My finance was able to find Sherwin and called him and he said he would be able to fix it THAT DAY! We got a tow truck to take us to his shop and he drove all the way to tillamook to pick up a battery and alternator for my car and once he got back he worked on it for a couple of hours and got everything back up and even noticed my oil was low and put more oil in my car. He was super sweet to us and even helped a handful of other people who had a flat tire while we were there. Not to mention it was Sunday morning when we had called him and he was in the middle of his breakfast and stopped to help us out along with other people who came across him. Something was wrong with my starter, which I had never heard of, so he popped the hood to show me. Even though he did not know where the starter was in the make and model of my car he helped me look for it and explained what it did. I think car repair companies get a lot of negative reviews on Yelp because, frankly, repairing cars is expensive and it's easy to feel crummy! My daughter had a rollover accident in her 1989 Ford F250 on a gravel road near the gun range in…read moreLincoln City. Thankfully, she was not injured. I have AAA, but they were not able to tow the car as it was too far down the steep embankment and was now classified as a recovery or extraction. I called Car Care Pro Tow to see if they could extract and tow it the day after the incident, and they did. Within an hour after calling, they had signage to close the road for the tow vehicle and flatbed, and to keep everyone safe. Four to five people were working on getting the truck pulled up the embankment (some came to help on their day off). The steering linkage was broken, which made it very difficult to maneuver the truck. They eventually got it pulled up the embankment and onto a flatbed, and then they towed it to my place in Pacific City. The space to pull in and out of the driveway was limited so they could not get the truck backed in straight right away. I requested that they try to get it straight in as much as possible. They spent a good 30-60 min using a crowbar to get the wheels to turn since the steering was broken, and they did eventually get it straight in. And, they did not create more damage to the truck during any part of the extraction, tow, or in parking it. I am so impressed with everyone's tenacity, strength, skill, and professionalism before, during, and after the vehicle extraction and tow. I highly recommend Car Care Pro Tow to anyone needing their services.
