Really nice coffee/tea shop and a great location too! Walking in, you're not hit with the wall of coffee aroma. They grind the beans to order, so you get the freshest cup of coffee possible! There's so many different ones to choose from. My favorite coffee is the Napali Brew, which is a really creamy blended espresso beverage. The Thai Tea is my favorite tea drink. Very orange so careful not to spill! But very delicious nonetheless! The staff is very friendly here too and there's plenty of places to sit and enjoy your time. read more

I'm a huge fan of bubble tea and have tried a variety across the U.S. and in Asia. Although this cafe has great customer service and ambiance, the drinks are average and expensive, especially the bubble teas. During my last visit, I tried the Thai Iced Tea. I didn't realize after I asked to add Lychee jelly to the drink that it would be an additional $1.50 for a handful of jelly; that's the most I've ever had to pay anywhere for a topping in a boba. The total came out to be $8 for a small cup. The drink was watered down and quite plain. It didn't taste like Thai tea at all. read more

I was hoping to find a place to avoid going to Starbucks and I might have just found it. I wish it was a little bit closer! I got the French Vietnamese au lait and it was the right amount of sweetness and so good! Also got the spinach ricotta croissant, it gets heated up and that was also pretty good! They've got a ton of coffee and refreshments options. The app is fantastic as well, I highly recommend ordering that way during what are considered peak hours. I was excited to see a new coffee place in the area and finally was able to check it out this morning. It didn't disappoint! The coffee shop itself looks great, it's clean and inviting. They have a variety of treats that's looked very good. I got the iced Carmel dragon...I was expecting ice cubes not frozen but now I know for next time. It's on the sweeter side but very good. Next time I'll try the cold brew. I spoke with who I assume to be the owner and he was friendly and you could tell he truly takes pride in what he does! This place is a cool/modern vibe for anyone that is just looking for coffee, or if you're trying to get some work done. They have a variety of coffee and food items including bagels and other pastries. They also have a microwave and toaster for use if you want anything heated or toasted. As for the coffee, they have a sign in the front that says "smooth cold brew." I can vouch for it. It was SO smooth! Absolutely delicious! From what I've heard, this place is a happening franchise. I'd been to a Sweetwaters before and was so excited to see they had opened one in my area. This location was definitely worth the wait. It's a great size and has plenty of parking. They have a great selection of snacks, teas, and coffees at this location as well. Heads up that as of this review, they are still figuring out locally sourced ingredients for their normal food options but they do have their bagels and other food available. I also love all the plants and local art throughout the store. Biggest bonus is how well they handled the Iron Goddess Oolong. I had a friend visiting who is a picky tea snob and was finally FINALLY happy with a tea in Michigan. They didn't over steep her oolong, the tea bag was biodegradable, and the quality was apparent in the taste. In fact, during our sit down, she was eyeballing all the other tea options she could try. My classic mocha and frappe were also amaziiiing. An extra added bonus was the store owner came by to check in on us and chat for a bit. Like his staff, he was super personable and very attentive. The you g lady had no problem waiting for me to read over the menu, and had no problem answering any questions I had! I can't wait to go back and try something new! This places menu online is not the same as in store, they charged ne for a cup of hot water, which would not have been a huge deal but thier prices are rediculous, the one woman was rude about my wife getting a large and was eatting behind the counter by where food is made for guests, this is against health and safty and will be reported. Sweetwater is a great addition to a busy area off of M59. I had not heard of Sweetwater prior to it popping up in this location, and now there are two more that are in the area that will be opening. I think that that is really great. They have a really excellent selection of coffees and tea and delicious desserts. When I stopped in I had an excellent coffee and then decided to have a piece of tiramisu that was calling my name. The coffee was really smooth and really delicious. I almost wish that I had had 24 oz more of it. The tiramisu was good, but it was a little on the pricey side. Was over $10 for my tiramisu end coffee, so as long as you're prepared to pay a little bit more then you will probably enjoy what you got. I definitely prefer Sweetwater over your Starbucks, it is low key fancy. When I finished my coffee and dessert I noticed by the lid and trash station a poster that said that they have game nights. When I walked in I noticed a big seating area with some games sitting on it and it happened to be from 6 to 8 later that night. I believe it was a Wednesday. I'm not sure if that rotates, but I think it's really cool that they encourage you to come in and bring your friends and kind of have a night where you're hanging out. I love this place. The coffee is good and the people are usually friendly and wear a smile. There snacks are yummy and service is accurate, friendly and prompt. Today (Sept. 23 @ about 4:00 or so), however, the girl who took my order wore a frown and did not say a word. When I told her my rewards didn't register, she just shrugged and looked away. My friend and I were stopping by on Friday 7/31/20 for dessert after dinner. We entered at 8:50pm and told the worker it was our first time visiting (their hours say open until 9pm). I mentioned we were in the mood for ice cream or an ice cream drink. She immediately responded with "unfortunately I cannot make anything with ice cream right now being that it's 10 minutes to close". We were flabbergasted and promptly left as our request was refused. Is this proper employee behavior to refuse to make something for a customer? If so, for (hopefully) future visits I would like to know when I should make it to your shop to have an ice cream drink. Went here over the past weekend, for the first time since lockdown. My wife and I had been avoiding returning as she works with at immunocompromised individuals, and noted multiple complaints of staff not wearing masks. I've been coming to Sweetwaters for the last month or so regularly since the Fall semester began, I love the atmosphere. Great coffee and good snacks, perfect for someone who will be studying for a couple hours. Every table has an outlet which is super convenient, the staff is really nice and helpful. I used to be a regular at Starbucks but with its overcrowding, small spaces to work and few outlets this place is definitely my first choice! It was my first time at Sweetwaters. I will say the customer service is very nice with very good and helpful workers there. It only took about 3 minutes to get my drink. The ice dragon lemonade was very interesting. It tasted like actual lemon and strawberries. It was good. I'm just not use to the healthier version of lemonade. read more

Absolutely love this place! Spent about 5 hours here working and the hospitality was just perfect and the place was very clean! The owner brought around chai tea samples (delicious!) which I thought was a nice gesture. I enjoyed a black safari sunrise coffee and it was very smooth, plus I had the chai spiced cider which was a perfect decision for the first day of October! I ordered a spinach and cheese croissant and a sunrise soufflé, both were fresh and tasty! They also have a few tables outside which was perfect for the beautiful day. WiFi is solid and they have outlets all over and in the floor (not outside, but I'm not complaining). I will most definitely be back! read more

I went to this establishment for the 3rd time today. The first time was good. The man behind the counter was super friendly and the coffee was good. The 2nd time was a few months ago. The service was not as friendly and the food that I ordered was just ok. I went today and there was no one in line. Only one other person was sitting at a dining table and there was a lady behind the counter. I stood there with my daughter for about 2 minutes and she never even acknowledged that I was there.
