After learning a little backstory on tuxes and suits from Justin and realizing that we wanted the guys to really be POPPIN, we went from black tuxes to a champagne color tux for my groom and full maroon tuxes for the groomsmen. Absolutely no regrets. Photos and videos all look amazing with them. I truly appreciate Justin taking the time to educate and even push us to move away from the norm and do something more exciting which in the end really fit us best. I believe the price for tux rentals are pretty similar at most of the shops in Honolulu, and since we have no real need to keep tuxes it's a great price at $250 per. After meeting Justin, I can guarantee you we will be back again.

Located on the corner of King Street and Smith Street, I parked in a loading zone which is free after 4pm. Inside, the store is filled with many gowns and even tuxedos! The variety colors and styles is overwhelming. I saw the arrows on the ground which help customers because a person could get lost in there! Service was friendly in the beginning, but cooled off in the end when I didn't like the dress that was suggested to me. I went in the dressing room, but didn't need help with the zipper. An hour fitting is about $1.50 for parking fees which are paid via credit card. They also provide shoe rentals for $20 if needed (we didn't opt for this but very reasonable pricing!). The husband/wife owners were gracious, warm and very friendly. Made both my father and brother feel at ease and comfortable. I would 100% come back again for formal needs.

This location is much smaller compared to the previous location in Kalihi. Still, you will find the nicest ladies happy to provide superior service. One can shop from the clothing in store OR choose the materials and style desired and have something created for you. This week when I picked up my dress I could see the ladies busy making dresses for the young ladies graduating from Iolani School. Soon it will be for Hawaii's festivities for May's lei day. Then there are proms and graduations... I was told that their off the hangar collections will probably not get fuller until June or July. I am looking forward to returning then! For men I'm not too sure. To get a better picture of what fabrics they have the sales lady took us to the fabric room. Oh my I was in heaven. From ceiling to floor, rows and rows of fabric in every color you can imagine. We were looking for a white/off white color fabric. The sales lady busted out all these rolls to choose from. Then we narrowed it down to the specific print we liked. And presto we got our fabric for the shirt. She even cut us a sample fabric to match the design and color with any other outfits.
