Front Desk: Not so much. / / / A tooth being watched flared up and needed to be pulled as I was having pain. Which later had an implant to replace it. I called the office early and the lady said it will be 2 weeks before we can see you- sorry. And I was clear in what was happening. Again she said sorry. Hummm, so you just told me you wanted me to wait 2 weeks with tooth pain---for someone who was suppose to be my regular dentist? / Moral to the story---it doesn't matter how great a dentist is---if the front staff will not help in an emergency or your office has short hours--well you get the idea. I found another dentist closer to my home who saw me same day who treated me with empathy and urgency. Maybe the front staff has changed since then. What a shame when customer service doesn't cost a penny.

Keegan at the front desk was great from booking my appointment to check-in and walking me through the insurance process. Kammy took care of me from X-rays to cleaning and was fantastic, friendly, and professional, making the experience very comfortable. Kelly West was very informative and explained everything clearly, which I really appreciated. Communication overall was excellent. Also told me that me that my brothers insurance was accepted and after 8 months and 5 separate visits, received a surprise bill and told they do not accept his insurance. Told me some bs about how it took awhile to fax over insurance information from provider. Never received one call from the non existent office manager. Dr. Young is great but will not be retuning after multiple problems with his front desk staff who only know how to swipe cards and setup appointment. We stopped coming to this office after a few mishaps with our care and the general experience with…read morethe office staff. We had started coming in 2020 and were initially impressed with the thoroughness of the exam and kindness of the clinical staff. The dental hygienist was especially kind and helpful in explaining everything she was doing or recommending. That said, the end of the visit was off-putting. After the cleaning, x-rays, and exam, they ushered me into a room to discuss recommended treatments and payment. My husband was recommended veneers and other dental work to total over $11,000 after insurance. We declined most of what they recommended with the exception of the root canal. Looking back, we should have gone to an endodontist for his root canal, but Dr. Walia represented that she could complete it in the office. I drove my husband to the appointment, which ended up taking 4.5 hours after they initially told me 2. I took him home with a temporary crown, which fell off shortly after arriving home despite following the strict instructions to not introduce solids for a few hours. Upon going to a new dental practice, we were informed that the initial root canal was improperly done and needed further evaluation by an endodontist. Our last visit to this practice was in 2022 after we had an incident with billing and noticed the high turnover of staff at this location. In 2023, I received a bill from the practice despite not receiving care for almost one year. The bill was from 2021. I called the office who informed me that they had "forgotten" to submit to insurance and had attempted to file with the insurance carrier we had provided (United) in 2022. I informed them that the care I was being billed for occurred in 2021 and we had a different insurer at that time (Cigna), so United would likely deny the claim. The office staff attempted to tell me I'd need to still pay the bill or it would be sent to collections despite the care being performed 2 years prior and not going through the proper channels of filing with insurance. I had paid the coinsurance amounts due at the time of service and had receipts proving this information. They finally dropped the billing, but it definitely left a sour taste in my mouth and frankly, felt fraudulent. We will not come back to this office due to the lack of organization and poorly done root canal. I strongly feel that we should have been referred to an endodontist for this procedure, but am concerned this was not done in order to generate more money for the practice. I would caution others from receiving care here.
