Ooh. Now this is some seriously good yogurt. I would have given them 5 stars if they had fresh fruit. Unfortunately, all they had was fruit in a syrupy consistency. After a delightful Japanese meal at Yui Marlu (see review!), we craved some fro-yo. There are six flavors: Hershey's Chocolate, Reese's Peanut Butter (yes both branded!), Strawberry Kiwi, Tart, Raspberry, and Country Vanilla. The tart wasn't tart enough for me, so I went all out fatty and got the chocolate and peanut butter. Without fresh strawberries, I threw some hot fudge on that baby and called it a day. $2.80. Good Deal! The consistency of this yogurt is what made it better than the rest of the competition. It wasn't runny, or drippy. It was creamy, and barely melted the 20 minute drive home in my hands. The flavor was right as well, instead of tasting like chemicals, it actually tasted like the flavor it was supposed to taste like without the icky aftertaste. I`ve never been to any other fro yo shops but this one has plenty to choose from so it should cure any sweet tooth craving. They have 6 flavors of soft serve available and endless toppings which include chocolate candies, hard candies, cereal bits, mochi, boba plus a variety of sauces to top them off....O and don`t forget the cherry. It is on the pricey side, especially if you go for the big cup (price is figured by weight of cup). You can get a punch card and your 10th cup is free :) They have 4 seats inside and 2 small tables outside but the place has never been super busy during any of our visits. I have not experienced bad customer service as other yelpers have but I also havent needed to ask questions...just fill your cup up, pay and enjoy. Very VERY small place. The people that work here are kind of rude, or they're really weird. One of them told me she hated her job working there & when we left to go outside, she went outside & started smoking WHILE there were customers around. The yogurt machines are VERY slow & they have weird flavors together. Some of the crumbles are also pretty hard to get out of the containers. The yogurt was alright, but nothing special. read more

Excellent neighborhood yogurt place under new ownership. The new owners will honor old punch cards until Sept. 15, which I think is more than fair. I had the coffee and chocolate swirled, delicious! Unfortunately this place just changed owners and morale amongst the staff has dropped severely, causing many to leave- the new owner suspects everyone of stealing from her and micromanages them to death. To be fair, the business hours posted on Yelp says open til 11, and the hours posted on the door might say 10, I'm not sure. But when you see a car pull up at 10 just to come to your place, you don't stop playing on your phone to get up and turn off the Open sign in their faces, then avert your eyes until they leave. We WERE excited to try this place but were lucky to instead find Mix-It Yogurt Lounge on Madison and Kenneth, which had nice owners, great selection of yogurt and toppings, and was starting to close early but let us in and turned on the machines! *End rant* I will probably come back and reevaluate later. I hate to leave a one-star review on any business, especially one I've frequented for quite awhile. My past reviews show that I am more of a praiser than a complainer, as I typically just don't return when I'm unsatisfied with a place. That being said, I have been sitting on my hands waiting to write this review until i could decide exactly what I have to say about this little shop. Lickity gets my one star after the change of ownership that took place a little over a month ago. Immediately after the switch, there were some major bumps in the road - Missing the majority of their toppings was bad enough, but one night there was only one flavor of yogurt in stock(Green Apple Somethingorother, of all things), and another the credit card system was unusable(I got the impression it wasn't the first time, either). I am completely sympathetic to the fact that there are bound to be snags when a business changes hands, but this was some craziness! Other reviewers have also mentioned the discontinued punch cards, which seems pretty ridiculous. If you can't afford to give away a free yogurt when someone has spent money on ten, you probably want to consider the viability of your business. The nearly complete overhaul of the staff is another thing worth mentioning, as other reviewers have pointed out. First morale was lowered beyond repair, and then almost all of them were gone. Just like that. I'm not sure what went down (though if other reviewers are right, I imagine it was a mixture of firing and quitting), but I am certainly sad to see almost all of them disappear. They were a fun, friendly bunch - And a huge part of what kept me coming here in the first place. I cannot pretend that the decor was ever worth getting excited over, but the stylistic changes that have been happening are downright painful. Literally, the first time I walked into the place after the new paint job my eyes felt like they were being assaulted. Bright pink and yellow walls! I wish I could say it got better after some adjustment, but that just wasn't the case. Suddenly there is an abundance of these tacky fake flowers and plants everywhere(plus one lonely living plant). The hot pink dry erase boards above the yogurt machines are unclear and I would imagine difficult for some people to read, since the owner seems to think that writing vertically is a cute way to label things. The largest and easiest label to read is the one written for the swirl, which seems entirely unnecessary. Don't we all have a general idea of how these froyo machines work at this point? The middle lever swirls. I don't need a label for that as much as I do for the actual flavors. Ultimately I can see what the new management is trying to accomplish with this overhaul, but it's just not working. The only true improvement I've noticed is the arrangement of the wall of toppings, which seems to be much better organized than it once was. One small victory among the chaos! At the end of the day, as far as the actual product is concerned, it's froyo. I can get froyo pretty much anywhere at this point. Lickity primarily had my vote because of the staff I came to enjoy and a very relaxed, albeit not exceptionally interesting atmosphere. These days if I go in I just feel like I'm walking in someones pink and yellow sugar coated nightmare, and that just doesn't interest me at all. At this point, I think it's time to call it quits on Lickity and check out the place that opened up a while back around the corner from where I live. Too bad, Lickity, we had a good run! read more

Sprinkles were stale as were malted milk balls. Also. Overpriced with limited selection.

This place is very kid friendly and PINK. However it is a little crowded and there is almost no where to sit. Also all of the flavors they had available I had seen before . My biggest complaint would be that there weren't enough to choose from. That is why I give this place 3 stars :/ read more

We recently had my daughter's 8th birthday party at Lickity Split. Their new Jungle Room addition is AWESOME!!! Nature's Critters (Lisa) was excellent! All of the kids had a great time, the prices are perfect and all of the little extras that we got were so neat. Lisa and Emily do a great job and I'm sure the word will be getting around very quickly about their great new partnership. This place is right down the street for my house, and I deeply love froyo, so I go here a lot. This place has a nice atmosphere with good music, and the person working the register is always friendly. The quality of the yogurt here is wonderful. They rotate flavors fairly often, and the flavors themselves are always spot on and delicious. My only small gripe with this place is the toppings. There is a fairly good selection, but they are severely lacking in the fruit department. They often have fruity flavors of yogurt, and I would love to have a selection of fresh fruit to put on top of it. They do TECHNICALLY have some fruit toppings, but it is not fresh fruit, it looks mushy and old as if it came out of a jar. Ick! If they got some fresh fruit this would be my favorite yogurt place. read more

I LOVE THIS PLACE! More toppings than I've seen anywhere else, including Captain Crunch cereal (mandatory cuz it doesn't get soggy), mini Reese's pieces, sprinkles, cookie dough, etc. Sauces include marshmallow, berry, hot fudge & chocolate hard shell too! Their french vanilla tastes just like ice cream! Reasonably priced. Owner was dressed kind of like a doll (cute not creepy) & gave me a discount punch card. The building's backed off of Madison behind another building, so use the strip mall's driveway on Dewey (then it'll be on your right at the far end). For a hole-in-the-wall yogurt shop this place really delivers! There's an excellent array of toppings, consistently shifting flavors as well as classic mainstays, frozen fruit, friendly service, and a clean atmosphere. Clean to the point that it looks a little like a hospital hallway given the fluorescent overhead lights, white counter tops with steel hardware, vinyl tile, bare walls, and a near lack of seating...one of my few complaints. At times I do go to other yogurt places - Yogurt Monkey, TCBY, and Big Spoon, to name a few. This place is conveniently close, though, and just feels inexplicably warm. Great selection for a small business. I'm glad this place has stayed open as long as it has and I hope it remains here forever. When I had my wisdom teeth removed this is the first place I went when I was coherent enough to actually fill a cup with soft-serve yogurt. That speaks volumes. read more

I just moved here from the Bay, and if anyone is familiar with Yummi Yogurt down there, this place is as good as Yummi! 6 flavors, which rotate. They have lots of liquid toppings, including PEANUT BUTTER! Marshmallow sauce, hot fudge, sugar free/fat free hot fudge which is awesome, hard shell chocolate, etc. I loved it! So I go to this wonderfu pink yogurt place. And I went with my family and son, and none of us were greeted or even spoken to at all. The lady has no customer or people skills. While the yogurt was good the options are limited. There was only 6 flavors and none of them were sugar or fat free. I also thought the lady behind the counter was very rude. My daughter excitedly ran up to the wall of toppings and the lady at the counter freaked out thinking that I was going to let her put her hands in the toppings. You would think a frozen yogurt shop would be used to kids. Also, apparently they have a stamp card where you can earn a free yogurt. For some reason we weren't offered this but the people after us were. Basically good yogurt, bad customer service, and with so many yogurt shops around, why settle? read more

It was 10:20, the guy said they close at 10:30, but that he would be there for another half hour. He was extremely nice, accommodating, and was happy to serve us AFTER hours.
