I've been consistently going here for a few weeks now (because they have an amazing introductory offer) and have thoroughly enjoyed the classes. I've only taken the hot power yoga classes, but have taken it with several different instructors and liked all of them. Each instructor is unique in their approach and the poses they have us go through, but for the most part they are pretty similar and have all been great. They always stick around at the end if you have any questions. I also took a private yoga session here with Caitlyn where I was able to meet with her one on one. I am still very new to yoga and wanted to know if I had the correct form for some of the poses and Caitlyn was really great in helping me through that. They offer other yoga courses too like restorative yoga and hip & back yoga, but I haven't gotten a chance to try those yet. I've had a couple of questions since joining and have reached out to the studio via email and they are always quick to respond! I honestly cannot say enough good things about this place and all the people who work here. Yoga has been my new outlet and this studio has been really good to me. Highly recommended for anyone interested in yoga whether you are a beginner or not !

I love the original hot yoga, core fire conditioning, yoga sculpt and power yoga classes. I haven't tried the non-heated classes, but I've heard those are great as well. The studio is extremely welcoming - the teachers and community are so friendly and genuine. The manager Jess is always planning something new and fun, so there are special classes, workshops, or social events happening all the time which is so fun! It was an inner spiritual retreat in 90 minutes. Her language and calm approach to give permission to go within slow and steady is a most delicious way to start an already beautiful day. The classes are mostly restorative, so don't expect to be breaking a sweat in most classes. However, if your purpose in doing yoga is relaxation and stretching, this is your place. A few things I wish they'd improve - first, the parking is very cramped. Don't get me wrong, I'm grateful in downtown Bristol for any parking...but it can be hard to get in and out. Second, their schedules occasionally change without notice so make sure to check the website (NOT the paper schedule they hand out). Finally, they have lovely paper decorations hanging all over the studio, which get in the way for standing poses. Not a huge fan of those- they kind of impeded my warrior poses. Overall, a calming great place to practice and I'll certainly be back! I loved getting to trial different instructors. They round out my yoga practice, as I like a variety of styles & intensity levels. This would be a great place to being a more novice yoga practitioner, someone with an injury, or someone seeking a meditative/relaxing class.

By her kind, caring, empathetic comments during the class. She is an amazing instructor! Her guidance in improving postures, holds, poses was supportive and so assistive. Her knack for providing carefully crafted instructions to individual students is awe-inspiring. There is no painfully regurgitated "dialogue," and no ridiculous and extreme conditions that cater to the egotist. Don't get me wrong--the room is hot and humid, but you sweat because she makes you work hard, not because you feel faint due to a heat index of 150. Mary Ann knows all the modifications for those who have any ailments, and how to push those who master the basics. You can take a break if you are having an off day without absurd repercussions or belittling. Unfortunately, I can only make it once or twice a week now since I moved away--but the high quality instruction and proper conditions make it worth the trip. Definitely try the place, especially now with the brand new accommodations--always clean and never smelly. Easy parking eliminates yet another headache. Go in prepared to listen and learn, and you will be amazed at how much you didn't know!

Not only are the aesthetics of Santosha immediately calming, but I have always felt welcomed and accepted by the teachers and staff. The front desk employees have consistently been pleasant and helpful--and often drop into the class themselves after everyone is checked in. All of the instructors I've met thus far have been highly knowledgeable, warm and compassionate. Overall, they have balanced explaining poses, breath work and technical aspects of practice with essential core concepts for understanding and deepening one's yoga practice. All of the classes I've attended have been inviting, honest and uphold the true meaning of yoga--unity. I've especially enjoyed the "Energy Healing Clinics" offered monthly (I think it's monthly anyway)--$5 donation for quick Reiki sessions and other energy healing practices. Santosha offers a discount for students as well as military personnel which I think is great--a way to increase accessibility to yoga. The only downside to this studio is that there are relatively few classes offered each week. Nonetheless, Santosha is a wonderful oasis and a hidden gem of Cranston for sure. I found this yoga center by a quick google search online, and I was already impressed with their fabulous website: www.omkidsyogacenter.com I made a phone call and spoke with the owner and fabulous yoga instructor, Elyse Rotondo. I was interested in the Mommy and Baby yoga classes available, and she was so welcoming and friendly right off the bat. When I made it to the center (parking can be a little tricky, but Main Street and side street parking available, plus two small lots in front and to the side of the building are available), I immediately embraced this fun and relaxing space. The classes are reasonable in price, and very much worth it. My child had a great time with all the fun yoga poses, especially the dancing to fun music part. I felt I was able to get a mild to at times moderate workout (with some of the poses). During savasana, the instructor watched a couple of the little crawling babies, as my friend and I were able to fully relax and enjoy a full 3 and a half minutes of total relaxation. This may not seem like a lot - but it was heaven to this mom who is used to chasing after an active little almost toddler. At the end, hot tea is offered and you're able to stay as long as you'd like (there wasn't a class right after). The owner is so knowledgable about yoga, childcare, and keeping both parent and baby entertained, active, happy, and relaxed. I can't wait to go back!
