We also planned to look at kayaks, but, after the experience with life jackets, we changed our minds. I have more than enough experience teaching and coaching new shooters for quite some time. I was honorably discharged as a Squad Leader of Infantry Marines in Weapons Co of my battalion. To say I'm experienced enough to handle myself in a gun store is beside the point. The point is those that aren't. I've had the pleasure of exposing my family and friends to this world since coming home. Both my brother and my father have now had the same shit experience with this store. My brother was almost convinced into a sale that would scam him out of a rightful, fair sale. Years later, same store, my father now has bought his first gun. He was demeaned and even the tone of voice of the boot on the phone oozed arrogance and self entitlement. They also felt necessary to brow beat him about not buying in store because he got a discount somewhere else. Short and sweet would've been nice but here's my review Patriot Arms! If you're comfortable and experienced you'll be fine, but if you're a beginner or anyone not totally sure of what you want... good luck. Transfer changed. FFL changed. And I'll be sure to preach to the masses about how you guys like to treat people and the environment you create in your store. My family of all people will not be treated like this. We showed up at the meeting location for a surf lesson on time and there was no one here. We had…read moregone to the shop before heading to the meeting site and checked in and the woman said you're all checked in and apparently never alerted anyone that they were checked in. After I called the surf shop to advise them that there was no instructor at the meeting location, I was told who we were supposed to have as an instructor apparently "had a mixup in his schedule" is what the young lady said when calling. This isn't the first time this has happened. When we did this last year same situation of a schedule mixup. The young gentleman at the shop where you pick up your wetsuits are very pleasant and helpful. I was later called by one of the managers to let me know that they were refunding for the full cost of the lesson and that we would still get our lesson. They said they were refunding to apologize for the inconvenience of waiting over 30 minutes past our lesson time for an instructor to arrive.

There's always a dockhand working, to help you out with whatever you need, which I love because I'm not the best at docking! They also have super clean restrooms and showers available. I've been told that my body is not meant for the sport, that I am a terrible rider, and so on. I am compared to people and in front of the whole class, I've been told that I ride like a dick. I think that if the trainer likes you and you're a 'favorite' you're all set to go! But if you're like me and the trainer absolutely hates you with her guts? Ya it's not the place. I am so sick and tired of going home from this place feeling like i'm not a good rider or I don't deserve my pony. It's just such a rude, not respectful, and honestly not that nice of a place to ride! They don't jump above 3ft, but like you're even going to jump above 2'6" here. I just felt like the whole time I was at this barn, i'm not going to get anywhere.
