It's bright, beautiful and pristine, all things I associate with businesses from/in Dubai malls. I was elated to find it mostly because it meant not having to drive as far for a karak, but alas, after reading so many reviews that were very unreceptive to the taste by the time I arrived, I found that they weren't offering the karak anymore. A couple more visits and conversations with the baristas and come to find out their very expensive machine that was used to make the karak broke (initially I was told they were re-working the recipe). So sadly I had to suffice with a standard chai, which is good, just lacks the spiced aroma of a proper karak. Despite a slight disappointment with offerings, the coffee is very good, as are the chais. They also have a crepe station which I'll defer trying until a later date, but I am intrigued. Like many of the Yemeni coffee shops in the area like Haraz and Qamaria, they have ridiculously good looking desserts. The interior is built around conversation and relaxation. They've opted for some of the most comfortable chairs anywhere I've seen in quite some time. It makes me hope they have some theme nights or organized events, because the space deserves being shown off more. The only reason I'll put four stars here instead of 5 is because of a few factors: 1) Alot of the drinks on the board require some explanation (or maybe I'm just not in tune with pop coffee culture enough), but that did slow down my ordering and decision-making, 2) the prices are right in line with inflation and the times, which probably put some people out. My favorite coffee is the Napali Brew, which is a really creamy blended espresso beverage. The Thai Tea is my favorite tea drink. Very orange so careful not to spill! But very delicious nonetheless! The staff is very friendly here too and there's plenty of places to sit and enjoy your time.
