    Regina is the best!!!

Anyone feeling nervous or insecure about wedding dress shopping - this is the place for you! I am a plus size girlie, a size 20, and I was so nervous that nothing would fit me. I tried a different bridal store first and nothing there was able to close all the way, making me feel so disheartened and not excited about something that should be one of the best experiences ever. So I figured, let's try Casablanca and see if they're better, and I'm SO happy I did. I worked with Regina who immediately was so warm, welcoming and attentive. I gave her my budget (2k) and my preferences, and she had me go into a large private changing area and brought me different dresses that fit what I asked for. Regina took pictures and videos for me since I went by myself, and she was the best. I was honestly spoiled for choice on her picks, the dresses were all so beautiful. I ended up narrowing it down between 3 dresses, then 2, and had additional help from Rowena and Gladys (the owner!) on choosing the best one. All three of them made me feel so beautiful and comfortable in my body. The prices were very reasonable, I ended up paying 2200 for the dress and veil altogether! When I go back again closer to the wedding date, I will pay for my alterations which they estimated would be 200-400. They also store your dress for free so you don't have to worry about it. :) Such a great service. I cannot recommend this place enough, and just wanted to say thank you again to the Casablanca team for making my dress dreams come true!!!!

Had a lovely time trying wedding dresses here. I ended up finding my dress somewhere else but had a great experience here. I did purchase gloves from Casablanca as they had the best options for accessories, after visiting a few other stores. The customer service reps here listened to my needs and wants and pulled the most beautiful and spot on dresses I was looking for. A little out of my price range but definitely worth the value!

I have been waiting to write this amazing review. When looking for my wedding dress I was so certain I knew what style I wanted. Casablanca was the 2nd bridal store I had gone to, to look for my wedding dress. I was assisted by Rowena (Manager) and another associate (sorry, I don't think I got her name). As soon as I got there I filled out a form regarding budget and style. As soon as I finished, they got to work and started pulling every dress in that certain style I was looking for. All the dresses looked amazing, Rowena brought out this stunning dress! Totally opposite of what I was looking for. I agreed to try it on, as she's the expert and I thought.. WHY NOT? as soon as I put it on... I could not stop staring at myself... I walked out into the show room a bit unsure b/c it's definitely out of my comfort zone... my bridesmaids and mother were speechless. I got compliments of how "beautiful" or "wow, now you look like a bride." I took one look into those mirror in the show room and I instantly fell in love! It was not what I was looking for but I knew this was my dress! Rowena even gave me the option to think about it, but I absolutely had nothing left to think about. I said "yes to the dress." Rowena has been so helpful throughout this whole process. If there's one thing I did not stress about the wedding... it was my dress. Rowena answered questions even after while I was waiting for my dress to come in. From long to short sleeves, veil recommendations, where to get bridal heels. The list goes on and on. As soon as I started the fitting process Rowena asked me questions and prepared me for things I haven't even thought of. Each time at the store was a wonderful experience. They also knew I'd be traveling with my dress and made sure to package it well and gave me instructions on what to do as soon as I got to my destination. I had no issues with traveling. Thank you so much to Casablanca and especially to Rowena for all your help. I am truly grateful for you! I felt absolutely beautiful on my wedding day and my husband definitely loved the dress choice and kept telling me how beautiful I looked all day. Thank you, thank you!

Love the bustle they did on this dress

I have been going to Gladys at Casablanca for over 30 years. I bought my own gown in 1994, then my oldest daughter bought her gown in 2022 and now my youngest daughter bought her gown this year, 2025. We loved every minute of dress shopping to alterations to finally wearing our gowns. Gladys and her staff treat us like family and always give the most professional and loving service. We all highly recommend Casablanca Bridal.

I had the absolute BEST experience here and my only regret was that I didn't schedule this shop first. The staff is wonderful and so kind from the second you walk in the door, until the second you leave. They're incredibly attentive and accommodating. Stacy, Erwin and Rowena were amazing and made it such a beautiful and fun experience. They'll take any vision you have and run with it. Their selection is HUGE and beautiful and their showroom is stunning. You'll not only walk out with a gorgeous dress, but the experience you deserve along with it too. I cannot recommend this shop enough. Seriously! I would give it more stars if I could. And I'm already excited to visit them again next month for my final fitting thank you Casablanca Bridal!

This review has been long overdue. My husband and I got married back in 2019, right before the pandemic, and I've wanted to thank Casablanca for their wonderful service for a long time. Rewind to January of 2019- I've worked with Casablanca for other events and knew that Gladys and Rowena provide friendly and amazing service. I made an appointment prior and brought my bridal party with me. Parking is tight but every time I've gone, it has never been a problem. I'm just terrible at parking When entering the location, you walk up a beautiful staircase and get a glimpse of some dresses in the back. The place is truly easy on the eyes and I always felt comfortable there. I was immediately greeted by someone in front and was checked in. I was very nervous, since this was my first wedding dress location. I'm also very indecisive, so I wasn't exactly sure what I wanted. I brought a few Pinterest pictures of dresses that I thought were for me. I showed it to Rowena, who kindly asked me what kind of dresses I was looking at and what my budget was. This was helpful because she could narrow choices down for me. (Perfect for an indecisive bride) After confirming the type of silhouette I wanted, she went to the back. The first dress she brought out surprised me at first. I didn't think I would like flowers on my dress and The color was not white white. I was open to just trying on any style at that moment. But after putting it on and walking to the floor to ceiling mirror that they have, I immediately fell in love. I couldn't believe it. I was in denial and thought, "Do I just think this dress is beautiful because it's the first one I'm trying on?" I decided to try other dresses to make sure and explore other locations. (Indecisive remember?) After exploring a few more options, the image of my very first dress always stuck in the back of my mind. It was after an unpleasant experience at another boutique, that I realized that Casablanca and that gorgeous first dress was the one for me. Gladys and Rowena were so great at keeping me informed and making sure my dress order came in on time. They were never pushy and always listened to my opinions. They even gave their professional expertise about certain aspects when I asked. I made sure to order it over 6 months in advance, so that it had enough time to come in. Then I got fitted twice. Once a month before and the second a week before. They also helped me to make sure that my dress would stay safe while traveling on a plane. (My wedding was on another island) On my wedding day, I received many compliments on my dress. I felt beautiful and very comfortable. No fashion emergency for this bride! Thank you Gladys and Rowena from Casablanca!

Amazing AMAZING experience at Casablanca..from day one, Sept 2020, to end, August 2021. The timeline is so long because I had to postpone my wedding because of the pandemic. But through it all, Casablanca was sooo helpful, loving and attentive! After my dress arrived, they kept it at their climate controlled facility because I told them I had to postpone because of our gathering regulations. Long story briefed, I was going to have my moms friend alter my dress. Went to Oahu, oh I live on Maui, to pick up my dress and Gladys (the owner) understood so she packed the dress for me to travel with perfectly (triple protection). My moms friend was gonna charge too much so did a day trip back to Oahu to have Casa fit me. Can I just say AMAZEMENT!!! I did a day trip to Oahu and they altered my dress in ONEEE day!!!! That is serious skills! Gladys knows Pronovias as a line so good she knows how to alter the fabrics correctly and teaches her seamstress and team how to too so it's perfect. I am completely happy with my dress. Even more than the original because I customized it to what I wanted and Gladys and her team executed it to a T! Casa has the best team but they also give college students opportunities in the industry. But can I just say Gladys as an individual, as a business owner, as a lady..is one of the most passionate, loving, caring, engaging, on top of her shit person!! This all wouldn't of be the experience it was if it wasn't for her. Wish I could get married every year so I could always work with her!!

Okay. Maybe it was just bad timing and day that we went in because of the whole corona virus pandemic going on... BUT walking into this store, we did not feel very welcomed. The employees had no eye contact and no smiles on their faces. They were not there for the future bride fixing the trail and trying to sell their dresses. No drinks were offered. Nothing was offered. Also, parking kind of sucks here. Try carpooling! So, I'm pregnant and nauseous.. I tend to cough when I'm nauseous and try to hold in my vomiting. Lol. I had a mini cough attack and had to go to the bathroom incase I would puke! When I got back up to the gallery, there was a lady who pulled the bride aside and told her, "We just got the place disinfected. Is one of your group member sick?" Meanwhile we are waiting and can hear everything.. very rude. I know people are scared for their healths but we are too! We aren't trying to get this stupid virus. Anywho, we were upset with the service but loved the dresses. We loved all the options the future bride had tried on. The dresses were in her budget! They were priced well. Maybe you will go on a better day! Despite the rudeness, The dresses and the gallery are beautiful.

We are so happy we chose Casablanca. We actually stopped by a second spot in the Kaka'ako area after visiting Casablanca. We left after waiting for a few minutes. The vibe just didn't feel the same. It felt like we were waiting in a Ross store. Casablanca just felt more inviting and upscale. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We found a beautiful dress at a great price. Our plans were to have a wedding a at 53 by the sea. Unfortunately due to the pandemic our wedding at 53 turned into an elopement wedding and finally just a photoshoot there. What we didn't anticipate was another shutdown. When the shutdown was finally lifted we were sad to find out the wedding planner that works with 53 went out of business during the second shutdown. I know my fiance liked to look of the grand staircase at 53 and remembered Casablanca had a nice staircase. I called them in desperation to see if we could snap a few photos there with my phone. Luckily the said yes! We were really just expecting a few quick snaps with my phone when we got there. To my surprise they took a bunch of photos for us and even moved stuff around in the shop so the photos would look better. They really went above and beyond what were were expecting. Mahalo to Gladys and Rowena for helping us create memories that we'll remember forever during these crazy times! I'll be recommending Casablanca to everyone from now on.

Every bride has dreamed since she was a little girl of her wedding day - from the cake to the ceremony to the way her mother tears up in the front row. But without a doubt, the most fantasized aspect is the wedding gown. Walking into Casablanca feels like a fairytale - you're greeted with shimmering chandeliers, hundreds of gorgeous dresses and a towering spiral staircase that leads to floor-to-ceiling mirrors. Immediately, I felt like a princess. Gladys and Rowena provided a luxury experience during my bridal appointment. They were attentive, sincere, patient, and truly cared about the vision I had for my wedding. I walked into the shop not knowing exactly what I wanted, but they guided me to my dream dress. The selection is massive, and every dress is jaw-dropping! I chose a beautiful A-line, laced, off-the-shoulder Pronovias wedding gown with a corset backing, and it was everything I could have dreamed up and more! After the veil was placed, I already knew - this was the dress. It had the perfect amount of twirl and elegance and ethereal quality I wanted out of a wedding gown. I felt like the center of the universe during my time at Casablanca, and the services Gladys provides is unlike any other. Because my mom couldn't be there for the try-on, Gladys really stepped into the role and made sure I felt loved and celebrated on my big day. I will remember her kindness and compassion for the rest of my life. THANK YOU Casablanca for making my wedding an absolute dream-come-true!

Choosing Casablanca was one of the best decisions I made in my wedding planning. My one 'non-negotiable' for me as a bride was my gown. I knew I wanted to wear the gown of my dreams at my wedding. And they made that possible. I shopped at other bridal boutiques. And none could even come close to the level of excellence I experienced with Gladys, Sonia, and Rowena. From the moment I booked an appointment, Sonia took care of my like family. She took her time to understand my vision and listened while I expressed what I was looking for. She even made some suggestions of dresses I wouldn't normally try and she also allowed me to try on some looks even when she didn't think they were the best for me. It all helped with my process of choosing my dream dress. Sonia was patient, attentive, and honest. She shared the pros and cons of each dress I tried so I really felt like I understood each step. They are also the only bridal boutique that carries Pronovias gowns. Hands down the most stunning dresses ever created. You know you'll be getting something special and won't ever have to worry about another girl wearing your dress! When I put on my wedding gown, I knew within moments that it was mine. It was one Sonia had suggested from the start and not even one I picked for myself. During the fitting process, Rowena was professional and precise. She explained each alteration and made sure it was what I wanted. She even pinned in examples of different options so I could get a clear picture of what the finished product would look like. The girls also helped me with underwear shopping! Absolutely above and beyond, giving me suggestions of shapewear that would be best for my dress and ideas of where to find it. They helped me to select the perfect veil and accessories. At one fitting, Gladys even took the time to pin my hair into a quick updo to get the full picture of myself as a bride. I ended up going with a similar hairstyle on my actual wedding day. Casablanca absolutely is the best in the business. Your dress is such a huge part of your wedding day and you want to make sure you look and feel incredible. I wish I could live in the dress I found at Casablanca and honestly found myself wishing I could do it all over again! It was completely stress free and shopping with them is one of my favorite wedding planning memories. They are worth every penny. Book your appointment today. It'll be one of the best decisions you'll ever make.

I am so grateful to find this place!! Gladys is so wonderful, so patient and so helpful. All the staff are amazing. I got the dress of my dream and they helped me to choose the right dress by giving me time to choose and also not pushy. The test came when I had a second thought and start panicking, they were there to just encouraging me with the dress, make sure everything is perfect. I am a person who easy to lose weight and gain weight and they were very accommodating till last minute, to make sure my dress fit me perfectly. They take care of me and treat me like family. I am so grateful to Casablanca to be my wedding dress boutique.

Shopping in Downtown Honolulu, Hawaii…read more.. Looking for a gown for a formal wedding, I entered Do's Formal. Located on the corner of King Street and Smith Street, I parked in a loading zone which is free after 4pm. Inside, the store is filled with many gowns and even tuxedos! The variety colors and styles is overwhelming. I saw the arrows on the ground which help customers because a person could get lost in there! Service was friendly in the beginning, but cooled off in the end when I didn't like the dress that was suggested to me. I went in the dressing room, but didn't need help with the zipper. I did pull the straps shorter for a better fit, but tailoring the dress would be too much. If you need a wedding gown, suit, or prom dress, take a look here! That day I also purchased a Barong Tagalog for myself as I also walked my sister down the aisle representing my late father. A Barong Tagalog is a men's formal shirt, majority in beige color, but also comes in other solid or ombre colors.  This past weekend, I had to go in to purchase another Barong for my grandfather's funeral. He will be wearing it in his casket at his upcoming memorial service. Via is the shopkeeper who runs Bloom and I met her 2 years ago, she is lovely and extra personable, efficient with what she does. Her shop didnt have many to choose from as she she's been busy with other orders for funerals, and her next large shipment isnt until end of May. I was happy to know that the perfect shirt was on hand, in the perfect size. As much as I'd love to go back to The Philippines to and have an abundant selection of Barong to choose from, a last minute roundtrip ticket with 2 weeks worth of quarantine is not ideal during this time hehe. FYI Bloom by Weddings & Things also provides floral arrangements for special occasions too.

This is a one stop wedding shop! I bought my father's barong tagalog here unfortunately they don't…read morehave the right size in stock. But Via was was able to order more sizes from the Philippines and it came about a week. I also ordered my ceremony flowers from her and she did a beautiful job executing my vision. Overall I am very satisfied with her service!

They have been extremely unprofessional, they forfeited my deposit for no reason letting me know via email when I was about to give birth, the salon is closed for "renovations" and I can't get ahold of them. I decided to go thru BBB to get an answer, I requested for my deposit back and they agreed, but nothing yet. It's has been 4 MONTHS!!! If I could give -100 stars I would!

Before the appointment she was able to answer some questions about her desired wedding gown. May was a joy to work with. The appointment time was 90 minutes. We were told my sister could try on 4 dresses. She was actually able to try on closer to 6 dresses and also try on the dress she really liked. May was a complete delight and made the whole process stress free and fun. We were both offered water upon our arrival and escorted to the bridal suite. Parking is easy, just park in Hokua, they validate. The space is beautiful and clean. They adhered to Covid-19 precautions. My sister rated her favorite dress a 9/10! May also emailed all the information in a timely manner. If you are looking for your dream gown visit Magnolia White! They are also the only bridal suite that have Galia Lahav designer dresses.
