Having spent a good part of my life working for departments of neurosurgery 1 thing I do know is that although the work is serious complex, crucial and vital to the patient it should be fun. The other thing I learned is that we all learned at some point the aspects of whatever endeavor each individual has chosen to go into. Often people forget that they may not be experts they may think they and on top of that they forget that they too learned at some point in time. You are polite professional informative and fun. Kudos to LifeSaver CPR! I did my ACLS there recently and was impressed with the professionalism and thoroughness of both staff and instructors. Our instructor was Tonja (in French Camp, CA) and she was excellent. Her class was friendly, informal and very fun. She helped us understand the material and relate it to our individual professions. The last part of the class was going over case studies and examples, and she asked us how we would react and treat the patient in a given scenario. Very helpful. It brought all the elements together and helped us understand the material much better. The ACLS EKG rhythm analysis was a bit tricky but Tonja helped us recognize and correctly identify the most common rhythms. I highly recommend LifeSaver CPR and its instructors. Our instructor was knowledgeable, energetic, and easy to learn from. Creatively, "WhooHoo" was shouted at the end of each memorable lesson. This technique helped us stay awake, involved and remember the topics. She gave us what we needed and bypassed the fluff, which was great because it kept the class alert and involved. Anyone can sit and watch hours of training but the inactive and practical examples was a nice touch. The hands on, real-life scenarios made it more likely to remember the training when an emergency exists. Example: dancing and singing along to the "Staying Alive" musical beat is something the class will remember when its time for CPR in real life. I have taken CPR/First aid several times since starting at my current place of employment. This company has an engaging, informative curriculum that moves right along and stays with you long after the class is completed! I thought the instructor was very personable, tailoring the material to the group and testing us periodically to make sure the topics were hitting the mark. I completed my CPR for HCP course this evening and my instructor, Charles (chuck) Harman was great! in previous cpr classes, i was always bored and lost interested quickly, but chuck was efficient, quick, and a great, enthusiastic learner. it's obvious he totally loves what he does which is refreshing to see. he explained the course in detail and i enjoyed that he brought his real life situations into play. i would definitely recommend taking him to fulfill your CPR class needs! read more

I took a class with LifeSaver CPR to get re-certified for my job. I've taken many CPR/FA classes in the past and this one was by far the most memorable. The instructor is a paramedic with a Bay Area fire department and everything he taught he has experienced so the first-hand teaching was unique. The class was run efficiently and with the personality of the instructor, it was even enjoyable. If you have to take a CPR or First Aid class, I highly recommend LifeSaver CPR. read more

He was very patient also created a very welcoming environment and pushed the class to be and do the best. I would recommend taking this CPR class with Chris Peters! He made it fun and enjoyable, and did a really good job at making sure we were also learning what we needed to know. He would have us repeat out loud important information, and then would give us time to practice on our own, which really helped make the information stick. Chris Peters does a great job as the instructor. He makes the class interesting and fun as you go over all of the different procedures for a number of situations. He annunciates very well and speaks clear and concise. He had high energy and didn't draw on things that were not important. He answered all questions, as well as paused frequently to ensure that everyone understood the information being given. Amazing class! It was my first class and I took it with Volanda and she was absolutely perfect, she was so energetic and so much fun. I went into it thinking that the class would be long and boring but I was pleasantly surprised when it flew by and I actually HAD FUN!
