The service was super rushed. My nails and toes are super uneven there is debris in the nail color and have bubbles. I came cus I have no other alternative my nail girl is on leave at the moment and I needed to get my nails done. My nails are strong and this lady filed the crap out of them. When I told her about the debris she wanted to remove and file them again I said nope leave them alone. Now I know they are going to break. This is why I don't go just go anywhere to get my nails done. If you arnt getting a high end service to their liking and adding all the add ons which have no prices they just don't care how you leave. Unfortunately I won't be coming back

This nail shop is under new management and let me tell you, it is worth the trip. Extremely friendly staff and the shop was very clean. Vincent did my nails and he did a wonderful job. I did a Gel X set and the Color and shape were exactly what I wanted. Prices are comparable to other shops in the area, but the perk for me was the complimentary Vietnamese Coffee!!!! It was so good! They have other drinks that they offer as well and they all looked amazing. Definitely will return to try the pedicure and get a new set!

So happy with the services here, I got a gel pedicure around a month ago and it still looks nice. Today I got a gel x removal and they did a great job removing the 3D gel nail art without damaging my natural nails. They are very talented at cat eye manis and have a big assortment of colors. I've been looking for a new nail salon near the area for quite a while since Ive had bad experiences. As I checked the hours decided to come in and get nails done here. Service received was amazing both tech work extremely fast and efficient. They offered a complimentary drink, chose Vietnamese coffee and it was pretty good, place is clean and got what I wanted from the start. I'll continue to come and highly recommend to try for yourself.

Sandy was absolutely the best, not only is she talented but she was super fun to talk to and nice. It is so hard to find a nail place that gets everything right but she read my mind.Exactly what I wanted and she took care of my nails and gave me advice on how to take care of them better! *******beware***** sandy does not belong in the nail and service industry!!!!!! greedy and inhumane!!!! do not i repeat do not waste your time here, do not give your money to these people!!!! be careful of surcharges ! there is no sign!!! i came in for a manicure and pedicure, they were soooo nice to me at first. i was super happy and i was already thinking to myself i found a place to get my nails done. to the sweet older lady that did my toes, thank you so much for making the experience relaxing and soothing. the tip was for you!!! sandy does not belong in the nail and service industry. she did my nails, gel x simple french tip. she was friendly at first until a lady asking for donations for a non profit organization came inside and she immediately asked kindly if she would like to donate, sandy couldnt hide her face of disgust under her face mask and immediately said "no" so the lady asked kindly again if she could ask the people inside the business for donations (mind you i was already going to give her some cash) sandy said no and started talking shit in her language, none which the lady could understand. she turned around and wished everyone a blessed day and a happy easter, it was silent. note this alll happened in front of me!!!! i was in disbelief. you do not treat people like that no matter where you stand in life. it cost nothing to be kind. ********beware******** i was ready to pay even after witnessing that. my total was 152.00 which seemed overpriced but i was ok paying, sandy immediately questions if i will be adding a tip, not with a nice attitude but questioning why im not doing it, fine i add a 8.00 tip for the lady that did my toes. my total ends up being 164 dollars. i ask why and she tells me this "gel x gets charged tax acrylic nails no charge tax " mind you there is no sign anywhere that says that. when i asked for the final price she says its one thing and when i paid it was something else! this thief should be ashamed of herself. i repeat beware of this place. dont be fooled by the nice complimentary drink and boujee ambience. they will steal from you!! ***if vs nail lounge is reading this review your footage of this incident so you can understand why your employee should treat people with kindness, language is not a barrier to be a kind decent human being!!! :) read more

I'd definitely give this place 5 stars! The salon is spotless, the nail technicians are incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere is so peaceful and relaxing. It was such a great experience from start to finish. Parking was super easy, which made the visit even better. I absolutely love my nails and will definitely be coming back. My eyes are sensitive either to light or glue so she rinses my lashes after she's done to help from any burning or redness. I think my session was about 1 hr and 30 minutes after discussing which types of lashes I wanted and the pricing. It went by really fast and it was funny to hear the customers next to me snoring bc they were so relaxed. (There was only quiet instrumental music in the background)I wish I remembered the name of the worker who helped me but she was really nice. They were clear with instructions on how to take care of them right after and I experienced very little discomfort throughout the whole process it just took some time to get use to the lashes. They give you a lash brush at the end as well. Overall I would recommend.

Overall, I'm not pleased with how the lashes look - I'm so disappointed and cannot wait for my next lash fill with my typical technician who I appreciate so much more now!! Basically the lashes look how my natural lashes would look with mascara - for $100. I began by requesting for a specific curl and they only had limited curl options. The glue they use makes your eye sting. I've never ever had my eyes sting with the other technicians I've gone to before. Then she's asking me to open my eyes to check out the final product, but has the fan on so i cannot - it just felt offputting, nothing special about the service. Didn't feel like an individualized set at all. The technician didn't even introduce herself to me. I recommend folks to go elsewhere, such as my favorite spot called Mouk in Lakewood. A million times better and I have never been disappointed. My two week fill with Mouk cannot come soon enough! @tony Q - please contact me as I am interested in a refund. I had the 9am appt on 6/13.

The technician informed me that the dermabrasion would be too much exfoliation since the derma plane is exfoliating as well. However, she still recommended doing a chemical peel and because I'm not that educated in skin treatments I proceeded with her recommendation. About a week later after my facial, I I noticed 2 burn marks on my face, which I assumed were from the chemical peel. While one healed, one has still not gone away, and this is a facial I received late in December 2025. I went back a month later and asked the technician(different one) what the mark was. She said it was like acne post mark because of too much exfoliation with both the dermaplane and chemical peel . She said it should fade away and recommended me one of their expensive skin resurfacing products. I did not buy it and this was my last visit here. 3 months later, I still have this mark on my face so I have an appointment with the dermatologist soon. I would still recommend this place for maybe the basic $70 facial, it's pretty cheap and worth the money. I do not recommend any other special services because it seems some of the technicians may not be as educated and it's not worth messing up your skin.

Unfortunately, after multiple experiences at Miss Kawaii Lashes, I feel like I need to share my experience. I had my lashes done there several times, and every single time I ended up having to go back to have them fixed. My most recent experience was by far the worst. The lashes were extremely uncomfortable, actually painful, and were falling out in chunks. I ended up spending approximately six hours over two days going back and trying to get them corrected. At that point, I decided to go somewhere else. I went to another lash studio, and the difference was incredible. It was a little more expensive, but the experience and quality were absolutely worth it. I understand that things can happen, and I gave Miss Kawaii multiple opportunities to make things right. Unfortunately, after repeatedly having the same issue, I can't recommend the service based on my personal experience. Zero stars from me.

I went in with my friend, she got a pedicure and i was waiting on her with my 1 year old son. My son was walking and the nail lady doing my friends pedicure kept telling my son to be careful and then i finally said, "hes being careful" as soon as I said that she started speaking in another language, chinese or Japanese to her co workers, thought that was very obvious she was speaking of me and found it very rude. My son kept walking and another lady got up to grab something and told my son to be careful by this time i was really annoyed, so i said " hes just walking, im watching him" remember i was just there to accompany my friend, all my attention was on my son, i wasnt going to let my son grab or touch things he shouldnt be touching. The nail salon is kept clean and looks nice, its only 4 min away from my home , i recently moved to whittier 1 month ago, i came from long beach, but of course i would never do my nails there, if kids are not allowed then say so. read more

My mom recommended this place for a while but i didn't have a chance to try. Yesterday I needed to get my nails and pedicure done for the long Memorial's weekend so i tried. This place has many gel colors and matching regular polish for my toes, which i like a lot. Prices are very reasonable. My pedicure girl is very friendly and gave awesome massage. I went to VS Nail Salon in Whittier and had my nails done by Vincent -- he absolutely killed it. The shape, the shine, the color... everything came out perfect. He took his time, paid attention to every detail, and made sure I was happy with the final look. You can tell he really cares about his work. I could be wrong. Anyway he was filing my nails and on my right hand middle finger he burned my nail and it hurt but didn't think anything of it. So he finished my nails and I was not really happy with them but I didn't want to say anything. So two days past and I noticed my nail on my middle finger started burning and the cuticle around my nail was so red. I started to get a bit worried because I never had this happen. I soaked my nail and little by little taking the nail off and when it did come off I saw that it had what looked like fungus. I was so upset so I soaked all my nails off to see if any of my other nails had it but thank goodness they didn't. I had to go to the urgent care because I was in a lot of pain with my finger and the urgent care dr prescribed me antibiotic and for me to see my primary care doctor who prescribed me lamisil. She also is sending me to a dermatologist. I don't think I will ever go back in that nail place again. Doctor said his nail drill and file may have been dirty. I know the man who did my nails had only did pedicures when I gone in there but this was the first time that I ever seen him do nails. Im worried because I'm a diabetic and it's going to be awhile before my nail grows in. I been doing my nails for over 20 years and I never had this happen.
