Great coffee and study solid. Average brunch/lunch. I ordered the WOmelette which was an omelette shaped as a waffle. It is a unique concept and tasted essentially what I would have excepted. Not spectacular but definitely a decent omelette. I also ordered a 2 count of the cinnamon rolls, and I'm glad I did because they were extremely tasty and I know I could've devoured more than I should have if I ordered a 4ct. I ordered an iced latte as well and will say that convinced me that this place is more of a coffee shop than it is a restaurant. The coffee menu is extensive which tons of options. In addition the restaurant had tons of outlets and spots for someone to bring a computer and study. There even were individual cubicles for people to have solo study sessions which less distractions, something I've only seen in libraries and not in a coffee shop. Indoor space is large and inviting, lots of seating area, comfortable, casual seating and work area tables with stools/seats. Downside during our visit was the breve latte we both ordered. We ordered the exact same drink. Didn't taste great and it was expensive for a medium, plain latte, $4+ each. It wasn't as rich a drink one would normally expect in a breve drink and the taste was off, but we powered through it. What a nice addition to our area! I had the opportunity to grab some coffee and a breakfast sweet treat with a a friend and we both really liked everything this cafe has to offer. The atmosphere is a modern/rustic look with comfortable upholstered seating along with many tables for different sized groups plus a bit of a private study area in the back of the cafe. There are plenty of windows which add to the comfortable and open atmosphere. The seating/dining area has a warm and welcoming feeling as soon as you walk in. The welcome rug at your feet by the front door and the bright and easy to read menu board add a nice feeling to first impressions. Some coffee places are too dark but this place has just the right feel. I had a White Chocolate Tiramisu as my beverage of choice, which is made with white chocolate, cinnamon, toffee nut and Irish cream. It's a rich drink but also very good. I opted to try the Stuffed Nutella Waffle. Wowza on that delicious waffle! Nutella alone is enough to make you happy but using it as part of your waffle just brings a smile to your face and love for your tummy. Not only is the waffle stuffed with that oh so good Nutella, but the strawberries and whipped cream and powdered sugar turn it into a tastebud celebration! Oh so rich, oh so good! For a coffee cafe, their menu has a nice selection. Whether it's breakfast or lunch or you just want a side of something or maybe a dessert or hot or cold beverage, they have a lot to offer including their signature lattes. They offer veggie options and salads as well. For coffee selections, they have drip coffee, classic caffe, expresso, cold brews, teas and a few other choices. What a beautiful cafe in the Shelby area! Just Love Coffee is definitely my favorite breakfast (and lunch!) in town! I discovered JLC when I woke up wanting coffee on a Saturday morning. Starbucks wasn't cutting it. Neither was Tim Horton's. I wanted to try somewhere new. A quick search on Yelp lead me to Just Love Coffee Cafe for the first time (and certainly not the last time, either!) My boyfriend and I got coffee and breakfast around 11am on a Saturday. The place was busy, but nothing we minded. While my boyfriend browsed the menu, I took a few minutes to look around and find a seat. I love how cozy I felt. Before ordering anything I already knew this was my kind of place! The menu is lit up near on the counter and there's also menus nearby as well. JLC is counter service and employees bring your meal to your table after you're assigned a number. The kind couple next to us recommended the Berry waffles and that was definitely not a let down. We also ordered the Chicken dippers and a while chocolate tiramisu coffee. The food was phenomenal. The service was terrific. The waffles are so soft and fresh! For the chicken dippers, the chicken is breaded and wrapped in a waffle. A different take on Chicken and Waffles and I was ALL FOR IT! The white chocolate tiramisu latte is the absolute best coffee I have ever tasted. I've tried a lot of coffee over the years and this latte alone made sure to remind me why this place is called Just Love Coffee. I definitely recommend giving it a try! It's not too sweet and not too strong. Since JLC is close by, I've opted for the breakfast slider on my way to work in my visits since. For about $4 you get bacon or sausage and egg between two slices of waffle. Such a great deal and so delicious! Fills you up past lunch time. Can't wait to try some more meals. I want this place to do so well but part of me wants it keep it unknown because I know it will be busy and this place WILL be packed on the weekend. This was such a cute discovery for brunch this Sunday! I couldn't believe that this place wasn't busier at noon on a Sunday, but we were able to order as soon as we walked in. The food menu took me a while to realize that everything they offer is cooked in a waffle press (hence why the omelets are called "womelets"). Very tasty. Only confusing part of the menu is the drink sizes for when you are ordering to dine in. I had ordered a large coffee and my boyfriend ordered a medium. Our drinks were served in the same sized mug. I looked around at other customers dining in and they all had the same one-size mug, too. Not sure why they bother offering different coffee drink sizes when the mugs are only one size. To start, the coffee and muffin I ordered were just basic and bland. The muffin was dry and lacked the moist, yet fluffy texture a fresh muffin should be. This was my first time coming here and I am SO happy I did! I just found my most favorite place ever!!! The environment inside is so clean, welcoming, and so so friendly!!! The staff was AMAZING!! It's no surprise that I like breakfast, so when my wife asked me on a breakfast date to Just Love I was pretty excited. I've read articles about their delicious foods and coffees. I also knew ahead of time that I wanted their waffle made of tots. The morning was frigid. My toes were frozen little sausages. The rain was mist, and it sprayed me through my skin and down into my soul. You guessed it, it was cold and the weather was crappy. I was also hungry. One would say: " I'm freakin' starved. I didn't get to eat anything today.". I was really looking for ward to coffee. I ordered the Coco Loco latte. Dark chocolate, coconut and almond. When I let this hot, tasty beverage into my system I felt as though I was on vacation. The latte wasn't super sweet or bitter. The coconut and almond kinda killed whatever bitterness the dark chocolate was capable of. Trust me, I know bitter. So the coffee was great. The Bacon Tater waffle was pretty amazing. The tots were cooked perfectly so the edges were nice and crisp, but the hashy brown center was nice and warm and soft. This thing had cheddar cheese, bacon and crushed black pepper on it. I was in heaven. My only complaint (I gotta complain about something) was that it came with ketchup and sour cream. Sour cream is fine for some folks but I'm not a fan. And ketchup? Really? I feel as though the quality of the food justified a more creative dipping sauce than Hines ketchup. It wasn't even homemade ketchup. That was a disappointment. If I had my druthers, I would have had some sort of homemade zesty ranch available. All in all, the staff was super nice, the restaurant was very modern and clean and the food was incredibly tasty. If you find yourself in the neighborhood, I'd recommend Just Love Coffee Cafe. Bring your wallet. It's slightly pricey. Thanks again for being here.
