I've had items stored in a storage unit approximately 1/4 mile away for just over a year. Each month would go by and I'd get so upset regarding.. it got to the point where I couldn't even remember all that was in the unit - Plus the rent increases were ridiculous... It went from $110.00 a month to $179.00 in a years time.. Anyway, I found someone who could help & decided that it was time to vacate. We got a lot out and donated it... But that took a couple of trips. Finally it was obvious that we needed a van... That way we could just get it all done. I went over there in person because I was so close. The 2 agents that helped me were great. The cost was, $19.99 per day plus .69 cents a mile... I estimated 30 miles usage. There are other charges tax, and we needed a hand cart & that was an extra $10.00. So we walked over to get in the van and take off but noticed a pungent odor of cat? And fur all over the seats... There was NO way I was going to get inside. We went back in an explained the situation...they apologized and gave us another one . When we got inside it was clear that it was like brand new. No odors or filth... We drove off and completed the chore of moving.... I'm not sure of the time, but we had the van approximately 5 hours. The estimation of milage was high..we only did 2/3 of what we thought it would be. When we went to return it I thought.. Don't just drop it off.. like a rental car you must have them go over it with you so there are no discrepancies. I am pleased to state and there were none. In all ( including the dolly) the total cost was $53 and change ... Hiring a mover for a job like we did would be astronomical. The 3rd agent who was there when we returned the van and dolly was also wonderful. I started this review with the notion that I was very skeptical due to the reviews.whether to rent or not.... I showed up for a trailer hitch installation appointment. So I rented a pickup while they were to…read moreinstall the hitch. Hours later they called my husband to tell him they were missing small parts to the hitch in stock. Another u haul said they had not the hitch but the parts needed to make the incomplete hitch whole. When I went back to buy the hitch they had to be told they had no hitch there at all. I am moving tomorrow. I planned everything perfect and Salisbury u haul screwed me over

Beware! Steve is all talk! movers speedy and nice enough. they damaged a very high end table…read more(perfect condition!) and he refuses to pay. Says insurance won't either! Damage on a dresser that was new and in a guest room, he suggest "painting it"!!! be careful when you choose! I was told all would be covered/wrapped....complete lie!

On the day of the move, Danny, Mike and Cam quickly, carefully and very professionally completed the move without any issues. Great job Andresen for doing the job right!! At the end of the day, the cost of the move was much less than the estimate due to the quick work.

I have moved 15 times in my career and this company is by far the WORST moving company that I have…read moreever used or dealt with. The packers didn't pack what they were supposed to so the people that were loading the truck had to do it and just threw things in boxes. The delivery date for my goods was set 60 days prior delivery at 0800. Without ANY COMMUNICATION they changed the delivery date over a week later at 1000 the morning that they were supposed to deliver the good. The move was literally cross country therefore they knew well before after the delivery time that they would not be there if they were still a week out. Also, in all my times moving I have never had as much damage to my goods as in this move. they hit the front end of my car into something and then only partially paid for the damage with quotes and contact information from the repair shop provide. they scratched my TVs, broke lamps, scraped paint on the walls in my brand new house and paid for none of it. Save yourself the trouble pick any mover other thank this company!! In every move things have the risk of getting damaged but all other 14 companies paid for the damage that they cause. This company WILL NOT unless you pay for a lawyer and take them to court. More time and money out of your pocket!!
