Over the weekend me and my fiancé went to pacific city for a getaway and on our way back from our…read morehike my car died. my battery AND alternator were both shot and we were stranded on the side of the highway and everywhere around us was closed with no way to get my car home. My finance was able to find Sherwin and called him and he said he would be able to fix it THAT DAY! We got a tow truck to take us to his shop and he drove all the way to tillamook to pick up a battery and alternator for my car and once he got back he worked on it for a couple of hours and got everything back up and even noticed my oil was low and put more oil in my car. He was super sweet to us and even helped a handful of other people who had a flat tire while we were there. Not to mention it was Sunday morning when we had called him and he was in the middle of his breakfast and stopped to help us out along with other people who came across him. While four other auto service departments in Tillamook would not even talk to me, Jacob at 24/7 not only took the time to look at my car but realized it was just a fuse and replaced it in under 5 mins at no charge. As a single woman with her dog coming in with absolutely no clue what was wrong with the air conditioner, I could've easily gotten taken advantage of and I had completely expected to pay a lot of money to get the air conditioner running before heading home. Something was wrong with my starter, which I had never heard of, so he popped the hood to show me. Even though he did not know where the starter was in the make and model of my car he helped me look for it and explained what it did. I think car repair companies get a lot of negative reviews on Yelp because, frankly, repairing cars is expensive and it's easy to feel crummy! Don't let the less than perfect score on Yelp deter you, it seemed to me that the workers of Bob's Auto Repair are honest and considerate.
