And in my opinion a more accurate representation of the disaster of a business you're considering engaging with. Overall experience was terrible. The consultation in general was simply an excuse to push processed, expensive packaged foods like shakes, bars, etc. instead of teaching clients how to eat real food in a sustainable way. I decided not to move forward with the program after meeting with the Dr. Weeks later I received an invoice that brings me to the disaster of their billing. Their "insurance experts" and front office completely miss the boat on accurately explaining the offices costs. When I walked in the gal attempted to charge me $95 (I later learned this was the full cost if I had no insurance, in hindsight I should have simply paid this). I told her I was quoted $45 by the billing team and wasn't interested in paying $95 for a consultation so if it was that vs. $45 cancel the appointment. She went to the back and came back out and said oh year $45. Ok. Two weeks later, after paying the $45 the day of the appointment, I received a bill for $92.88. Which by the way in hindsight NOT using insurance would have been better for me, wish their "insurance expert" had mentioned that when she ran my insurance and told me the cost for a consultaton would be $45. The billing company (they outsource it) was really nice to work with and apologetic explaining they've had high turn over at the medical office and have been having problems with clients not having expenses properly explained. Apparently I'm not the first to have this or a similar issue. They escalated my call back to Rainier Medical who came back and said the costs are listed on the website and I signed something when I showed up that said I'd pay whatever was billed so it was due. I paid the $92.88 (plus the original $45) and am wiping my hands of the experience but hope by sharing others will know to (a) avoid this place, the services aren't worth it and (b) if you do go don't trust the billing/front desk team to be helpful.

You would think that someone who sees these back issues endlessly would become bored or slightly indifferent. But Dr Keena snapped into a sense of urgency and empathy, with a problem she couldn't see. She made me feel heard and understood and she was taking me seriously. I see Keena for chiropractic adjustments, Maria for nutrition and Toni for massage. I had been going through long term stomach pain and after having visted many doctors and underwent multiple exploratory procedures nothing had been found. I had a free (during patient day) visit with Maria who suggested I try certain supplements and adjust my diet to eliminate foods that I showed a sensitivity to. After a couple weeks I was relieved of the pain, and now it only comes back when I am not eating what I should. Wish I would have started here! Keena has been great for the adjustments with the scoliosis I have in my lower back. Using the activator she also adjust sinuses and other things I've never had done before. Nate took care of me and demonstrated expert knowledge of the facility the machines and processes. I genuinely felt like I was signing up for a great deal and I was; I felt welcome for the first time in a gym anywhere and it was happenstance that I walked in. As someone with concerns about environments that can foster an environment where counting calories and weighing in are encouraged or emphasize is put on size, Ascent is the exact opposite. Ascent is a wonderful unicorn place where people can go just to learn how to better move their bodies and grow stronger and find victories that have nothing to do with size- like hiking longer distances, or having less back pain, or being able to lift more. They always offer alternative exercises to meet people where they're at which is super refreshing. They also host so many great events and series classes like queer inclusive self defense. We drive from a fair distance away because the community here is so much better and they have a mission you can't help but support. The focus at this gym is functional fitness, so you do a variety of exercises each time you go--including crawling, get-ups, weights (and body weight exercises), lunges, etc. I also love that the trainers will give plenty of modifications as needed, as I'm limited in shoulder mobility due to an injury. Their main format is small group classes, but personal training and open gym hours are also available. Which works for me, became I'm way more accountable when I'm in a class anyway! I've gotten noticeably stronger since I first started, which has helped me not only in my work and at home, but with my self-confidence overall. Exercise really is the best self care. I believe a place of healing called Noble Wellness should be a therapeutic environment. It should…read morefeel positive and dedicated to healing. Instead my experience here has been anything but. There's a very uncomfortable feeling I get here. I thought I was being hard on them so I gave them a second chance. At my second chance even though they offer veterans services and understand how difficult the VA payment system can be they offer this. Claiming it's about helping veterans. Instead they told me I would have to pay cash agreed to let me pay later during my appointment and after my appointment insisted on cash payment up front. I paid. I thought maybe they were just having an office miscommunication. Later it got worse. I have had several appointments made for me when I explained that time slot wouldn't work and had noble wellness attempt to get me to pay for no shows. They took back the no show fee so I tried to reschedule and this is where I figured out there is a toxic environment there. I have been harassed by office staff. Told no one misses me after asking to not have appointments there anymore because of scheduling conflicts. The schedule listed on here and on Google is not accurate. They do not take patients after 12:30pm. I highly advise going somewhere else till they workout the toxic issue between office staff and the provider. No one needs more stress from a place supposed to be about healing. It's not possible to heal people when your having really bad issues.
