I'm sure if things go well then it's a great place but if something goes wrong, well it's a very bizarre and ugly experience of having to defend yourself. After you've been called a liar by the owner and her staff on what was or wasn't done/said, well then you get a portion of your money refunded (less then half). Completely unprofessional. I believe this place is a scam. I came here in hopes of joining a program that would help me lose the 50 extra lbs I've been carrying for years. Angela was at the front desk and nice enough. After throwing down $250, They took my body comp and I got a prescription for a weight loss aid. 4 days into the medication I felt so drowsy and lethargic I could barely function. I called the clinic and Angela said to call back dr jones in regards to the meds. dr jones immediately told me to stop taking it and try a different one she prescribed. I took it and didn't feel much. I ate well, exercised, drank water, etc. I called dr jones and told her I didn't feel like the program was working for me and she said to talk to Angela at the clinic about a refund. 3 weeks later I went in for my 1 month follow up and had only lost 3 lbs. with the program the average loss is 10-15. I didn't feel good on the medication and did not want to continue the program. I told Angela about what dr jones had said about a refund. Angela said yes absolutely she agreed that I should be refunded as they have never had someone not lose weight on their program. well fast forward 3 weeks. I have been bounced around between dr jones, Angela, and the owner who called me personally and said that "nobody ever told you you could get a refund" apparently her staff are saying they never told me that. dr jones chalked it up to a "misunderstanding", and the owner is extremely short with me. they offered me a different medication free of charge which I declined. I know I will never see my $250 again or the $50 I paid for 2 different medications. I am severely disappointed with this place. ONE YEAR UPDATE: I have been a client at TBWG for a year and have lost 105 lbs., working toward 25 more. I have had a LOT of interactions with Angela and her team. The staff have never been anything but professional, kind and helpful. I had a couple of weeks where I experienced a weight gain, they provided coaching and probed for possible deviations from the program. Staying on the program WORKS. I have to contradict the negative reviews, they come across as spiteful and mean and not representative of this business. I began my weight loss journey in March 2018. I was overweight due to poor eating habits and lack of exercise. I was struggling to regain confidence and Total Body Wellness Group restored that for me. After consulting with Angela and Amy, I began the HCG program. In July 2018 I was down 40 pounds and was able to attend my cousin's wedding without feeling insecure. I continued the HCG program and now I am down 50 pounds. I also use the lipotropic program which allowed me to explore different food options and begin exercising. I am only 23 years old and if I had not had tremendous help from Angela and her staff then I would be at risk of so many health concerns that someone my age should not have to worry about. I take time off every now and then to focus on self-dependency with more stringent exercise but I know that they are there for me when I need them. Not only are they professional but they care. I would like to share my experience: I came upon this place at a relative's recommendation. The location is in downtown Auburn not far from the major transit center. Prior to me coming here, I had started dieting (somewhat) and wanted a jumpstart to my program. When I began, I was at 207 pounds. After six weeks I am 174 pounds! I dropped an amazing 33 pounds! How did I accomplish that? First off, this clinic is not a "quick-fix" or "magic pill" for the overweight or obese. It is an entire change of lifestyle. If you are not committed, this is not for you. If you are committed, what you gain is pure knowledge. I had no idea how much nutrition and prescription medication can affect your diet. I recently came to Auburn MediPro Slim for their new Cavi Lipo treatment and I am beyond happy with the facility, team and my results! The Cavi Lipo is an FDA approved, non-invasive body sculpting treatment. I had done a bit reasearch on similar treatments and found the other methods were not FDA approved. I love this place. The product is helping me to lose weight and when I don't it is because of me not following the plan. I came to Total Body Wellness in April 2016, I had unsuccessfully been trying to limit my calorie intake and tried some "quick fix" scenarios, of course none of those quick fixes worked...Having never struggled with my weight until hitting age 39 it was a whole new concept to actually have to watch what I was eating, therefore it made the dieting process even harder..I had gained over 40lbs in the past few years and was passed my weight the day I gave birth to both my children who are now teenagers...
