I dropped my comforter off because of food stains that I got on it the night prior. When I picked it up a couple days later it looked like absolutely nothing had been done to it. It was extremely wrinkled and I asked why. He explained that all they do is just wash the comforter and toss it in a bag. Something I could have done from my home. For $62 dollars nothing had changed. He also tried to say that we spoke over the phone about the stains and how it needed more treatment which never happened. Do not waste your money here! read more

I dropped my wedding dress off last Monday to be pressed only, to get the wrinkles out after traveling. When I went to pick it up on Wednesday, the train of my dress was wadded up in the bottom of a bag with black streaks on it and extremely dirty, like it had been drug across the floor. When I asked what happened and if they thought that was okay, the shorter man at the front told me that the pressers put it in that bag and the marks were probably from when I had worn it. Wrong, I haven't worn it yet. He then said then the black marks were probably from the manufacturer, which I told him was also wrong as my future MIL and I made the dress, there was no manufacturer. He then told me he could try to get the black marks out and repress it. I said thank you, when can I pick it up then? He'd told me Friday evening. I asked specifically for the dress to be draped and hung in two connected dry cleaning bags so that it wouldn't get wrinkled and dirty again. He said okay. I went back to pick it up on Saturday morning, and they had repressed it, but bustled the dress so it created more wrinkles in the train and there were still black spots. I asked him if he thought it was okay, he said I mean I guess we don't want to do it again. I said I did not care, they would be doing it again and that the black marks at minimum had better be gone since they were the reason they were there. Promises were made that the dress would be ready today, Monday, at 4 PM. I showed up at 3:50 and the dress was not ready, nor would it be ready. Their presser is apparently out. I asked if they could not have called me to let me know that for the 3rd time, my dress would not be ready and he said well we're busy. That is absolutely unacceptable. Between the damage to my dress, a now weird chemical smell to it, the continued failure to provide a pressed dress for me to wear at my wedding this Saturday, 0 accountability for the repeated failure to provide good, much less adequate service and the refusal to provide a refund ($159) for failed service, I would not recommend going here for any service. read more

I'm so disappointed. I brought in a skirt suit on a hanger (knowing there were no stains or snags prior to dropping it off). I go back to pick it up and the girl first of all tries to give me someone else's clothes and not my suit. She finally finds my clothes after searching for them... I take it home and take the bag off to find the skirt had been stained and snagged. I immediately brought it back, no apology or anything. The guy working got the stain out and cut the thread off where the snag was but tried to make it like I wouldn't still see the snag. When I said it was still snagged he goes how do you know it wasn't before? I responded I checked it prior to coming in to make sure I knew the condition and it was hanging up when I dropped it off so they could have seen too that there was nothing wrong with it upon drop off. He was extremely rude and said fine come back when the owner is here. No apology, no giving me the owners information, yet they snagged a $200 skirt. Decided to write this review in hopes to save anyone else from the heartache I suffered. I dropped off my wedding dress the day after my bridal shoot in September 2020 because I had 3 small stains on it. I told them, if they couldn't take the stains off, I wouldn't mind just wearing my dress as is because the stains did not bother me too much. I told them I was worried my dress would shrink. One of the part owner of the cleaners laughed and said that dry cleaning doesn't shrink anything and that if it did, it would force me to lose weight. I should have known then that this was not the place to drop off my wedding dress that I had to wear in October. On Oct 6, 2020, the day I was to pickup my dress, I called to see if I come in earlier to pick it up. They seemed confused as to what I was referring to and he read me the pick up receipt on his end, which read, Oct 6. He then proceeded to ask me what date it was that day. I said, Oct 6, that's today. He sounded flustered. Went to speak with someone, came back on the phone, and asked me if I could come in the next day, Oct 7th for my dress. Reluctantly, I agreed. My wedding was a few days away, so I just wanted my dress back before then. I went in, grabbed my dress and came home. I tried it on. It had shrunk! The train was half the size, the chest area was slightly higher, the bodice of this slip wedding silk dress was now tighter, and the bottom became high waters. In tears I went back to the dry cleaners. I showed him the before and after pictures of me in the dress. He was stunned himself and said, "wow that did shrink a lot". He begged me to give him a chance to fix my wedding dress. He said, he didn't want to be out $1800. He also said that he would buy me any dress from the dress store he knew if I didn't like my dress after he fixes it. I said, "what if there is nothing there I like?" He proceeded to call me negative. The next day, I went back in with my then fiancé. I tried on the dress and although he had stretched it, it still didn't hit the floor. (My dress was a 100% silk slip dress custom made from Australia). I told him no, and that I wanted him to pay for my ruined dress so I can just go find a new one as I was getting married in a few days. He would not pay for my dress. He said he would further stretch it out. I said no but he kept begging and saying that its not fair that I'm not giving him another chance. The day before, I called a bridal store and found a replacement dress that was the same price as the dress he ruined. I got them to print me an invoice to take to the cleaners. I told the owner of the cleaners, Larry, that this was the replacement dress and the same price so if he could call to pay for it, I wouldn't be upset and we could all move on. He refused to pay for my dress and sent my then fiancé and I to the dress store he insisted on us going to. We go, and it turns out to be a party dress store that had ZERO wedding dresses. We go back to Larry, and he still refuses to pay for my dress. He makes me try on my wedding dress that he further tried stretching out. Basically, he over stretched my silk dress that it no longer sat and fell the way it was supposed to. There was a stretch mark going down my dress, the bust area was ruined, the whole dress was no longer my dress. My fiancé and I tried to leave the store with our dress. He yelled at us asking where we were taking his dress! Unbelievable. In the end, he never paid me for my ruined dress. He was trying to barter and offered $400-$800 for ruining my dress. My fiancé was able to get $1000 from him and he never refunded me the $214 I paid in dry cleaning fees. It has been a miserable experience, with no apology from him, and him trying to blame others for the fault. He kept reading us the care instruction tag on the dress saying it said it could be washed. WE NEVER ASKED FOR IT TO BE WASHED! I contacted the manufacturer and they said that the only way the silk would shrink is if it was washed in warm-hot water, which I suspect he did by the way he didn't have my dress ready on the original pick up date. read more

I had a great experience here! I had been wanting to try them out because they are so close. First the people are very friendly. I dropped my clothes off with a man and picked them up with a woman and they were both kind, helpful and very professional. I love that this place is eco-friendly. It definitely makes me feel better about having my clothes cleaned. I also loved how clean the building is. It definitely wasn't some run-down dry cleaner that makes you feel nervous leaving your nice clothes at. I don't do dry cleaning often... Maybe every couple months but I felt like the prices were reasonable especially for the quality of work and service. Here's a run down of what it cost me: silk blouse ($6.99), regular blouse ($6.49), blouse with lining - a more delicate and intricate piece ($8.49), and I had two pairs of pants cleaned for $9.90 ($4.95 a pair). There were hidden up charges for lined clothing. The pricing was not worth the service. Their "same day cleaning" was actually two full business days. In addition, a simple day dress that I had cleaned, costing almost $16 to clean alone, had new stains on the front of it! Very frustrating. I really wanted to use this dry cleaners because its so close to where I live. Unfortunately their prices are too expensive. I just moved from Newport Beach CA and it was less expensive to dry clean my clothes there. At Life Dry Cleaners, they charged me $16.38 (including tax) to clean a petite dress with lining and a belt (and by belt - a small piece of material). That's ridiculous. Competitive pricing is important to me so I'll have to find a new dry cleaner. read more
