I want to start by saying that I don't get my nails done too often. But when I do, I like to stick with what works (tried & true). When my regular nail salon did not have availability, I branched out and tried Lifetime nails and spa. I called ahead to check if they would accept a walk-in. They were very accommodating over the phone and in-person. The atmosphere was friendly and welcoming right away. Technicians were adept and quickly worked with you to find the right fit. I got the gel manicure and was very happy with how it turned out (photo attached!). The color was Pearl Pink (081) by DND and I think it looks especially good with my medium-tan skin tone! Will definitely be making this the new tried and true. read more

I would not recommend this place for brow waxing. A few other moms that I met at Plymouth Lifetime said they had a good experience so maybe it was just an off day for the tech? I personally only decided to use the salon for a brow wax because I didn't have time to find a babysitter and one of the benefits of LifeTime is using KidsAcademy while I use their amenities. It was super dark in the room so I'm not surprised that my brows came out uneven. I only wanted to clean up my brows and tint them, but after seeing how bad my brows were I canceled the tint. The tech also waxed off my skin so now I have scabs under my brows/right above my eyelids. 2 stars because the staff were very nice. read more

I have been doing my nails at home because I no longer go into nail salons. I decided to give them another chance today. My nails were the longest they have ever been and so healthy and I asked several times for her to keep them long. She instantly cut them all off and so that short they hurt. The service for a gel manicure is $25 as she told me. Every single time I put my card in they charge me $6 extra. I was furious and she could tell and even asked "want to add a little something for me?" No. I am no longer supporting any nail salon. read more

Poor job. All uneven. And didn't have time to redo it. I tried. For first time in new salon for me really bad experience.

Made two appointments (called ahead) and we waited 20 minutes to have one of us seated (the other was my niece who is 8) and she has to wait. They seated her finally 45 minutes after our appointment time. Other people came and got seated but they made us wait. You'd think they would have had two chairs together. They also hurried on the service and barely removed the rough skin on my feet. I'm a regular here but I think I'll look elsewhere as this left a bad impression. Why call ahead for appointments if they don't respect them?! They usually do great work. I think they need to slow down and still take the time they usually do even when they are busy. read more

I had a 1:00 appointment for pedi/mani and was finally started at 1:25. The water was warmish and then tepid the rest of the time. What really bothered me is she pulled out toe separators from her drawer, and they weren't in a plastic or hooked together, and after she finished with me she threw them back in her drawer and shut it. The tools we're in a blue plastic box, and there was no indication that they were sanitized. I went in with nails ¼" over the tip of my fingers and wanted a gel french manicure. She cut my nails to the quick, and 2 bled, and are painful. I switched to a light pink as a French mani would have looked ridiculous, and I didn't want attention drawn to my nails at this s point, they're hideous! read more

My mom has been to this place two times. The first time she went an hour before they closed. The manicure was very nice, but while she had her hand in the hand dryer, they turned the lights off. There were still 10 minutes before they closed!! The second time, they cut her cuticle so bad she started bleeding. Her hand still hasn't healed after two weeks due to her diabetes. read more

I would not recommend this specific Lifetime spa, though admittedly it was only one poor experience there. $50 for a gel manicure that lasted thirty minutes and did not even include lotion on my hands at the end. I know this isn't the expectation for Lifetime though as I have had great experiences at my local Lifetime Spa back home in Illinois. My nails looked fine at the end, no complaints there however the gel was peeling off after ten days. Mainly I just feel there was no value in this experience and there are others locally that are cheaper with a much higher value (better experience during and longer lasting). I would recommend trying one of those. read more

I was in today for a regular mani. The staff was polite and fit me in, and they were quite busy. My 6 yr old was with me, on his tablet, well behaved. They were accommodating to him to sit next to me. My only complaint is I can see a few air bubbles in polish, but no big deal. read more

Just visited this salon and thought overall it was clean and the people were friendly. I was getting a regular mani. When they were applying the top coat I noticed they did different too coats on each hand. After being under the fans drying for nearly 20 minutes, I left. One hand was completely dry while the other was sticky. I got home about 30 minutes later and everything I touch stuck to my hands. So I had to scrub my nails and reapply my own polish and top coat. That left me slightly annoyed. Don't use whatever top coat you used on my hand on others. Not sure if I'll pop back in. read more

I went here since it was close to my house, and a girlfriend of mine recommended it. I didn't see great reviews online, but I took the plunge anyways. Many of the employees are very average in skill, but Rose is AMAZING! My coffin nails always look smooth and perfectly shaped, which is definitely not always the case for many places I've tried. I highly recommend her, especially if you're into trendy shapes that actually end up looking like the nail inspiration pictures on Instagram. Thank me later. read more

Honestly, i can say that this is one of the best nail salons I have ever been to.... I have frequented this particular salon at least 9 times and they have always done an amazing job with a gel manicure and /or pedicure. I love the way the shape my nails and the gel generally lasts 3 weeks. They are a bit more expensive than some other salons, however, I am always pleased. read more

I called the evening after getting my nails done because I was extremely disappointed with how they looked, especially because they never asked me if I liked the length or shape before they starting painting my acrylics. I came in the next day and this is what I experienced: I'm annoyed because I called and made a 1:45 appt yesterday... I came in and the lady told me that i would have to pay if i didn't go to the back of the wait line. Then she told me that i should've told her yesterday before she put on the color (but she didn't even let me look at them??) because now it's an inconvenience. I switched to this nail salon a few months ago from another nearby salon. Lifetime has been updated and is clean, relaxing and amazing. After doing walk-ins with different nail technicians here, I have found Joey. She does a GREAT job with both my mani and pedi, and is as nice as can be. I stopped by here on a whim on my way home from work after a stressful day. Sofia took great care of me! I started with a gel manicure and she was meticulous with the cuticle clipper to make everything look just perfect. The hand/arm massage was unexpected and amazing! We then moved to a pedicure and, again, I was amazed at the massage! I was in Vegas a couple weeks ago and put on many miles in sandals, so my feet were rough. They feel so wonderful right now. I can't forget to mention the prices - this was 2/3 the amount that I paid at a place three weeks ago, and I preferred Lifetime! I'll definitely be going back! read more

Horrible service. It was my first time there. I asked for a full set acrylic nails, which was $25.99 with a coupon I found on their website. They simply told me to choose a nail color and sit down. While getting my nails done, we discussed about the price and all was good. When she finished, I expected to only pay $25.99. The employee said that the price of the service ranked up to $40.00 because they used a special gel nail polish which added an extra $15.00. I felt like I was scammed and there was no way of sorting out the issue. She definitely knew what she was doing. Previous nail salons, I've always been told the different prices of the nail polishes before beginning the service. I ended up paying that ridiculously price for mediocre service. If I could give this nail salon zero stars, I would. Definitely never going back there again. read more

I saw Great reviews on Yelp so I booked an appointment with Sofia for a gel fill & pedicure & I'm very Pleased! I am picky & since the nail tech I went to for the last 5yrs is gone to another state I figured I'd give Lifetime Nails & Sofia a chance. Happy I did, Sofia does truly have awesome attention to detail from my cuticles to the shape of my nails & they look Beautiful! She also performed an amazing pedicure & has strong hands for the massage & got rid of the roughness on the bottom of my feet & heels! Thanks to her I'm Good to Go! I will be back! read more
