There are no words to express how I feel about the passing of my mother. With all the emotion during this time, and all the details that needed to be taken care of, I am extremely grateful to Lighthouse Memorials and Receptions for all the care and concern that was shown to myself, my sister and our family. We very much wanted to have a service that met all the rules and guidelines for keeping people safe during this time, but also wanted to have a space that could accommodate more than 10. The outside venue at the Pacific Crest Cemetery on the Palm Court Lawn was beautiful. Working with the Arranger, Mr. Deidric Brown, and all the staff at Lighthouse was effortless. Thank you to Daisy, John, Blanca, Cecilia, the AV Tech, Mr. Reggie Hall and all the Lighthouse staff.

McCormicks horse/carraige that we added to the service, beautiful show stopper!!

Wowwwwww where do I start with how wonderful Alex and Tina were in helping prepare my grandmother's celebration of life. Can I just say that this team here deserves many thanks and rewards for always going above and beyond when taking care of our family. This was a very difficult time for my family and they took care of us like royalty. This facility is a top of the line modern facility with very caring and empathetic employees. They take their time to listen to all your concerns, your wants, your needs and meet every single one. I just want to give a special thanks to Alex and Tina for everything they did for our family and all the accommodations made to make this celebration of life the best ever for my grandmother who I called "Ma". This is a high class facility with high class employees. I cannot remember who took care of dressing my grandma for her special day but he did an outstanding job with her and we were exceptionally pleased. Thank you again for everything. My entire family truly enjoyed the service and felt that my grandmother was celebrated in style.

Entrance to the mortuary. We used their table to set up sign in book and memory cards for visitors to write their memories.

Unfortunately, I had a terrible experience with this funeral home…read more They showed no empathy and were unprofessional. As stated in a different review, they just referred to my loved one as a body or remains -- and although they may be, when you have just lost a loved one and one is in shock and in so much pain, one would prefer they refer to them by their name, affiliation (ex. your dad, grandpa, etc), or as "loved one". Everything was so mechanical to them - just another body and didn't care for names. They also tried to charge additional fees for extra days they would hold our loved one's body. They were terrible at returning calls and took long to contact the hospital. I felt terrible getting the calls from the hospital as though I had forgotten my father there. It was heartbreaking. We had the viewing, mass, and burial on the same day. During the mass, Beverly and the driver of the hearse took lunch. After mass, we had to wait for them to get back. The casket spray, for which they charged us $250 which was supposed to have white roses and a ribbon, did not have a single rose (only carnations, greenery, and some other cheap flowers) and no ribbon. At the cemetery, as soon as my father's casket was placed by the grave site, Beverly said "I know we were not your first choice, but thank you for doing business with us." I guess this was her response for me calling her out for coming back from their lunch after mass was over. Really? Not the moment to do this and to say this to family who are mourning their loved one on the last minutes before their burial. This was not about THEM! Very unprofessional. Their slogan: "Where your loved one becomes our loved one" --- is a joke! Sadly, recently we had another death in our family --- and after dealing with another funeral home and the huge difference in professionalism -- I realized how much more terrible this place is. I do not recommend this place at all.

The First Lady had no sympathy for my close friends family she tried to charge us $135 a day for extending it past the week. During the funeral service she rushed through the entire thing. She forced us to wear masks before we entered the church and pushed the family away during the viewing. She showed no remorse for the family and it was very disgusting to see how she talked to everyone. I can't believe a pastor's wife would have the audacity to have such an unprofessional business I don't even think they have a license. Please beware of sending your loved ones here..

Ernie, our counselor, was very responsive, patient, and professional throughout the entire process. Betty at the front desk was kind and helpful whenever we had questions. Michael, who transported my father from the nursing home to Riverside, treated him with dignity and care, which meant a lot to us. I also want to acknowledge Maurice Rambus, who prepared my father. He looked peaceful and like himself, and that brought our family a lot of comfort. While the building itself could definitely use some improvements. the exterior could be better maintained and the sound system could be upgraded, the most important thing to me was how my father was treated, and the staff did an excellent job in that regard. I hope ownership invests in improving the facility because the staff there are doing meaningful and compassionate work for families during very difficult moments. Overall, I'm glad I chose Grace Memorial to care for my father. Thank you Grace Memorial.

The memorial services included a viewing from 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., followed by Mass from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. That same day, at 1:00 p.m., we also laid my father to rest at Inglewood Cemetery, which is located on the same premises -- allowing everything to be beautifully coordinated in one day. Everything exceeded our expectations. From the quality of service to the attentiveness shown to our family and every detail, everything was handled with care, delicacy, and professionalism. We were able to grieve peacefully while everything ran smoothly, on time, and with the utmost respect. It looked grand, felt meaningful, and was truly perfect for honoring our loved one's celebration and legacy of life. Thank you to the Director of Services for the reflection of love and compassion you clearly have for your work, and for the genuine care you show grieving families during such difficult moments. In addition, they don't return phone calls when you leave messages, nor do they respond to emails. Also, after being told to pick up our mom Death Certificates, once arriving there, they wouldn't give them to us, this was on two occasions. All they do is make poor excuses. We would never utilize Inglewood Park Cemetery again. Patricia Wright
