This is a fun spot if you're looking for some fun mixed drinks, and ample fresh sea breeze. I stopped by during the week, and it was pretty quiet. The bar is located right along side the resorts pool, and steps away from the beach. Can't say the staff here is friendly. The bartender (female) seemed to have been having a bad day. There was no greeting as we sat down, and it took a few long minutes before we were finally acknowledged. We were given some menus, and right after that she disappeared for a while. At one point I said to my friend let's just leave.. the vibe was already off. We stayed, and the bartender arrived back about 7 min later. We were asked "do you know what you want" very abruptly, as if we ruined her day almost. We ordered 2 drinks, had them and then went inside to sit. We enjoyed great cocktails and numerous appetizers and meals during our 7 day stay. In fact, a year previous, we stayed at a resort nearby but found ourselves at this Timi bar so often that it factored into our decision to stay here. read more

A tiki bar with a fantastic low priced breakfast menu. I've gone here a couple of times. For COVID worried people like myself, please be sure it is a safe place. I am a bit extremest so I only go early in the morning. I do not know about their lunch and dinner ambiance, however in the morning it is quiet, good social distancing and it is an outside restaurant even before COVID. I always have the bacon, egg with tato tots. Portions are big at a low price and it comes with a view of the beach. Not too shabby. There is parking available. It often begins with an ingredient. In this case, fresh mahi was the ticket. Who hasn't had mahi in a seaside restaurant before? Let's be clear, this was the right location and the right setting for a fish sandwich. Keep in mind, there are plenty of choices for fish on the Florida coast. We actually found Lighthouse grill tiki bar while searching through Groupon offers. Although the Groupon offer is not valid for The tiki bar, it's only good for the Seaside Grill, the Groupon did bring this restaurant location to our attention. To be crystal clear, we were at the tiki bar dining area, adjacent to the swimming pool, not the Seaside. My mahi was a large and sumptuous grilled portion of fish served on a fresh baked bun. Of course I added on a light spread of their sauce which was served on the side just in case you wanted to keep your fish super clean or make a healthier choice. The fish sandwich comes with one side and I had the french fries. The fries were Delicious, properly prepared and I enjoyed eating them with ketchup. This restaurant is located within the lighthouse cove resort. We just pulled in off the street and parked in their lot, that was convenient. The tables overlook the swimming pool and beyond that view you can see the open Atlantic Ocean. Certainly worth visiting when you are looking for a food and beverage stop somewhere between Miami and Palm Beach, we'll be back. Salute! read more

3/23/2019 - Wanted a beach day and a frozen drink! Lighthouse Cove Tiki Bar is inside the Lighthouse Cove Resort. There was plenty of parking. We walked through the Seaside Grill restaurant and outside to the tiki bar. It was spring break so the resort itself and the tiki bar were jammed packed. I ordered a Mango Margarita (frozen). While we waited we just started making conversation with the people at the bar. It has a very friendly atmosphere, very laid back. The tiki bar is right at the center of the resort so you do not have a view to the beach, just the pool area. We walked around the resort and sat on the beach for a few hours. Will definitely come back to the restaurant and the tiki bar. There is a stage for live music although they did not have anyone playing at the time we went. The tiki bar does offer food. I really liked that even though you are not a guest of the resort, you can just hang out at the bar and enjoy the laid back atmosphere. read more

Yeah after I finally got my first drink I asked for a double vodka on the second drink and still had no vodka in it and when I went back for my third drink I actually ordered three different times and she still never delivered it. Nice beach spot in Pompano. Met a friend, and although it's an outdoor 'tiki' bar, you don't have much view of the ocean as the hotel's pool and chair service is in between the hotel and ocean. The wait staff was very friendly, the appetizers were good, the southwest egg rolls were better than the poppers, and the Pineapple Press drink was very enjoyable. The menu was typical beach bar fare, and the prices were very typical, if not a tad more reasonable than other spots. I would def come back again for a low key fun meal! read more

We weren't greeted with a smile or even a hello, just "what do you wanna drink?". Fantastic spot outdoors at the back of Lighthouse Cove Resort. Lots of locals hang out here and they have live music several days a week. If you go early Sunday evening, you are in for an experience! Apparently, this is 'professional karoke' day and all the older set comes out to play. They have a live band and lots of local lounge singers and has beens hang out to take turns singing. They were all actually VERY good - loads of talent. Supposedly, when we were there, some song writer who had gold records with Cole Porter was there and sang a few songs. And let me tell you, these oldsters can PARTAY! They were drinking like crazy, dancing and some behaving badly - LOL! Tiki Cove is in the hotel, as others have mentioned, although you don't have to actually go through the hotel since its outdoors. It is a solid three stars... We didn't order food, so we couldn't report on that. Staff was friendly and service was very prompt. The drinks were brutally well but drinkable after they watered down a bit. Middle-aged tourist karaoke was in full effect and was very entertaining. And while the bar is outside and the ocean is close, it's definitely "toes in the sand".
