Excellent service and the best crab cake sandwich I have had in a long time. No filling, just big chunks of lump crab meat.

Just ate her for the first time. A friend came from Baltimore and we had lunch. I am a foodie and so is he. We were thoroughly impressed.

Cool place, nice atmosphere & ambiance. I like the history behind it and their mission. Food was average and portions were on the smaller side. I had the salmon, which wasn't bad but not too filling. The Lighthouse Bistro is a social enterprise helping the homeless. The menu is condensed. We were there on a busy Saturday night which was also their 6th day in business. We had the salmon and quinoa, cauliflower Mac & cheese as well as the arugula & roasted beet salad with grilled salmon on top. Everything was delicious. I was introduced to Light House Bistro through Annapolis Restaurant Week. My group went for lunch and wasn't disappointed. The burger and fries were absolutely amazing. My friend raved about the crab soup. We loved the inspirational decor. Our server was polite and attentive. It was a bit loud and crowded but what can you expect from a popular place. This turned out to be my favorite brunch in Annapolis. The only hiccup was when I called to make a reservation and had to navigate their automated phone system, but it turned out we would not have needed one after all. The dining room was about half empty at 11 on Saturday, which was a huge surprise given how good the food was. The cocktails we had were solid, service was friendly and helpful, and the chicken and biscuit benny and chicken and waffles were out of this world. They pull their chicken before dipping it in BBQ sauce and frying it, which results in a mountain of juicy, flavorful, and perfectly crispy bites. Everything was great, but the chicken was special. This spot also gets a bonus for having a beautiful dining area that's just far enough off the water to avoid some of the downtown crowds. read more

Awesome! We made reservations for six for 2/1/20. Service was outstanding and everyone loved their food. Parking in garage was super close and easy. The place is not very big but the tables are spaced out right and it's not so loud which was a nice break compared to most brunch spots! The protein scramble is delicious!!! read more

We ate breakfast here on a short visit to Annapolis. I can honestly say it's the best breakfast I've had in years. The staff was so friendly and did a great job recommending menu items. The coffee was hot and strong. The blueberry pancakes were amazing, perfectly cooked, topped with fresh berries and thick whipped cream, and more than I could eat. Bacon was delicious and came exactly as I ordered (crisp - amazing how many places can't manage to get this right). My guy had the egg sandwich. He said it was delicious. It came with a side of the home fries which were some of the best we've had. The decor was charming and there is a great story behind the restaurant conception. The staff all wore masks, the tables were well-distanced, hand sanitizer was available, and there were separate entrance and exit. We felt very comfortable with the precautions. If you are in the area, having breakfast at the Lighthouse Bistro should be at the top of your to-do list! read more

My family enjoyed a delicious brunch here (avocado toast with salmon, eggs Benedict, pulled chicken salad). The service was excellent.

Wait staff was very friendly but the food was bland and plain. I got the avocado toast but have made better ones at home. The toast was dry and the avocado was slightly browning and sliced rather than mashed and seasoned. My celiac boyfriend got the grits, which was a small serving but good. Note, the fryer is not dedicated gluten free despite the fries being marked gf on the menu. read more

Making socially conscious choices while on vacation isn't difficult if you explore options. The Light House Bistro has a great mission and even better food. Great atmosphere, history, and mission and the staff was cool, but the experience was a little flat for me. Food took a long time which may have had to do which timing of turnover from breakfast to lunch, but food was not that great. I had the chefs scramble and the chicken was rubbery and the dish not very inventive. More like nachos with scrambled eggs. Wait staff did not understand or know what the rotating tap was all about, coffee got cold before i got offer for refill. Maybe just an off morning but as I said atmosphere was great. read more

I intended to give it 3 stars with a minus comment, but when saw avg is crazy 4.5 decided a 2 much better to balance the drunk, bleeding heart liberals who were too generous. I went with the best intentions, being an old bleeding heart liberal myself so appreciating the mission and successes of this nonprofit, but alas not drunk. It disappointed despite the nice service and furniture/decor, and some good food. The arugula salad was a huge disappointment, and @ $11 a huge ripoff; it was barely worth $1.00. There was little besides a small portion of scrawny arugula that was short on leaf and long on chewy stem. So this was the outgrowth on mature plants barely surviving in high heat and low rain. I would like to believe that the kitchen recvd less quality and/or quantity than expected that day. Unfortunately they didn't alter the menu so made the patrons pay dearly for crap. Coincidentally, one of us had this salad alone before an entree and another had it with a salmon topping as an entree, but both salads were equally unforgivable. Steak/fries good but not exceptional, and salmon, both alone and on salad very tasty. Unfortunately, the stuff that came with the salmon entree, albeit tasty, did not go well with the fish. Given wood/brick/metal building finishes, it was quite loud despite small size. It is relatively new so hoping they will improve on food. read more

Our group of 9 ladies enjoyed Sunday brunch. Blueberry pancakes were a hit. Also enjoyed chocolate raspberry pancakes and omelettes. Service was good. They were extremely busy, but worked hard to get everyone's meals out. Prices reasonable. Would return. read more

I'm proud to be a regular patron of Light House and support its mission of breaking the cycle of homelessness. I work right down the street from the Bistro and come in at least once a week for an iced coffee or nitro brew. The staff is extremely friendly. Went for dinner tonight. Loved how we were greeted the second we walked in the door. The place was very cozy inside and all the staff seemed extremely friendly and eager to do a good job. The food was delicious, and our waiter was fantastic. I got the chicken salad with quinoa and my friend got the meatloaf. Although my salad was delicious... I will be getting the meatloaf next time, it was on point! All in all I would recommend this place to anyone. read more

I arrived Sat. at 7PM. I asked if there was a table for 2 and was told no. He didn't say anything else but stared at us, not offering a later time. The reviews who say you get a cold greeting are correct. We turned and walked out going elsewhere. I'll never return. read more

The best food I've ever eaten in my 19 years of living, it was amazing! The Crispy Chicken and Coconut Risotto is a must try.
