I've been watching people enjoy the delightful pasta at Dario from afar for too long! I had to…read morecheck it out for myself and I was not disappointed! Tucked away in its own little corner of North Loop, there is some paid parking directly outside otherwise walking from nearby street parking is possible too! The interior of the space is whimsical and fun with green and pink interior design elements, gold accents, and fun artwork! It truly feels like a special escape from reality when inside...similar to an Alice in Wonderland experience. Our server was incredibly friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable about what to order. I particularly appreciated how our pasta came out in intentional courses from lightest to heaviest. It absolutely elevated the meal to top notch. Known for their handmade pasta, we didn't mess around with any other menu items...we just ordered four different plates of pasta: Doppio, Torteletti, Rigatoni Alla Vodka, and Tajarin! The Doppio was my favorite, with a unique double filled pasta that had a savory sunchoke filling highlighted with a pop of whipped ricotta. The Rigatoni was cozy and warm, serving up perfect comfort food vibes. The Tajarin was the ocean in a bowl and my partner's favorite, but it was a bit too salty for my palate. The food was top notch and the environment was stellar, but I did feel a bit of cognitive dissonance. The food was so grounded, earthy, and cozy yet the interior was whimsical, playful, and ethereal. This disconnect took my out of the experience a bit. Add in that the price points are a bit high, and I could see why some might have different expectations. Overall, I'm glad Dario is taking swings at providing something truly unique to the North Loop! I will absolutely be returning!

Start with an array of tastings with the lobster pasta, then the delicious flavors of the lamb cuisine, and of course the halibut fish option is oooh so good. We concluded our food extravaganza of culinary excellence with the decadent but light chocolate cake, and the coconut sorbet and the another delicious cake dessert. The ambience and excitement of the environment styled restaurant and atmosphere lends itself to a pleasant and fun space to kiki with friends. The service was fun and the handsome staff and beautiful hostess made our experience so welcoming and awesome. Dario is the place to be for any dinner, lunch, weekend social or just for a fun delicious food experience.

My group was the only ones here during all of lunch hour, so I was a little worried at first. There was only one server and she was also working the front desk as well. The menu was difficult to navigate as the items on their buffet menu did not have descriptions, but their al a carte and online menu did, so we had to cross reference menus to know exactly what was in each roll. Orders were taken quickly but the food came out a little slow; I wonder if they had much fewer cooks working for how slow their lunch hours were. Nonetheless, the food did arrive and what was missed in speed was made up for in quality. I didn't take many pictures since the I was so hungry while waiting for the food, but the one I did take was of the Snow Thrill roll, which had 3 different kinds of fish in it (just check out the amount of fish in that thing!!). Nigiri was solid and the rice was properly sushi vinegar'd. A couple other solid picks were the salmon tartar and gyoza. Dessert options are plentiful, but they didn't have some of the items listed on the menu like certain flavors of the mochi ice cream. If you're okay with a little bit of a wait, I would recommend trying this place out. Probably in my top 3 in terms of the quality of sushi in MN.

Do yourself a favor -- order the Szechuan dumplings and the shrimp dry pot. You're welcome. The only reason I did not give this five stars is that I was a bit disappointed because they advertised 10% off in celebration on the Chinese New Year but could not honor that because no one at the restaurant knew the code to enter into the register. And the code did not appear in the email we received announcing the discount. Nevertheless, still worth it!

It was literally the top of the chili oil jar LITERALLY JUST the clear red oil like who does that??! AND an Asian person even served me that... what the HECK DUDE THAT IS MESSED UP! I have no idea why this place is still in the North Loop. The general Tsos is all fried exterior breading & very thin tough old chewy meat inside... very odd for a Chinese restaurant. Panda Express is better than here. They use real chow fun noodles, however, slimy greasy AF... so greasy... it slides off the chopsticks.. WHAT IN THE WORLD is going on here??! The small portions aren't even worth the price! Very disappointing. Who is even keeping this place open is there really an Asian mafia with all this money to lose cuz nobody I mean nobody eats here! I wish a better Asian restaurant would come in here. Nobody even eats here it's dead AF in here! Disgrace to Asian cuisine. Zero stars not even worth posting about.

I've always thought this is the perfect place to go when you... -can't figure out what you want to eat -when you're meeting up with friends or coworkers -going on a first date -want adult food but also have a kiddo along. The Market has a beer wall, a full bar and multiple food vendors to order from. Over time new vendors take residence of the spots though there are some that have been around a long time. It's fun to get favorites and try new things. I'd suggest you go with the mindset to try different things and share with who you're with to find your favorites. They also have many areas to grab a seat and visit inside and outside. As well as special event space to rent. There is often activities at the Market so make sure to check them out if you're looking for more than a meal.
