To me, she still sounded amazing and looked amazing. She mentioned to the audience that she is 82 years old and honestly, it doesn't show. We have been to the mountain winery many times over the years for other concerts. Every new year they release a schedule of the upcoming concerts series. This venue is unique because it's small and more intimate. Every seat has an amazing view of the stage. They do have wine tasting tours on Saturdays. You can also purchase wine to enjoy during the concerts. They have several options for food. You can reserve a table at the Chateau La Cresta. The is a fine dining experience and offers guests a full sit-down 3-course meal, overlooking the breathtaking views of the valley. We have been to the Chateau La Cresta several times when we opted for the dinner and a show. The food is usually very good. The views from the Chateau deck are amazing. The last time we ate at to the Chateau was to see Daryl Hall, and our meal wasn't the best. All the other times we've had a meal here have been very good. Parking can get sparse the later you arrive. I recommend coming at least an hour before the event, especially if you need ADA parking. Getting out of the parking lot, after concert, gets very congested. They do have attendance handling the parking traffic, which helps. It can get chilly in the evening, so I recommend wearing layers or being a light jacket or sweater. Some people even bring blankets. I'm looking forward to see what the 2027 concert series has to offer. We will definitely be back next year.

The grounds are gorgeous -- towering redwoods, beautiful lighting, huge wine barrels, and incredible views out over Silicon Valley. There are all these tucked-away little areas to wander, grab a drink, and hang out, which makes the whole place feel like a thoughtfully curated experience rather than just a concert venue. The venue itself is huge, and nothing felt crowded or corporate. The aisles were clean and spacious, there were plenty of bars, plus wine, champagne, and beer carts circulating through the venue. The bar menu also had actual food, not just snacks. Restrooms were clean, parking was easy for us, and we were able to park surprisingly close to the entrance. Every single person we interacted with -- security, bartenders, and other staff -- was genuinely friendly and helpful. People went above and beyond to show us around, explain the different areas, and recommend good spots to hang out. The crowd and programming felt very Bay Area, right down to an MC who clearly knew his audience. Combined with perfect weather and barely any wind, it was just an incredible night. I'll definitely be watching their calendar for more shows that fit my vibe and would love to come back for a daytime wine tasting too. The Mountain Winery is a magical place, and I really hope they maintain this level of experience for years to come.

We brought him a few different first dance song ideas and he helped us narrow down which he would think would work the best. He put together a beautiful choreography for our romantic love song that we selected for our dance. Tommy was very accommodating to the changes and constraints we had along the learning process. After a few practices we learned that my train would be dragging on the ground even when bustled, which made walking backwards in any part of the choreography not feasible. Tommy helped us determine alternative choreography that got around this issue relatively easily. We learned the two and half minute choreography over six 45-minute sessions. He was very fun to work with and very good at teaching the steps, as well as helping us fine tune the movements to make it look as good as possible. Would highly recommend using Tommy from Starlight as your wedding first dance choreographer!

The wings are really good and crispy, and I always enjoy the garlic fries too. The bartenders are friendly and attentive. My husband and I have already come here about twice this week, and it's probably going to become one of our regular happy hour spots. If you're a beer drinker, I'd recommend checking it out. Just keep in mind they're closed on Mondays. It's also a nice place to stop for a few drinks before heading to one of the neighboring restaurants for a relaxing way to unwind after a long day at work.

Unfortunately, with the new pricing, I don't feel like it's as good of a value anymore. A 20% discount just doesn't compare to the old happy hour prices, especially when before wells cocktails were around $7 and beers for $5. With the current pricing at Cedar Room, I'm now walking out spending close to $100, compared to the $40-$50 I would normally spend before. I really like Cedar Room and have enjoyed coming here regularly, which is why it's disappointing to see the happy hour change this way. At these prices, I'm honestly not sure how often I'll be coming back. I hope they reconsider the happy hour pricing because I'd love to keep supporting a place I've enjoyed.

My husband and I had a baby free night out to celebrate my birthday and haberdasher did not disappoint. We went soon after opening so there was no line but I know they tend to have one later in the evening. We were greeted warmly at the door by the attendant who checked our ids. I was even wished a happy early birthday. When going into the bar, you walk down a staircase into a space that makes you forget you're in downtown San Jose with beautiful reds and burgundy decor. The staff is all smartly dressed; the bartender and bar back were both sweet and funny. I ordered a jack rose (my all time favorite), their seasonal watermelon waltz (this may be a new favorite for me, nice and refreshing) and one of their zero proof cocktails called a Mariposa which was soooo good as well. My husband ordered a couple old fashioned and a watermelon waltz for himself. We had an amazing time and look forward to coming back in the future.

Anyway, I met up with some friends here last weekend and we had a reservation at Alter Ego. I guess it's technically 2 places with Still OG. I have to say, I have really fond memories of Original Gravity from back in the day (ah, the days of my youth...) so it's nice that it's still sort of around though.. technically completely different since there's no more craft beer or duck fat fries lol. We hung out at our table for the whole night, like 4 hours. We all ordered cocktails off the menu and later on ordered some stuff off the menu based on the bartender's suggestion. I first ordered a Calabrian Spritz from the menu which hit the spot for me. Personally, I am not a hard alcohol fan but I enjoy wine and fun lil cocktails that are slightly sweet/not super strong lol. So this drink was nice because it wasn't too sweet and had a lot of volume (I like just sipping on stuff in general and it sucks when you order a cocktail that's like 3 sips of liquid and the rest is ice). The next cocktail I ordered was off the menu and called Like This or That (I think). I think it was some sort of passionfruit + vodka mix and very delicious! We also ordered the cold soba noodles and fries. Fries were crinkle cut and nicely crispy, no complaints. Soba noodles were also good, though some component of it was really spicy, I think the cucumbers. Overall I had a good time here and look forward to coming back, though given how little I go out, who knows when that will be haha.
