Hello!!! Jen and her BEYOND INCREDIBLE TEAM will blow your mind. The professionalism in which she comes in and listens to all of your needs, wants and hopes for your home or space you want organized is just beyond what I expected. You start getting so excited. I mean she explains to you her vision from what you've expressed to her, all this excitement starts to develop inside you. But then you think this excitement is just you getting excited for the visual and you can't wait. Then Jen and her team arrive to your home and a greater excitement kicks in. You see them so efficiently breaking up into teams, each of them tackling a room an area a space. You leave and come back and all of a sudden one or two rooms have completely been transformed. I can't even explain how wonderful I felt the first night knowing that my kitchen was well on its way to organization. That my Bathroom was also on its way to be organized when you two boys in the house it's hard to keep things organized, but the boys came in and saw how fast, efficient and hard this team works my boys quickly said we are going to keep it organized we promise. They did my entire house in 3 days something that would have taken us all year to do, I am not joking it really would have take us an entire year maybe more. But these kids came in and in 3days they organized and efficiently used every inch in my house. I was so incredibly impressed by them from the first day. We love the feeling of having guest over and say wow your house looks different did you buy something new, and I love saying nope it's just everything is organized and where it's meant to be. I love every inch my house now, I love going into my pantry and being able to see my snack basket, my dessert basket, etc and see if I am running low of things and being to replenish it and it being all organized. Every spoon, every towel, and doggy toy has its place. Now, I am not and impulsive buyer, now I think I Do I have space for those shoes. Omg don't let me start on my clothes. Everything is color coordinated, all my winter scarfs and hats put away in baskets and labeled ( by Alex, and her insanely perfect writing) omg do love her writing. Your shoes in boxes are the best. We have a studio apart too that they turned into a study room for my son. All school supplies, there ready and labeled. All these things make your life easy and who doesn't easy and effective. Jen is amazing at what she does, not everyone can do what she and her team can do for you trust me. I know sometimes we can say oh this can be a weekend project, but let me tell you No!!!! Stop yourself, because you might think you can do this but why, let the pros do what they do best. I will never ever think I can do this for myself. I will let the pros to it. My son loves his study room studio where he spends time with his friends doing homework and playing games. Jen and her team organized all his video games, she order a wall calendar that take up half our wall where I can keep all our schedules up and ready for all us to read. We love them so much we had Jen and her back to do both my garages. It took them a DAY YES A DAY!!! I mean they came in this past Friday and again they came in all the tools and materials to organize my garage. I stand by each and every one of my statements. I have documentation of the timeline, correspondence, including a note from my son's doctor verifying that he was gasping for breath and in distress while I was at the doctor and the team walked out on the job. Regarding the payments, I only received a refund for the deposit on the second day when they quit. I requested in writing a reimbursal for the first day, outlining my complaint and how distressing the experience was for me. NOT ONE person from the company gave me the courtesy of a response. This yelp reply is the first time I've heard from them since then. To clarify, I have NOT been reimbursed for day one by Life in Jeneral. I've even had to dispute the charge with my credit card company and am waiting for a resolution as the case is under review. Hopefully, Jen will do the right thing. In addition, I spoke to a representative at National Association of Productivity & Organizing Professionals (NAPO). I didn't see Life in Jeneral in the online directory and it's on Jen's website. I was told that the she is a provisional member and not a professional member. This is because she hasn't completed the requirements to be listed as professional member in the directory. There are many professional members listed that are highly rated and less expensive. One day, after I posted my initial review, a shoe rack I assumed I purchased appeared on my front porch. I have no idea who left it there but they obviously thought it was perfectly fine not to ring the doorbell, call or text. Finally, I'm a cancer survivor with a leg condition (lymphedema) from having eighteen lymph nodes removed from my pelvis during surgery. If I'm on my feet for too long, my legs swell, are in excruciating pain and the risk of a leg clot. I desperately needed this help in my home for my business and personal life and am sorry I couldn't keep up with my homework. The truth is that I was not the right fit for them. And instead of shaming a client, they are the ones who should be ashamed. read more

We have had the great pleasure of working with Life In Jeneral recently. Due to construction requirements, we had to move everything out of our 4,000 sq, ft. home for a period of time. We raised three children in that home and have accumulated 25 years of items, mostly obsolete or forgotten. We used Life in Jeneral to redo our walk in closet. Originally, there was no space for my husbands things in the closest and ideally we wanted to be able to move his clothes out of the guest room and into our master bedroom. Jen and her team designed a new closet for us from scratch through The Container Store. She oversaw the demolition of our current closet as well as the installation; making sure all went according to plan. She also called her own handyman and had him do patch repairs and install better lighting that day. This process would normally take a lot of time, but the team was in and out in 2 days. She made room for all my clothes and brought my husbands things into the master closet as well. She utilized the small space very well.
