It's pretty small inside and definitely has an antique shop feel. There's lots of different styles and things around. There are a few small tables scattered throughout. The lady at the front was very kind and happy to walk us through their options. They have one small case that's mostly savory and one small case that's sweets with a tiny truffle case on the counter. I think the move here is the cinnamon roll, but when we arrived they were still baking, which meant it smelled delightful, but were weren't able to try one. We ended up trying the breakfast muffin, which was really unique. It's a muffin with cheese and spinach baked in, along with an entire strip of bacon just under the surface, and an entire egg baked in the middle. It was good, but I'm not sure I would order it again. I'm not usually a scone fan, I prefer a muffin, but their scones looked good. We tried the blueberry lemon and the cranberry orange. They were both really flavorful with a good texture, not super dry. The blueberry edged out the cranberry for me because the blueberries were fresh, whereas the cranberry were dried. This is a cute small shop, clearly making everything from scratch with passion. I'd stop back in for a cinnamon roll for sure!

The gentleman waiter who has worked at The Coffee House for many years was so welcoming to us. He walked our first time diners through the menu expressing his favorites and top picks. He put huge smiles on their faces with his descriptions of sauces, etc. Everyone loved what they ordered. I, of course, cannot get enough of the side grilled fish. So delicious and pairs excellent with a mimosa! Excited for their outdoor seating to open up this summer and we hope a few tables remain uncovered so I can work on my tan! Love you Coffee House!

We lucked out and arrived right as the largest table in the tiny place was finishing up so we got a table that comfortably fit the six of us. The waiter was super nice and helpful, especially since we started out saying we needed three checks. I ended up getting something I used to get years ago and was thrilled to see that they still had: pan-fried Yaquina Bay oysters and eggs, along with the homemade biscuit. Love that they have homemade bread and bread their own oysters and fish. I was worried that this place wouldn't be as good as it was when I used to go there 12 years ago with the new owners but it was as good as ever. Everyone enjoyed their meals and the waiter was super kind and funny. Love to see this place still thriving.

The drinks were made to order, which seems to be a problem for a lot of coffee places. I drink my coffee at 120* because the normal temps are too hot for me. It's a great location. Easy access, just no trailers because the drive thru won't accommodate them. It's nicely appointed and super cute. We will return!

Located near the heart of Newport, this quaint shop offers a variety of coffees, teas, Red Bull drinks, and additional flavors. There are also a handful of breakfast and healthy snacks to purchase. You can order a typical coffee drink or try one of their house specialties with delicious flavors and themes that tie back to Newport and/or the Pacific Northwest. There's something for everyone, and they even have dog treats if you bring your pups to the shop. I was also happy to know that if you wanted to make the drinks more or less sweet they could accommodate. There are also are sugar free options. And for the sweets lovers, each coffee is topped off with a chocolate covered espresso bean. The building itself accommodates walk-ups and drive thru. The exterior is a beautiful blue, and the interior looks clean and well kept. The staff is extremely friendly offering suggestions, describing the drinks, and doing everything in their power to ensure you leave a happy customer. I would come back to Newport for a variety of reasons, but I would definitely come back for this coffee experience.
