I live in Kona and my favorite is the Spa Lomi Lomi massage. The hot stones are extra-relaxing. Daisy does an excellent job of working on my problem spots, especially my shoulders. Came in for a deep tissue massage payed $130 for it and the lady hardly worked on my problem areas which a lot she skipped and was not deep tissue at all! Felt like a relaxing rub down with coconut oil. Still had pain at the end, I am a massage therapist as well and this $130 massage was not beneficial at all to me, very disappointing. At the end when I went to pay with my credit card she Handed back the receipt and asked for me to give her a tip, which I was thinking I'm already paying $130 and did not feel any result and thought it was unprofessional to hand the paper back and ask for a tip I will never go there again, very upset! read more

I booked three 75 minute deep tissue massages plus mini facials. We were told to arrive at 9:20 am as the massages were to start at 9:30 am. We arrived at 9:10 am only to find two of the therapists waiting for the door to open. We decided to go for a walk amd come back. We returned at 9:20 am and the therapists were apologizing and desperately trying to reach someone to unlock the door. Finally the owner's brother came at 9:35 am. One of the therapists was late so two of us started at 9:45 am after the rooms were set up. The treatments were fantastic. We had Rick, Gabriel and Gillian for massages. The mini facials were great too. We have travelled all over the world and the treatments were second to none. However, the professionalism of the establishment was lacking. The therapists didn't know what our treatments were as a result one of the massages was cut short instead of 75 minutes it was only 60. It took 20 minutes for me to pay the bill as the front desk didn't know our services as the details were not entered in the system and she didn't know who the therapists were. Very unprofessional but great therapists. read more

This place is a great discovery! Everyone was courteous friendly and professional: from the call to make the appointment till we walked out. I booked a couple massage for my husband and I. When we walked in they offered us a choice of still or sparkly water then gave us the usual form to fill out. This would usually be the less fun thing to do, but not here, as the two therapists sat us down, put our feet in a basin and proceeded to giving us a foot massage. We then went into the massage room which was clean, spacious, well aired, correctly light AND the music was at the appropriate volume. It was also nice relaxing music, I have had many massages in places where they will have these weird playlists with wolves, birds etc.. Well not the case here. Angela took care of my massage and she knows what she is doing, she spotted the tensions in my body and worked through them, the whole body got it's share and it was great! One of the best massages I have had! My husband's massage was the same quality, I have unfortunately forgotten the name of his therapist. We both walked out feeling as wrapped in cotton wool. My family was looking for massages for all 4 of us at the same time for my mother's 60th birthday. We were able to book with ease and great customer service the whole way through. All the ladies that massaged us were amazing. Mine especially was great since I don't like heavy pressure in some areas and heavy on others and she did it perfectly. My mom loved hers so much, and so did my dad and brother. And more affordable than all the other places we looked at. It is a no frills place. Was in town on vacation and after a long week of scuba diving, I was ready for a nice, therapeutic deep tissue massage. First of all, I was extremely appreciative that they took appointments on a Sunday. I booked a 1 hr 40 minute massage with Marie and it was awesome. I book massages every time I go on vacation (and sometimes in between) and this was the best one I've ever had. She took the time to find out what my trouble areas/concerns were and tailored my treatment based upon them. Should I ever find myself in the Kona area again, I would not hesitate to come back and I HIGHLY recommend them for anyone looking for a professional masseuse. I heard BodyRhythms had just opened and was looking for a great massage. Well that is what I got. A deep tissue massage that had me feeling wonderful at the end of the 90 minutes. The massage included a foot soak and scrub, complete massage from literally from the top of my head to the bottom of my feet and Angela placed warm towels around my face, legs and feet. The Spa is really clean, relaxing and the staff is wonderful. I would highly recommend this spa to anyone looking to get a massage. I look forward to getting a facial next. read more

My brother, sis and I loved our spa experience at Body Rhythms. Newly opened spa; very clean and professional. Two of us had a Hot Stone Massage which we loved. My brother likes a firmer massage and asked for more pressure and was pleased with his massage. My sis was having trouble with sciatica and had an acupuncture treatment in addition to her massage. The spa has a nice array of services and the people are very gracious and friendly. We all had a great experience and would highly recommend this spa. read more

All I can say is wow! From Booking our appointment over the phone to the first day we walked in, we felt welcome. Not one ounce of us felt uncomfortable. We had a couples massage and I had the aromatherapy with Alyssa who's amazing and my fiancé had Angela who did a deep tissue. Our needs were met and the foot soak was a bonus!! David, who set the appointments for us and ensured the massage therapist was matched to our needs, did a great job. Price very reasonable. Beautiful new spa. Great location. All the right touches. Immaculately clean. A delight for the senses - running fountain, gorgeous peaceful music, lovely aromas, comfortably warm and friendly with a stellar view of Kona from the upstairs waiting room. The staff is SO friendly and welcoming and made me feel special. My exceptional massage with Angela included the application of warm towels to my tight muscles (which worked miracles), bodywork that was a perfect blend of hard and soft that left me like a wet noodle, and a relaxing reflexology foot massage.I drifted away and didn't want to leave. I was given my full massage time of 90 minutes, not including the time I needed to undress and dress. As I was filling out my intake form, I got a *free* foot soak in what smelled like peppermint salts, and Angela scrubbed and rubbed my feet. So many places I've gone nickel and dime every llittle thing they do, but not here. I was given a fresh bottle of Perrier and they extended the offer for me to take a rain shower after my massage if I wanted to, as I was going to a dinner right afterward. I came back a couple of weeks later for a full facial and was delighted. Jill was my esthetician and she gave a very nurturing, relaxing facial with a ton of massage thrown in. I kept falling asleep, but tried to stay awake so I could enjoy it! My skin felt very clean, hydrated, and soft afterward (my husband said I "glowed" ;-). Jill used Dermalogica products which I've loved since I was introduced to them in the bay area, and she was very knowledgeable about skin care and recommended some products and an anti-aging skin care routine that now use with great results. I want to go back to have my eyelashes tinted black before my upcoming vacation. I've been to a lot of spas, and here you get a "high end" feel of pampering with a very reasonable price. My husband and I were vactioning in Kona and my husband suggested massages on our last full day there. The places on Ali'i Drive seemed a little on the dirty side, so I turned to the internet and found out about Body Rhythms. We stopped by instead of calling so that we could check the place out before deciding to make appointments. It was brand new and very clean, so we decided to try it out! David was great! Very friendly and he set us up for later that day. My husband had an appointment for a hot stone massage and I had a salt body scrub. We both enjoyed the services, paid and were on our way. That evening, my husband said he was pretty sure there had been no hot stones, but he didn't care because he was so relaxed that he could barely speak! The next morning, I received a call from David who apologized profusely for the mix up about the hot stones. Yes, he actually realized that there had been a mistake and he called me! He wanted to refund the $20 extra we paid for the hot stones and offered to mail me a check or said I could stop by if we were still in town. I told him that I had wanted a facial and asked if they could get me in that day. They got me in and Angela did a mini facial for no charge! Really great people and TOP service! One night my husband said boy you sure are snatchy! You bet I am at 6 1/2 months pregnant! So the family hooked me up with a massage at Body Rhythms with Angela. I was a little hesitant because to be honest I dont like massages, I am to ticklish or they hurt to much, plus I am pregnant and I didn't think I could even sit through one. But Angela was AMMMAAAZING!! My comfort and safety were her number one priority. She even had a special bed set up so I could lay on (but not really ON) my stomach. The massage itself didn't hurt one bit. It felt so good!!! She knew right where I hurt and was able to make me much less snatchy! And she topped it off with a facial that just about put me to sleep. Everything smelled sooo good and I was so relaxed and comfortable with her. I loved it so much I am surprising my husband with an anniversary massage there. They are such sweet people, they are even going to let us use their lighthouse lookout for a surprise anniversary dinner! I would recommend them to anyone who wants to feel incredible!!! read more
