Chefs, special, blueberry dessert - delicious!
    John J.

The restaurant is in a former bowling Alley, hence the name. Lots of dark wood and the first thing you see is the bar. It was lunch time, so we were not quite ready for a cocktail. Booths were comfortable and service by Amelia was definitely getting an A for effort. My wife had the French Dip and it was delicious, as were the accompanying French fries. I had the Chicken BLT with homemade chips. The sandwich was cooked fine, but I was frankly disappointed with the taste. I would not order it again, although the homemade chips were great. The French Dip is highly recommended to try. Our server tempted us with the Chef's special dessert. It was a French pastry filled with fresh blueberries with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. It was delicious!!

Food and ambiance excellent. Quality of service staff is so so. Fairly priced. Need a better wine cellar.

They melt in your mouth and have you craving more. Even my 12 month old enjoyed it lol the chicken and sage sausage is like nothing I've ever tried, so savory and juicy. I can't wait to go back soon. I made a takeout order and got the crab cake omelette (w/ a biscuit) $18.29, legendary scone: Blueberry $3, single blueberry pancake $2.89, single maple bacon pancake $2.89, and single cinnamon roll pancake $2.89. - The crab cake omelet was my 2nd favorite as they surprisingly didn't skimp on the crab additions. The biscuit was just alright, but luckily it's best once combined with omlette to make a good sandwich. - The blueberry scone was probably my favorite, as it was pretty good. It was moist, fresh, and well done. - The trifecta of pancakes ranged from just okay to decent, and my ranking would go blueberry, maple bacon, and then cinnamon roll. For some odd reason, the texture of the cinnamon roll pancake was notably inferior to the other 2. Overall, my experience was quite a good one due to the scone and crab omelet delivering the most. -- #issa.cheatday

I've never had a long wait, either to order or for the food to come out, which is always appreciated. The staff has been consistently friendly, and the space itself is clean and well kept. High-top tables, good lighting, moderate noise level--everything feels in order whenever I'm there. Food-wise, Regional keeps things simple, and that's what I like about it. The Cubano sticks to the script and does it right. You really can't lose with it--good flavor, balanced, and just a solid sandwich overall. The smashburger is another no-frills win. Fresh beef, fresh ingredients, and everything complements each other without trying too hard. It's just done right. The cheesesteak isn't something I'd call a true Philly, but in a pinch it definitely holds you down. The meat is seasoned well, with onions, mushrooms, and cheese coming together for an enjoyable sandwich. I appreciate that Regional doesn't overcomplicate things. My only real critique was the roasted potato salad. I paid $3 for a cup, and while it tasted good, there was lettuce stuffed at the bottom to make it look fuller than it was. That rubbed me the wrong way, so I wouldn't order it again. Portion sizes overall are fair, prices feel reasonable, and I like that there's something for everyone on the menu. I've already been back multiple times and will continue to return. It's a good spot when you want to get away from all the fast-food options in the area.

It's large so she generally eats half at a time. Her leftovers are in the photo below. I had then Philly Mushroom today and I ate the entire thing! Yes, I overdid it Big Time! My side was the potato salad. It's actually red potato salad with the right amount of sweetness and not drowned in mayo! In fact it seems like a ground mustard aioli. I'm not sure but it's really good. They now have chicken wings with a variety of sauces to choose from. Of course I had to order smash burgers for my family at home. Do yourself a favor and try Region Ale if you haven't.

Lot's of mayo with very little celery. It was also lacking flavor. I wouldn't order that again. I was satisfied with the lobster grilled cheese on texas toast. Very good with the right amount of lobster. This was all ordered online and pre-paid. Parking could be a challenge. Luckily we came on a Sunday so it was less of a crowd. Found a spot to quickly pull behind just to pick up the food. Annapolis is a busy area. Especially on a Friday or Saturday. Just make sure if you order to go. That you pre-check your order. They were missing my chips but corrected the order immediately. So 3.5 for this visit and definitely would return for my lobster grilled cheese or the Connecticut Lobster Roll.

In addition to the lobster rolls there's several sides available. Complementary self-serve water is available. I like that the restaurant staff carefully prepares your order, not just slapping things together, even though that takes a bit of time. I ordered the Classical Lobster Roll. It was perfection and so delish. Served in a tasty lightly toasted and buttered bun. The hefty lobster serving comes with a dash of mayo. I'll be back again and again for Mason's lobster rolls. Love 'em!

That restlessness works in its favor. The space is compact, almost disarming at first. Then it settles around you. There is a quiet intimacy to the room, the kind that feels less designed and more lived in. It leans closer to a welcoming home than a polished dining room, without losing its sense of purpose. The food carries that same balance. Thoughtful, seasonal, and just unpredictable enough to keep you paying attention. Cocktails follow suit, measured and deliberate, never an afterthought. For Annapolis, where good options are not exactly rare, this place still manages to separate itself. It belongs firmly in the top tier of the city's dining scene, and it earns that position every time it changes the menu and starts over again.

Overall, everything was pretty good and I would visit again to try other items on their menu.
