And also someone who has worked for a top notch 5 star company and 3 and 4 star companies as well.. I have to say this place needs alot of work. First, the rep I dealt with Eli who is a good kid overall hits you with too many of the we are going to do this and that and I can assure you sales rebuttles that most moving companies that don't do these things actually don't do. And while he is again an overall good dude, he hit me a million times about getting on the schedule and doing all he could but the moment the move was finally set, he completely disappeared for the most part as soon as the contract was signed and the move happened. Nobody followed up to check in and see how things went etc etc.. Not one person. That right there is a red flag and when he asked me the difference between a 5 star company and one that is not.. well there you go a fine example. Which leads me to Amelia who is the one who reaches out when confirming moves. Again very nice, but she needs to work on paying attention to specifics as Eli needs to work on as well. They are far from organized. Amelia however, needs to work on understanding and speaking English better and most importantly should actually do what she says she will do. So don't tell me you are going to do this and that when you didn't look into half if it and didn't call me back when you said you were going to either. I have the emails for record. Now to the move. The foreman Ken showed up with 2 guys at our pickup in the Miami area and delivered and unloaded with 1 guy to our destination in the Tampa area. Ken, is experienced and hard working. On day 1 his guys not so much. The one guy was supposedly experienced and worked for Bekins at a point and the other guy who it was his first day had very little energy. Very slow moving, well both of them outside of Ken. Most importantly they did not do what I was told they would from Eli and did not wrap and pack everything. Ken having experience you figured would do this but didn't. I don't know if it was cause he didn't have guys he could depend on or what cause.. My custom made oak record shelves, left untouched. My daughters rocking chair, my hamper, iron board, and a bunch of other things left to have no wrapping or packing at all!! My dining table received the worst blanket job I have ever seen!! No stretch wrap on anything. The legs were left to untreated completely. Thankfully it survived. Thankfully my wife and I and especially and thankfully her packed everything. I can't imagine what our stuff would look like if we got them to do it. Which leads me to the next thing. I was told by Eli and Amelia if we had less stuff on the day of the price would be adjusted. Well it wasn't!! When I said to Ken, that I feel Eli overestimated way too many cubic feet after I decided to move my home recording studio equipment on my own, he said yeah he did. Not a question. Eli said we had 1500 plus cuft which and over estimation is smart so there no surprises. However, when they load and I say Ken what do you think, 1000-1100 cuft (again I was in the business for years) and he says that looks about right. More red flags!!! Okay so less stuff. Where's my price adjustment!!???? Still, Ken did what he promised the next day and got on the road at 4-430am and met us up in Tampa. He had just the new guy with him who was a lot more hardworking on day 2 so I made sure I tipped them both well. They put 90 percent of everything where we asked but overall would I hire them again. Doubtful. My advice. If someone comes by and does an onsite and says its hard to determine everything cause space wise you have so much in the shed. They are not experienced enough just yet and be aware of that. Which leads me to this. Eli, if you had your own company don't broadcast that either cause I can see why it didn't succeed. Which doesn't mean you couldn't be successful at it later but when you tell people these things you give them certain expectations that when the mark is not met you look foolish. Overall, I appreciate the buddy buddy conversation etc etc But this is business. And your company did not meet the mark at all. Quite honestly this is really 2.5 stars but the price keeps you at 3.

On Friday, at 4:30 PM, I get a call asking if they can come in a short while. I stated that, since we had agreed on Saturday, I had already made plans and was not home. "OK, so we'll do it on Saturday. But we can just do it on FaceTime. (??? not even interested in seeing firsthand???) I'll call you between 1 and 2pm, but if you don't hear from me, give me a call." What kind of business asks a potential customer to give them a call if they forget to call you? Needless to say, I never heard from them between 1 and 2pm. However, at 3:30pm I get a phone call and I stated that they were not making a good 1st impression for the reasons cited above. I was going to say, "I'll give you one last chance." However, before making my comment, and rather than apologizing or saying, "OK, let's start again," I was met with, "OK, so you know what, I guess we don't do your move." (With that response, I guess you don't.) There was no attempt to make things right. I was in sales for 20 years. This is not how you treat a potential client. Given their ratings, I had high hopes. However, given this track record, I was left with very little confidence and assurance that they would show up when they said they would and/or honor I their commitments.

Things seemed smooth at first as the crew arrived around 9:30 AM and the majority of my belongings were loaded into the truck within three hours. However, once we arrived at the new house, two of the three movers left without notifying me. I assumed they were working inside the truck while the remaining crew brought items in. I even spent over $80 on lunch for all the movers, only to find out two of them had left for the day after just four hours. That's when the nightmare really began. It took over an hour to get my futon upstairs because they hadn't disassembled it. They even required my help to get it up the stairs during which they damaged my walls and staircase without repairing. I had to move boxes to the correct rooms myself, unwrap shrink-wrapped furniture, and deal with his phone breaks and gas station runs. Despite all this, by 10:30 PM- yes, over 13 hours later-Ruben requested $2,170 in payment, claiming he gave me a "discount" of $20/hour for 8 hours because two movers left early. That still left me paying well over double the original quote. To top it all off, my daughter's bed was still unassembled, my TV was sitting in the box on the floor, and several items hadn't been properly placed or finished. When I voiced my concerns about the lack of communication and unfinished tasks, I was met with a clearly frustrated and dismissive attitude. After a long and exhausting day, I was left feeling taken advantage of and extremely disappointed. I would absolutely not recommend this company to anyone. Since we were not, we were charged a late fee (which we got out of) because of poor communication. The drivers told their boss they communicated with us - it was a lie. Their boss stated that he would look into it. When he called back, he told me directly he didn't do anything more and that nothing could be done. The delivery day was made worse because the movers did not communicate, they lied, and then they didn't repair the relationship. The credit card company denied my dispute because we signed saying it was delivered. I wouldn't recommend them - and here's why. Companies that get away with this behavior (when things don't go well) will do it to anyone. So, most things in our world work out as they are supposed to...but companies that are committed to being the best don't let experiences like mine occur without some sort of "we are really sorry about this, here is what we can do."

During the move two items they boxed, my big screen tv and a Pampered Chef stoneware pan were damaged. The company has yet to pay for the damaged items despite it being stipulated in their contract because the movers (Wesley and another man) re entered my home after they should have been gone, and took money (which movers and company have admitted) from an ex that I was leaving- This is despite the fact they were at MY home and under contract with ME and NO authority was given to them to take direction from him. They destroyed a sofa that belonged to me (caught on a neighbor's ring camera) by moving it outside and dumping it upside down on the curb. The sofa was to stay in my FL home. The moving company have admitted the movers did this, but want to pay $.60/lb that their contract covers for damages during a move to property they are authorized to move, yet they had NO authorization to enter my home or move this piece of property. The only POA signed was for them to speak with my mother in GA. The company refuses to pay for the damages to the property I did authorize them to move because they said they want me to sign a non disclosure agreement about what they did and they won't pay until I agree to do that and accept their offer on the destruction of my non authorized property. This company has been given EVERY chance to make right by their contract and at this point, I just want to make sure no one else has to go through the horrible experience I have, and have for over a year.

They never taped or wrapped the wires to all my electronics and devices to the appliances, so I had to spend hours looking for the wires. They did not unpack me or put-up pictures as they said they would do, and then wanted more money to do that!! I had to pay someone to come in and help me unpack. It was a disaster!
