why it should take that long, seeing as there are over six people on staff and one person using the milk shake stirrer. But only using one when there are six, a little common sense would go a long way with this. I will never come back and I would never recommend a place like this again to anyone. read more

This establishment is poorly ran. Every time I have a discount code I am never able to use it because of the bogus excuse the manager is the only person to give the discount. I normally still make the purchase but today it is the principle! I am sick of businesses trying to get customers inside by emailing you coupons that they will not honor. My 1st visit to this location and other than a friendly welcome and an original cup of butter pecan ice cream, the management/owner needs a little training for situations that the customer (myself) is saying is not right. I asked for peach cobbler with vanilla ice cream and got apple cobbler. I tried showing them that it was apple (white chunks), but the manager/owner was adamant that it was peach. She advised the staff to give her (me) what she wants. I has already paid for one item & had to take a safe choice. Overall the young staff is pleasant, but mistakes happen and it's ok if an apology can be given and providing optimal service to your customers. My daughter, son & her best friend came there to satisfy an ice cream craving because they heard LICK was the best... lol. Well my daughter asks if a particular milkshake had nuts in it and was told no. However when she received the shake she noticed there were nuts on in her shake. Honest mistake with an easy fix in which the young lady was WILLING to give her another shake w/o nuts since it was after all A MISTAKE! Well when my daughter disclosed that, to whom she thought was the manager (turned out to be the owner), the issue was resolved. She was quickly denied the corrected mistake of getting a shake without NUTS. My daughter even told the owner that she was allergic to nuts and the owner replied the only way you get another shake is to pay!! So my daughter left angry, discouraged and w/o her $12 MILKSHAKE! Now I know times are hard, but you can't possibly think that not honoring correcting a mistake on your behalf is positive Karma! I pray that grace is given unlike you my daughter in a situation that is not her fault. Prayers to your business for overflow.
