During the procedure, she consistently checked on me to make sure I was comfortable and not in pain. Her care and attention truly made a difference. She did an amazing job getting a very stubborn tooth out, and I felt such relief once it was finally completed. Her assistant was also incredibly supportive and comforting, working seamlessly alongside Dr. Nouri the entire time. After the procedure, I was sent home with antibiotics and pain relief medication, along with clear instructions. At my follow-up appointment, Dr. Nouri carefully checked my healing, smoothed out part of the bone graft area, and made sure everything was progressing well. She took the time to explain everything in detail and genuinely cared about how I was feeling. The entire staff was warm, welcoming, and professional. They even found a charm that had fallen off in the chair and kindly texted me to ask if it was mine, letting me know they would safely hold onto it for me. That level of thoughtfulness meant a lot. At one point she jammed it so hard into my mouth the longer end of mouthpiece struck my throat and caused an automatic gag reaction. My family members also experienced discomfort and rudeness from the same person. Dr. Nouri was not a lot better. Her way of gum probing is to stab the tool quite hard and deeply. My gums bled and were sore for a week. I never experienced this in all the years that I have had multiple dentists and periodontists check up on me. Her opinion was that I had serious gum issues, unheard of for me. I went to see a specialist for a second opinion after my gums stopped bleeding from Dr. Nouri. The specialist discovered that my gums were fine and healthy. And my gums did not bleed afterwards.

I just had 2 small cavities taken care of yesterday and I went in there with such ease knowing I was in good hands based on my previous experience with Dr. Akkari. Once again, the whole process was completely pain free and I was out of there in less than an hour (the procedure itself was at most 15 minutes). Also, I cant understand why there are a few negative reviews about their receptionists. Rita has always been super sweet & I can't remember the other ladies name but they have always been super polite and helpful with scheduling, rescheduling, checking in & helping me get a referral to an oral surgeon.
