What's not to like about that? Such great people watching, staff who remembers your face (but never a name---this place is pretty packed on weekends). You come here for the live music (and yes, you're gonna pay a club cover, but how else do you think DJ's or musicians get paid), and you'll stay for the azz twerkable DJ sets. I'm always fond of DJ Jason Dee or David. Yes, I'm going to dance. And if you've ever wondered if you could pull a cougar, well then wonder no more. My friend and I went here this past Saturday night. They had a band playing, and there was a cover charge of $10 per person. It's not too bad. The band sounded great, and I like the light sign of "Alcohol You Later." Hahaha The place was very crowded with people of mix ages from 20s & up. There's also a balcony area if you want to get some fresh air, but there are people out there smoking so that's not pleasant. I like how they have a water dispenser area with cups so that people can get water whenever they want. Parking was okay. I had to drive a couple blocks away until I found a spot. read more

My friend and I luckily found this wonderful night club with a great bar, fantastic service and fantastic live music. All the people I've met there are fun people who are there to have a good time with zero trouble. Plus it attracts people from all age groups, from the 20s all the way to some in their late 70s. Quite a large space with a few seats at the bar, a few near the windows and a larger seating area at the back and front corner (which was reserved for a birthday group) Decore is great, strobe lit guitars, signs and a huge lit 3D tiger head lol. Even the bar menus are back lit which is a great touch. Band came on at 9 but the DJ was great Anna played 80s before and great dance stuff in between sets. Sets lasted about 45 mins with 15-30 mins of DJ in between. I did wonder if the DJ was a teacher in the daytime lololol but he was really enjoying himself and taking energy from the crowd loving his mixing! We danced from 8.30 until about 10.30 with enough space to dance (I need a lot) but then it did become crowded) we moved outside to the fantastic balcony and danced out there alone though assume that would be too busy in summer. Band sat night were really good, and my fave thing was the huge water tower with cups by the front door, that touch in itself for me (don't like to drink and dance or drive lol) was icing on the cake. Now mountain Charley's has stopped dancing we are losing places to go so this is def my new fave and I almost don't want to leave a good review as want my dancing space but They def deserve it! read more

This wasn't our first choice for late night drinks in Los Gatos, but there were limited options in the area this past Saturday due to private events and business closures. So we ended up at Number 1 Broadway, paid the $10 cover, and enjoyed a couple drinks while listening to 80's and 90's rock, rnb, and house music. My bf and I enjoyed our time together here, even if nothing too impressive or extraordinary. We received great service and decent drinks (probably cuz there were like a million bartenders and staff available). And even the crowd is friendly here, though there weren't a lot of people inside when we arrived (around 9:30pm). Later into the night, the place got a little more packed, with people of all ages on the dance floor (from twenty somethings to what looked like senior citizens). We didn't stay long, but it was a cool stop on a Saturday night for music and drinks. Just be aware, it's more of a club atmosphere, I guess that's what you get in Los Gatos. read more

This place has really come alive. Great job to the owners for turning this around! The transformation from the old bar to the new more modern one is incredible. While we have been here a couple of times, this time we came for a private Bollywood event. Each time we come here, it's no different. Just a fun place to hang out with friends, meet new people and then of course, have some pretty amazing drinks. The hosts are so friendly and awesome. The bartenders are so fun to have convos with. The drinks are on point and sometimes there is an accidental over-pour. ;-) A couple of these and I was feeling very good for the rest of the night! The music is always good. There is so much room in this place and the outdoor balcony even has a place to talk if it gets loud inside. I love the lounge around. One day, I'll have my own locker there! I spoke to the owners and they said that they were looking at doing more of these private themed events on Thursdays. Wifey has gone line dancing. A long overdue visit and finally made it here this week. It is a very laid-back casual bar/dance club. There is no pressure to dress up to the nines and the crowd was friendly and there to have fun. I'm a huge fan of Number 1 Broadway's wednesday country nights. Country line dancing lessons start at 7:30pm and go till 9pm. It's a $10 cover before 9pm and then anyone can come in after that time. The lessons are well done and manageable. The dance space is large but sometimes it can get a bit crowded with everyone there. It can be hard to see the instructor's feet to follow along when you're at the back, but I've found that looking at the feet of others in front of me can help me out. There's a good range of people who know all (or most) of the dances and to some who are beginners. As a beginner, people are very welcoming and cool with you just jumping in and trying to learn the steps on the fly during the main dances of the night. You can also request songs so after you've learned that YouTube dance you've been practicing all week, you can try it out on the dance floor. There is also swing dancing so come with a partner or make a new friend and head out to the dance floor. All levels of skill are welcomed and as a newbie this was a great place to learn some dances and get some practice in! Also they have water jug on the side so it's very easy to stay hydrated throughout the night! read more

Totally fun and safe place to mix it up on the dance floor in a cute town nestled in the hills. We came here for NYE following dinner at The Lexington House and it will be a night to remember always. The live band Drive was perfect and the DJ afterwards got us through the rest of the night just fine. Patrons young and old, hot and not and best of all mostly beautiful women! Every one was well behaved and kind through the night. The drinks are great and the patrons to this place are friendly and fun to dance with. I was there a few days ago for NYE, on their website they mentioned having a ballon drop at midnight that Never happened. They also mentioned free champagne at midnight, I was looking for a waitress to come by with champagne but after midnight I noticed you had to go to the bar to get it, I don't think anyone knew that, around 12:10 I saw a waitress come by with the drinks a little to late, that should have happened before 12 midnight. They had a bucket outside with hats, whistles but it was never passed out to anyone. So no one was wearing any you could not tell that is was a NYE party. I went outside and picked up a few for my friends and I. It was just poor management; I don't plan on spending my NYE there again! read more

Very disappointed in the negative direction this club has taken. The out door staff are extremely disrespectful, rude and unprofessional. The inside staff is much nicer and professional. The very nice female servers and bartenders are what really make this place desirable to visit. But overall the experience has deteriorated rapidly since the manager Chuck left. The Humpty dumpy sloth at the door and the angry miniature Russian make the experience not enjoyable. They are extremely rude, negative and harass the customers unnecessarily. Our friends will no longer frequent this place. There are plenty of places to spend our money. They need a major attitude adjustment and service industry training. Understand that Chuck will become manager at the Charlie's club on March 4th. So looking forward to that. Hopefully Broadway ownership will step in and fix this place. read more

Walk up the stairs, pay $10 entry fee after 9pm, and have a blast dancing to live music with an awesome DJ during breaks. It gets hot but there are hooks under the bar for your coat. Super friendly staff, bartenders, and nice security. Bonus: pitchers of water in the hallway to cool you off and keep dancing! I met some really awesome people. It gets very crowded by midnight but I didn't feel cramped and had plenty of room to dance. Shout out to the owner who personally welcomed me! Easy street parking. read more

I went to Number 1 Broadway last night for Dueling Pianos. It was a pretty thin crowd of regulars. The pianists were excellent. They took requests for tips. I strategized that I would tip $2-$3 every 15 minutes or so for a total of $30 (I know, I'm poor). So one of my song requests I put up there with only $2, and the piano player later said "I've got a $2 one up here that I'll get to eventually." I was embarrassed so I rewrote my request and put it up there with all the rest of the cash I had, about $8. Then they played my song. Overall we had a great time although next time I will just make one song request with all my cash at once instead of staggering my tips over the evening. read more
