The staff who greeted guests outside were friendly and welcoming, which was a great start. Unfortunately, the bartenders weren't nearly as welcoming, so the service experience at the bar could have been better. Overall, I had a fun visit and enjoyed seeing the new additions, but there's definitely room for improvement in the customer service and some of the wax figures.

The compassion and incredible energy we were surrounded with was so far above and beyond, it melted our hearts! In our case, I am a local, I went with my 5 year old grandson and my 81 year old friend. I had a chose of not going in or paying "VIP" PRICING -- $82 per ticket, no local discount, no age discount. What do you get? Shorter line to get in -- for a moment -- then you merge with everyone else. You wait on same lines for slides, ice cream, etc. The quality of that ice cream is average, the soft serve is below average, the topping cheap. I had expected - and I read a lot of about it -- a fun experience, with good ice cream, and highly engaged staff. The staff was fine, however, they were more like crowd watchers than engaged staff. They fooled me once, and they will never fool me again. However, AREA 15 is well worth it in so many other ways.

All the monsters in the museum are super cool and everything is a fun read. The people who work there are so nice and fun to talk to about common horror interests. The cost is basically nothing for a good time and you can stay as long as you want. Can't wait to go back and check it out with the whole family.
