One thing that really bothered me was how she handled a concern during my appointment. When my nails started burning in the UV lamp, I briefly pulled my hand out and immediately put it back in. I had previously been told that doing this can help stop the burning sensation. Instead of acknowledging that I was in pain, she became upset that I removed my hand. She explained that it could cause bubbling or lifting, which I understand is a possibility. I told her I had only pulled my hand out for a second, that my nails looked fine, and if any lifting occurred later, I would take responsibility. Rather than leaving it at that, she continued arguing with me, looked it up online during my appointment, and insisted on proving she was right. My concern wasn't whether bubbling was possible, it was that my nails were burning. I would never choose to keep my hand in the lamp while it was painful just to avoid a potential issue that might not even happen. I was surprised by the lack of concern for my comfort. I also wasn't impressed with the "Russian manicure." In my experience, it didn't seem any better than a regular manicure and felt like paying more for less. I even asked if the underside of my nails could be cleaned, and she refused, told me I can go wash my nails,, which added to my disappointment. Based on my experience, I would not recommend booking with the daughter. I can't speak for the owner, but I'm hoping the mother provides a better experience since she has more years in the industry.
