Watch out because they steal here. It's not like my club in the OC where people are honest. I had 2 Stanley cups stolen from here and my cell phone magically went from the locker to the weight room. If you are considering getting a membership to Lifetime in Las Vegas; read this review. It's growing exceedingly painful to stomach paying nearly $2,500 a year for this gym. From the blatant mismanagement to a staff that clearly takes no pride in their work, Lifetime is barely worth the drive at this point. Before I continue; understand that I have apt experience at both the Green Valley and Summerlin locations; and will be leaving this review across all of their directory platforms. I frequently come later at night and the vibe is clear for anyone coming after 8PM; unwelcome and rushed. Lifetime used to be 24 hours until the pandemic; but despite restrictions lifting statewide - they never returned to a 24 hour operation which is almost mind-boggling given the town we live in and the price we pay for the gym. The staff always announces the gyms closure 5-10 minutes ahead of time (for example, if it's 11:40PM they say the gym is closing in 15 minutes). The lifeguard staff are almost adversarial towards patrons - often closing the pool areas before the posted times, turning off the outside jacuzzi heat and jets an hour before they're supposed to be off, turning the steam room off before closing, and forcing patrons to rush through those amenities because of what I'm assuming is a desire to leave work as early as possible. The gym is frequently a mess at both locations. There are piles of un-racked weights, dumbbells misplaced, and out of place gym equipment scattered across the gym floor. There is debris all of the floor, the sanitizer stations are constantly empty which is pretty gross, and the sweat towels are constantly empty. It's clear no one takes pride here - how could you run a "premium" gym and leave it in such disarray? Not to mention the locker rooms are often filthy, disgusting showers with hair clogging drains, used razors everywhere, and filth everywhere it can latch onto. On top of all of this, the staff needs to be trained in customer service. With the price we pay - I shouldn't be the one engaging with the staff as I walk in. When I pay top dollar for any experience - I expect the service to be impeccable. At the Summerlin location specifically there is a tall staff member at night who I ALWAYS say hello to and he just stares at me. And at the Green Valley location the front desk girls are often too preoccupied with what I'm assuming is their boyfriends to properly greet guests as they come and go. The cost we pay should demand higher service, they need to step it up substantially. Then there's the patrons... you'd expect that with this kind of membership, it would keep the undesirable guests out. But there are young ego-lifting kids who throw there lightweight dumbbells on the ground because they can't control the weight, old men who use pedieggs in the steam room, and a plethora of rich dudes with ILS walking with their nose in the air. As someone who takes bodybuilding seriously, the peers around me are embarrassing and don't seem to face any recourse for poor gym etiquette. We live in a 24 hour town - closing the gym at midnight is a joke. If you finish work at 8, you have to rush through your workout and don't have time to shower. And I'm not the only one who feels this way; I talk to members constantly with the same grievances. Lifetime members - we need to demand better. Let management know how poor of a job they're doing. And if our feedback goes unheeded - let's move up the ladder to corporate. I hope this review gets across the right desk and some positive changes can be elicited as a result. I don't know how much longer I'm willing to pay a premium for a subpar experience with a messy environment, no love for the late night gym goers, and poor customer service. Yes, it's somewhat expensive, Yes, it's slightly out of the way but it's a really fantastic operation. I went with a buddy of mine to play tennis while staying on the Strip. We left about 20 mins ahead of our appointment thinking it was plenty of time. Unfortunately, between traffic and it being a little farther away than we realized we ended up getting there about 10 mins late. It worked out ok because we were able to play an additional 1/2 hour longer than originally planned. It took us several minutes to "join" for the day and cost us $50 per person to join, which seemed a little excessive but what the heck. We made our way back to the indoor tennis courts passing by the sauna, lockers, children's play area, snack / drinks room, aerobics rooms and much much more. This place is enormous. Everything we saw appeared to be first class. The tennis courts are outstanding. If my memory serves me correctly, there are approx 8 courts. Each has a netted wall around it and very high ceilings. The lighting is a little unusual but still works well. I believe the court rental fees were about $16 per hour. In spite of the cost and distance, we would definitely use Lifetime again. If they can get staff to clean when the gym us closed or perhaps have dedicated persons to clean areas when they can it would make a huge improvement. Pride is lacking big time in operations. Ok.. So let me start off by saying I used to really enjoy this gym. I also understand the necessary adjustments a business must make in order to remain opened due to Covid 19.. But when you "reactivate " my membership and begin billing me with no indication, that's a problem.. When I email corporate about suspending my membership because I have a cold symptoms and do not want to make contact with anyone at the gym and I am told to send them a doctors note or they will not suspend my membership.. Specially after telling them I had symptoms and them not caring about their customers safety...that's a problem. When you go from 24 hour business hours to closing at 9pm.. no jacuzzi, no sauna, no razors, no mouth wash, a 2.5 % INCREASE IN PRICE for 80% less of the gym, THATS A PROBLEM. It's so surprising to see this place is rated low. Everything is top notch. The kid's playroom is big and they hold a lot of activities for the kids. The gym equipment is always well taken care of and new. I love the cafe. The pool is awesome in the summer and the locker rooms have everything I could ask for! The individuals at the front need to be more educated on the clubs enrollment and rules. They told me they put my name on a waitlist, but they never draw from that waitlist when it comes to Medicare memberships. One of the women at the front told me this. It can be pricey however, the equipment is always clean. Everything is very clean. If you were to go to another gym, they would charge you for yoga. They would charge you for a lot of the classes that they provide for free. It's also very family oriented environment as there is something to do for everyone of every age. The staff is incredibly welcoming and very nice. They actually take the time to get to know you, so you feel very much like family after a few months of being there. They also have a lot of events which is fantastic and provides a very nice sense of community. I would highly recommend this facility. The number of poor reviews is very telling. But they fall on deaf ears simply because this is a business to generate revenue, nothing more. As noted, this is a fancier EOS with zero competition. Therefore, they know they have a monopoly so care very little about anything but revenue. In Las Vegas, you can join a low end gym, or Lifetime; there is no middle ground. LT is not a high end gym as measured by service or value. It's a low end gym with a few aesthetics to give the illusion of higher end. As mentioned previously, there is zero customer service. The place is run by a bunch of high school kids and unskilled rude employees who couldn't care less about the members. No professional leadership is present that has any clue about service or how to treat customers. It's all corporate rhetoric and marketing out of Minnesota. Don't believe a word of the marketing hype. The locker rooms are dated and dirty. The steam room is full of black grout which is dirt and mold. Tiles have been missing for years already with no interest in repair. The walls are full of limescale which is an indicator of lack of cleaning. In the dry sauna, look under the wood benches and you will see a black forest of who knows what. Disgusting. If you mention it, deaf ears again. No one working there has any authority or even cares to fix it. The response is if it costs money hear nothing. If it makes money, done the same day. Yes, they nickel and dime you and raise prices continuously because they can. You can go to LVAC/EOS etc if you don't like it is the attitude. Complain to who, a rude automaton at the front desk? Good luck with that because they are likely too busy socializing to even hear you. The employees know nothing except the word No, or you have to pay more, or it's against 'policy'. If you think you will be treating as a customer, you won't. You'll be treated more like an inmate. No one can/will ever help you if you have an issue. The best you will get is a corporate slogan or canned response which is like one size fits all. Too bad if you don't like it. The customer serves the company; totally backwards. But again, they own the market so tough luck. In a nutshell, you will pay a lot for little. But as said, it's a poor choice in Las Vegas between lower end gyms and this. For 300/month, this is a total rip-off. LT will continue to exert its market power here until/unless there is a reasonable alternative which seems unlikely for the short term. Seems most of the members are biding time until something else comes along. A mass exodus is around the corner if/when someone else comes into the marketplace. I can't wait for that! read more

First time here and let me tell you who ever put a 1 star rated on this place is not normal. I have never seen a gym like this in my whole entire life it felt like I was walking into a VIP Building with nothing but celebrities and famous people. This place is huge with 2 story cardio room, full tennis court ,2 basketball courts, A daycare center,a recovery room, a cafe And a outdoor pool that looks like a casino resort This place is so clean that not once I see any sweatmarks on the workout equipment. Let me start off this review by saying that I have been a member of lifetime for over 4 years and have visited over 10 different lifetime locations. Pros: Brooke, the member services manager is fabulous. Shes super nice and will help you with anything you need. Cons: The worst part about this club is the general manager, Nic Rodriguez, who does not care about customers at all, hardly ever interacts with his employees and always has his door shut. He simply is stuck in la la land pleasing his regional managers. Dont try to email him with issues you see around the club because he will ignore you because he simply doesnt care. They recently introduced a pool fee that you pay during the summer which I hate. I already pay $160 monthly to work out here and they want to charge me $75 more to use the pool when it used to be included in my membership for free. Its a ridiculous fee. Now you have to present a "pool pass" in order to access the pool during the summertime. For $75, I might as well just go to the casino pools because they are a lot nicer. The other part about this club that bothers me is the tennis department, which makes it almost impossible to sign up for a simple class and they act more like an exclusive club-within-a-club atmosphere that keeps people out more than brings them in. I inquired about signing up for tennis lessons and they told me I had to be rated by a tennis professional in order to do classes. She said I would receive a call but I never did. I had to call again a week later and remind them and then finally was contacted. This is not a supportive gym. The patrons of this gym are very judgmental, quiet and keep to themselves. read more

My husband and I were members for about 2 years at the Green Valley location. We did enjoy going however the prices got to be extreme. The money we saved from canceling our memberships we splurged on becoming members of a real country club resort in San Jose del Cabo, Mexico. My husband works in aviation and we go back and forth as often as we like. I'm retired and this just puts the icing on the cake of my lifestyle. Love this gym! Hands down the best gym in Vegas. Feels like you're at a day spa. Probably the priciest gym membership in Vegas also, but there's a reason for it. The pools, pool bar, tennis and pickle ball courts, day care, locker rooms, classes are all unbeatable. The price also means it's a nice crowd and not too overcrowded. Makes it totally worth it if you ask me. Try bundling with a partner because it makes it way more cost effective. The service of all the staff is fantastic! Long time member who returned with a guest pass. I did not feel welcomed at all at the Green Valley branch. What a horrible way to start the day! A young lady at the front desk made me feel like a criminal using a guest pass that was extended to me as a personal courtesy for being a long time member who happened to be back in Vegas on business. Perhaps the young lady had a point, but she is customer service and due to her actions she turned a lifetime advocate to someone who will never step into another lifetime again. Once inside, the place just didn't feel the same. Not anywhere the buzz or activity that I saw in 2015-2017. Lifetime used to be my mental and physical oasis. I used to go daily and connected well with everyone. Trainers, cafe personnel, even member services! Now it's mostly empty, stairmasters and treadmills not well maintained or cleaned. I was surprised at first, but after this horrible customer experience, no longer. Now there are some great people here, but the front desk experience is so critical! Lifetime what happened!? Great facility, but they are ridiculous with pricing for what they offer. The pools are full of obnoxious kids who were never taught boundaries and respect for those around them. They should have installed an adult only pool next to the bar. I stopped going due to the pool issue and the women's locker room being used as a family locker room (they have a separate family room). She is a high energy positive team player with a lot of knowledge regarding a variety of training styles and forms of movement. Which is really important in my eyes when referring to a personal trainer. She makes learning about each individual little movement / practice fun and interactive. You don't get to treat people the way that staff and other members are treated are there. If witnessed on multiple occasions, the management team treat their trainers poorly. This is the best Athletic Club in Vegas, without a doubt. The customer service is the best, the day care (kids academy) is wonderful, the facilities are full of the best equipment and everything is clean! No exaggeration about the locker room being very clean, they are always cleaning constantly, I have never not seem someone cleaning in the locker room. There are towels and sanitation wipes all over the gym, it's great! I love coming here and while it's more expensive than other gyms I am never let down in anyway and happily there is no contract here either. I've been going to lifetime for a little over a year now. There are things I love about it and things I really don't. Things I love: -The gym itself - well equipped; clean; nice amenities such as towels, shampoo, conditioner, shave cream and razors, lotion, deodorant, hairspray, mouthwash, etc. -The pool - gorgeous and the lanes are always open - The free classes - great quality and mostly good timing - The ease of talking to someone about your account - The cafe which is pretty good for a gym cafe - The app that comes with membership - The other members of the gym are mostly professionals who don't spend the entire time taking selfies in the mirror - The employees - some of the nicest and most genuine people teach and train here (shoutout to Bethanny S., Brooke K., JoJo M., Carmen B., Cyndi J.) - The health assessments. Seriously this changed my life to find out that I have an allergy/sensitivity to gluten Things I don't like: - The price - membership dues, trainer costs, assessment pricing, additional class costs are just insanely high but I tolerate them because it motivates me to go. Also I hate that everyone pays a different price depending on what your deal is. That's frustrating to me because I'm not a bargainer. Life Time Athletic Green Valley is my fitness gym in the whole valley of Las Vegas. It has everything you could possibly want out of a membership and then some. It has basketball courts,indoor and outdoor tennis courts, swimming pool indoor and outdoor,salon,spa,daycare, huge fitness gym area,the best trainers in the valley, and so much more. Let me touch on the personal training department as I recommend Alex B. for a trainer as he is upfront,motivating, and very knowledgeable in so many areas. They do have many other trainers that are amazing as well but Alex is one of the best there. If you want group training they have that as well which is more affordable way to help you stay motivated and make you accountable but you just don't get that 1 on 1 personal touch. Las Vegas has all types of gyms and clubs you can join in the valley to cater to everyone's needs but if you want to be a part of something big and that has very high cleaning standards and want to feel good just check our lifetime.
