My teen daughter is enrolled in the EASA program. If you don't know what that is, it's the Early…read moreAssessment and Support Alliance (EASA). They provides support to young people experiencing symptoms of psychosis for the first time. She was diagnosed with Autism, ADHD and PTSD when she was 13. Then about 10 months later she confided in me that she was having overwhelming fears of being watched in places that didn't make sense to me, like our private bathroom at home. Then she would be in bed at trying to sleep and hear someone whispering her name in her ear. Even watching TV or movies was challenging because she would see things that I didn't see like ghoulish faces on characters suddenly appearing then disappearing. We discussed this with the private psychiatric nurse she was already seeing and after determining she had prodromal schizophrenia she referred my daughter to EASA. We first met with Tammy Talbert, the Program Director and she did an assessment or questionnaire with my daughter. It was so validating to my daughter to be able to have questions being asked that confirmed her experiences. Things she hadn't even told me about, like hallucinations that included smell, taste, touch sound and visual. Later we were able to meet with the Occupational therapist Michelle DeOliveira. She's been so helpful figuring out strategies for my daughter to approach the environment around her and feel safer. The mental health therapist David Castleton has such vast experience and great demeanor. He is very approachable and helps solve real world problems. He's definitely an advocate you want on your side. I'm so very grateful for the Lifeworks NW EASA Team and we haven't even met everyone yet. Thank you for your compassionate professional care and support.

My family member hates them and I found out why after one meeting. They take days to return calls then often give wrong answers. Their turnover is infinite and they their pleasantries, it's downhill The good employees leave quickly leaving the least experienced. The state of dealing with mental Illness is hard enough; they will certainly make it harder. They don't know the word "kind," so expect to leave depressed w no help. I hid my tears as I embarrass easily. I gave them two stars. The second star was a gift. Picture tears here!

The Dr treats pain. But, the office is not run well. You can never call and get someone to answer…read more There is 1 Dr, his Asst and a nurse. Yet, 2 receptionist and several more people in the back for ??? You text to get an appointment The Dr sees you then prescribes a treatment. If you get medicine, sometimes it takes weeks to get. You then see the Asst. from then onward. then the receptionist calls to give you another appt 5 weeks later so you're always out of meds a lot. They also make you fill out a daily 4 questionnaire w/o telling you they charge you for this. No one checks this information. In my case they would request from my insurance company for treatments i hadn't agreed to, they charged me for extended appointments when I saw the Asst for less than 10 minutes. I finally told him I was done coming, yet I was charged for 2 more months of visits. I had to file a claim with my insurance company. I finally got the amount I was supposed to pay from over $1,000 to $90. I would avoid this office. The receptionist is nice.

He would not listen, and someone in this field should be better behaved and show empathy, kindness, not an accusatory tone. He certainly thought a lot of himself, was gruff & despicable. His office staff was cordial and friendly, he does not belong there and needs to be fired.

After 2 weeks they never filled my prescription, I called them, the pharmacy, and the insurance, MULTIPLE TIMES. They all told me (not this provider, as they never contracted me back) that they NEVER submitted the pre-authorized it so it wasn't covered. Somehow, it's never their job. The fact is, they prescribed the med and couldn't get it processed for me for 10 days without any communication. There isn't going to be a second appointment, and I wouldn't never trust this place with your mental health if you can help it.

My wife has been having problems finding a therapist and finally got an appointment booked here…read more After spending an entire lunch break on hold just to initially schedule the appointment, she then had to spend a half hour filling out ridiculous amounts of paperwork. Finally, she left work hours early today to come home and be ready for her phone appointment... only to get a call one minute after her appointment was supposed to start, cancelling the appointment. Apparently the doctor didn't feel like doing it. She's now having a bit of a meltdown over how impossible this entire process is, throwing her even deeper into depression and anxiety. So. If that's the experience you're looking for from a therapist, then these guys are right up your alley. If it's not, avoid these "doctors" like the plague. Oh, by the way, their policy is that if you don't give two business days notice before cancelling an appointment, they're gonna charge you $100. We found out today that that policy very much isn't reciprocal.
