What a lovely addition to Yachats. Cute location next to Ona. They use really good quality coffee. I highly recommend the experience of a shot of espresso that comes with a little glass of sparkling water just like in Italy. They also do delicious masala chai tea and specialty coffee drinks. Over the holidays they had a peppermint mocha that was sublime. Friendly bright and fun place to just hang out for a bit. read more

Nice little coffee shop down the street from our hotel. Stopped by in the morning before heading south and got some coffee. Inside is nice and cozy if you wanted to sit down and relax for a little bit after driving for a couple of hours, and the service is pretty fast if you are needing something to jolt your morning started. The coffee is smooth and the flavors are all there instead of being hidden behind the burnt taste of those who shall not be named coffee companies. Definitely everything good about a small coastal town coffee shop! Absolutely the best coffee shop on the Oregon coast. Drinks are amazing and the barista is very knowledgeable. One of the best flat whites I've had in long time. Drinks are served in an appropriate time & the ambiance is quaint. Very little seating inside, but not a big deal because there are handful of tables outside. This gem here in Yachats is a great find on the Oregon Coast. While enjoying one of the best cups of coffee I've ever had, I overheard one lady say to the other, "they don't have breakfast." I offered up, "I believe that the salmon pastry puff and the bacon, eggs and cheese puff pastry will more than satisfy your breakfast wishes." Afterward, the two ladies thanked me for such a great recommendation. I drive up from Florence or down from Newport for their coffee and pastries - they are truly worthy of 5 stars! Cute little spot! I got an iced hazelnut latte and it was phenomenal. I'm not a coffee snob by any means, but you can really notice when they hit the shots and get the proportions just right. I also got a slice of the apple cake, which was very good. The barista was really warm and friendly. I actually found the service and coffee here at Dream Machine to be much better than the coffee I got at the Green Salmon across the street. Dream Machine will definitely become my go-to coffee spot in Yachats from now on! read more

What a colorful, inviting spot! We really felt comfortable the minute we walked in with all the muted pastel Cups, chairs, walls, cushions, etc. And wonderful theme. Everyone was very busy behind the coffee bar from the barista's to the owner. We had delicious lattes. I had a lavender with oat milk and a lovely design was on the top. Had a delicious crispy, egg bite. Talked to the owner a bit really nice and we would definitely go back. The colors were so comforting definitely a must. We were visiting Yachats, as we often do, and were told of a new coffee shop. We ordered 2 drinks, a Mexican chocolate coffee and a Chai tea. Both were phenomenal! The ingredients far surpassed the typical coffee shop. Even handwhipped cream! We also ordered 3 egg bites and a savory pastry, all of them were readily devoured. Dream Machine should be at the top of the list for best coffee on the entire OR coast! I pride myself on being a coffee snob. I want a coffee shop that delivers on being able to pick up the notes in the coffee beans. That lets the coffee stand on its own but also knows the balance of coffee to milk to sweetener ratio. Extra points if there are homemade or artisanal made syrups and spices. Dream machine delivers on all these points! You won't find Torani syrup here or other corn syrups. Owners Matthew and Tara are brilliant with their barista knowledge and technique! Tara makes incredible homemade pastries and treats. Get the salted brown butter Choco chip cookie and salmon puff! The Cardamom latte with a touch of ginger is my go to but if you are a mocha fan the quality of chocolate they use is the best, you won't be disappointed. This coffee shop stands out above them all and you won't get the creepy vibes you find at the fishy place across the street where they ask you if you like your coffee black like their soul, yikes.
