I like to come here for a nice relaxing dinner and look at the beautiful ocean views. They have nice inside dining room and inside bar also a tiki bar outside. I had a really nice dinner with blackened mahi-mahi, crab, stuffed shrimp, baked potato, and macaroni and cheese and for dessert I had some peanut butter pie, everything was delicious and I left there really full. I am not exaggerating when I say that this place is top notch from the menu to the ambiance - which included live music during dinner time. I ordered the Blackened Salmon and Mahi Mahi entree with broccoli and cole slaw. The fish was super fresh, best I've had in recent memory. You cannot go wrong with Seaside Grill. I live about 100 yards from this place. It is a short, simple walk along the beach from my place to this restaurant . One would think, as a 25+ year resident here, that maybe, just MAYBE the barkeep in this almost always empty establishment would remember me. Even after I REMIND HER of the countless times my husband and I have been here. But, nooooo. I walked there yesterday, and tried (once again) to remind her of who I was. Nope. No recollection at all. I was THE ONLY patron in the place. She was rude and awful to me from the get go. Had a lovely seaside lunch the other day! We ordered a chipotle chicken wrap and shrimp tacos, both with fries. The food was excellent, especially the tacos, which were pretty big. Overall a great value for the price. The service was good, but it was pretty busy outside- one woman was serving everyone, but she was doing an excellent job. On a nice day, it is worth it to go sit outside instead of the indoor dining. The parking is free, too. read more

I received a gift card from my Daughter in RI for Dads day for this restaurant. I have never been although I live on the beach at the Parliament House Condos for 6 years. Let me start with the order. 2 orders of crab cakes. Terrible although we did eat them ( we all were hungry) next the clam chowder it was very different but palatable and we fid eat it The burger Not finished The garlic bread was dry and not as expected. No oil and vinegar served yet $5.95 we ate 2 of the 5. Not worth it at all The scallops were very good although i did not taste them but my guest said he enjoyed the 4 out of 5 I ordered the blackened salmon it was dry and the sauce was very different and i picked through it. The carrots were very good. The Caesar salad extra charge $3.00 was the worst. Bottle dressing on wilted lettuce not a restaurant level Caesar salad. I learned one thing. Caesar salad and garlic bread only at Italian restaurants from now on. Fish at Sea Watch or Kellys Landing. This is a handy restaurant only for the resort people. Not a restaurant for a local. Now maybe we should have had a sandwich not a $185. Plus 18% tip restaurant. My daughter picked this restaurant from looking at Google for a restaurant close to me. (Wish I remembered his name) Hubby ordered the Rasta pasta w/shrimp on it. You get six good sized shrimp. You can order chicken if you prefer. He always says he is going to try something else but just can't stop himself as he just loves this dish! It has a jerk seasoning. I ordered the hand breaded chicken strips. You get six of them! He sent it back, they microwaved it and then when the bill came they had charged him more money for his underdone fish than was on the menu. When this was brought to the waitress attention she said flippantly "we have new system, I guess it needs to be tweaked " so basically you have been over charging everyone for your half cooked fish! I like to come here with my family. The service is pretty quick and you get a nice view of the beach. The best part is that they serve some awesome seafood. I really like their sandwiches. Great outdoor patio that's practically poolside, and the beach is in view. Fresh mahi sandwich was delicious, and our waitress Sarah was ready to provide drinks while we waited for our lunch. Cordial atmosphere, lots of drinks choices. A nice way to enjoy the weather and people watch. I left zooted off the margs and slightly sticky from sea monster condensation. First off: the margaritas are TEXAS SIZED. As a fellow Buc-ee's-loving Texan, I mean fishbowl-on-steroids big. The Sea Monster Marg is NO joke. Like, is it even legal to sell margs this big before noon? Probably not. Do I care? Absolutely not. I took one sip and a dolphin winked at me. Was it real? Unclear. These drinks have the kind of power that makes you want to buy a jet ski, and then ghost everyone for three days. The food? Florida wildin'. Gator bites that bite back (so I avoided them). I got the fish and chips... I think? Honestly, details are fuzzy. The fish tasted like it just came out of a protein cycle. Full-on CrossFit fish. Every bite was like a beach party in my mouth hosted by Jimmy Buffett and Guy Fieri in matching Hawaiian shirts. Halfway through the plate, I remembered all my childhood traumas--and forgave them. Healing. The vibe? Desolate at 11:00 A.M. sharp, aside from two divorced men posted at the bar looking like they were on hour three of a passive-aggressive co-parenting debate. Beautiful view of the pool where Floridians were getting it on--family-style. (And by that I mean yelling, cannonballing, and occasionally pushing each other in with what can only be described as violent love.) And honestly? Better than a Miami strip club. This is one of my favorite restaurants in Pompano Beach! It's located inside of a hotel, so you can park at the hotel parking lot and go in through the front, you don't have to walk through the hotel. The decor is beachy, kind of dark inside with wooden tables and booths. Most of the times I sit at the bar, but this time was my mom's birthday so we got a table. The server was super nice, my niece was running late but she still let us put her order in before the happy hour prices ended. I ordered a sole fish, it was the first time I've had that kind of fish and it was so yummy! Everyone else at the table was very happy with their food and drinks! Who isn't down for a tiki bar? Unfortunately, the tiki bar in question was less tiki (no torches, drinks in a coconut shell or bamboo cup, tiki totem pole thing, or thatched roof) and more tacky (plastic cups, chairs, and roof). We chose to eat at the grill. The meal was fine and economical, except for some confusion about the potato that was ordered and the cost of payment. The former had to do with sweet vs non-sweet, and the latter with a 4.52% credit card surcharge. When I mentioned to the manager that there was nothing on the menu about it (the surcharge not the sweetness of the potato), she replied that there was a (small) sign on the door that stated, "We apply a price adjustment on credit transactions that is not greater than our cost of acceptance." It didn't seem very fair to me, but I was thankful there was not another sign on the door that said, "We apply a kick in the jimmies to any customer who complains about the credit card price adjustment." The manager mentioned that she started applying the adjustment after COVID. When I asked if it was due to a fee increase, she said, "No, I did it to make more money." While I appreciated her honesty, I didn't appreciate her hospitality. read more

My family finished eating and left before the server came back. So of course he never received his water. I wanted to ask for another drink but didn't want to sit another 15-20 min. TL;DR: blackened salmon is tasty, lobster ravioli is pretty, plenty of alcoholic beverages. Parking: small private lot, streetside. Atmosphere: bar setting, dimly lit but enough lighting at your table. Service: wait to be seated, order at the table, you will be watered, check brought to you. Menu: descriptive, minimal photos. Most entrees come with 2 sides (located in bottom of menu). Seaside Sampler: the crab cakes are spicy, the mozzarella sticks are not stringy at all and don't pull apart. Land and Sea (4oz Atlantic salmon, 5oz Cajun Sirloin): i got the blackened salmon and it was quite tasty -- not overcooked and dry at all but very most and flavorful. The sauce that it comes with adds a nice light flavor to the salmon. The steak was ok but nothing really to write home about in my opinion. Side Caesar Salad: fresh romaine and lightly flavored croutons - your typical Caesar! Lobster Ravioli: I didn't consume this one but it does look really cool with the striped ravioli. read more

The rice was great with a touch of butter for creaminess. However, there were some rice kernels (?) that were hard. My date ordered the beach burger with cheese, bacon, and mac n cheese as his side. Medium well was too done, but it had great grilled flavor. The mac n cheese had chopped garlic, which was a nice twist, but became overpowering. It was creamy, white cheddar, with the curved noodles.
