At the hospital they told me give it a few weeks and I would be better it was just soft tissue damage. I made an appointment with my orthopedic surgeon to check out the hardware in my leg and hip as I have a bone transplanted. From the time of the accident to the appointment my back just got worse and my neck had no improvement. Once my surgeon checked all the X-rays and was sure the bones and hardware were fine he handed my a post it with Dr. Barone's name and number on it and said He would send a formal referral over to Dr Barone for me. From the scheduling, paperwork, email reminders and the friendly and efficient staff this office is spot on. After the intake appointment and meeting Dr Barone I knew I was in the right place. The Doc is easy to talk to, keyed right in on the things an injury like this affects and made a plan. I have begun the treatment phase and am getting immediate results. I was getting worried as prior to being sent to Dr Barone the other doctors at the hospital on two different visits made it sound like soft tissue injuries will just away in a few weeks and mine was getting worse. I have been to chiropractors before but not like this one, he operates at a much higher and deeper level. Do yourself a favor and make an appointment.

You can have a certain amount of treatments. My problem is I travel so I'm not always around and I Don't Know if it's worth it for me or not, but it might be for you. I went to Candice because I twisted my knee on the dance floor and a couple weeks later I injured it again. I could barely walk up and down the stairs and could not walk any distance at all without throbbing pain. When I went in to see Candice, she really gets to know you and asks you all kinds of questions including taking a personality test. My pain level when I hobbled in the first time was an 8 and when I left that day, I could already feel improvement. When I went back a couple days later, my pain level was a 4. After a bad foot fracture and six months walking around with a boot on, my body was out of alignment and the foot still healing slowly. I had been in a head on collision and treated by several other Drs as well as a year of physical therapy and pain management. I was told the daily pain and movement limitations were just how my life was going to be post accident. I had given up. After driving by his sign daily, something told me to go in and give him a try. I am so, so, so thankful I did. He did what other Drs and therapists could not do. Yes, I still stretch and do yoga as maintenance after my accident but I absolutely do not wake up with the pain I WAS TOLD by other medical professionals was permanent. I experienced immediate relief after our first session but understand he is literally moving your displaced bones and cartilage back into place, real healing takes time. There may be sessions that initially make you feel even more out of whack while your body adjusts back to normal and settles, nothing is a miracle cure, you have to put in some effort.
