This place I had high hopes but maybe I have to try it out again; first off I came in and I was given weird looks and vibes by people while waiting on a friend and then once she arrived-there was a wait and they shortly after it seemed like one of the owners then came by us to assist. She was very nice and knowledgeable but I felt like the staff seemed more helpful helping those who reserved a table for a group or those that were already there prior to us arriving. I would definitely try it again but as of know it wouldn't be my first choice to go to. The wine we tried (red one, forgot the name but it was a sweet one) it was good. We didn't eat anything from here, they have a limited menu but we were told the food pairs with the wine. The food menu looked good and what came out from the kitchen made me want to come back and get the entire experience. Anyhow definitely something cool to experience on the other side of town.

I have not reviewed anything on Yelp in a long, long time. I have now eaten here three times and…read morethe food quality, taste, and consistency is absolutely terrific. In my previous reviews I Utilized a Good, Bad, and Ugly rating scale. I really like most everything about Superette. The staff are very eclectic and nice, outdoor dining is relaxing and invigorating. There are not many things better than sitting outside under oak trees while eating delicious savory food and enjoying a good wine or cocktails. Replaying last night's dinner in my head has me planning my next visit to Superette. Sunday brunch this weekend is calling my name. Oh,'one more thing, Superette is also the place to go where you will only run into the people you like. The folks you don't care for are not going to be there. Just my observation.

Superette was such a beautiful and memorable experience. I ordered the hibiscus spritz, which was…read morerefreshing, floral, and perfectly balanced, such a pretty drink. The sweet potato soup had a puréed, baby‑food texture, but the flavor itself was surprisingly rich and comforting. The star for me was the Tunisian casse‑croûte. The flavors were incredible; the albacore was tender and seasoned just right, the salata mechouia added this smoky, roasted pepper depth, and the pickled egg brought the perfect tangy brightness. The arugula gave it a fresh, peppery lift, and the harissa aioli tied everything together with a warm, subtle heat. The fries on top added the best crunchy contrast. Every bite was layered, bold, and so satisfying.

I loved curia!! I ordered a cappuccino with orange cardamom syrup and it was extremely satisfying!…read moreThe orange didn't really come through a whole lot but the cardamom was front and center (which I loved). My boyfriend got a cappuccino with strawberry syrup but we didn't really taste the strawberry in his. Regardless, it was delicious. We also got one of their biscotti which seemed like they made in house but I'm not sure. It was yummy, but definitely was not a very traditional recipe. It tasted more like a short bread than a biscotti but still very yummy. We walked out to the food truck to get some vegan bites and they definitely met expectations. The crabby patty was delicious with a great texture, and my boyfriends patty melt was also super good. We shared a mac and cheese and honestly I was full before we even got to that. The Mac and cheese was great but did taste a lot like coconut so if you're not into that then maybe veer away. The ambience was a mixed bag. The initial shop that you order the coffee in had a very cozy vibe with great decor. If you walk past the patio into the overflow seating the vibe changes a ton. The decor felt very uncanny valley, back rooms, like very odd. I think they need to work on that side of the property a little bit and make it more cozy. Maybe it's a work in progress or maybe they like it that way, I'm not sure, but it wasn't the sort of vibe that made me want to stick around. Overall great experience though! Will be coming back & hopefully I can get seating in the main shop ;)

This place is hard…read moreto define: it's a bakery, an art space, a vendor marketplace, a podcast recording studio, a bar, a coffee shop, a food truck, a community event center. I came with a friend for dinner and we got food from the food truck, where all of the menu options are 100% plant-based. I got the mojo tacos and for my chosen protein I went with the fried fishless filet. The two tacos came on corn tortillas with pico de gallo, queso fresco, pickled red onion, mojo sauce, and lime. Each bite was so refreshing! The lime gave a citrus kick to the sweet pickled red onions. The fried fishless fish was tender and flaky like real white fish. I was thoroughly impressed with Curia and think it's one of the most unique places in Gainesville. Check it out!
