Even though we signed waivers in advance there was a computer snafu and they had to redo them for our whole party making the check in a fairly long process. In general the communication/ process for getting ready and starting the GoKarting didn't feel super smooth as the passenger but you could tell the staff was organized and knew what they were doing. They were also super flexible when one round they accidentally had child settings on some of our karts and let us redo the round. The go karting was super fun and it was great that we got to do both tracks. Special shout out to manager David. We had dressed up as our dad from various eras for Father's Day and he loved our vibe so much he offered us a free round of virtual darts! When we checked-in a bit early, our room was not ready so they said they would contact us on my cell phone when it was ready.... We were never contacted. I had to call them and was told it was ready. I told them no one ever contacted me as they said they would to let us know when it was ready. They proceeded to tell me we were contacted but we were NOT (I checked my text messages as well as phone calls) and told them so. Wi-Fi was spotty which was frustrating; the bathroom sink AND shower did not drain properly (when you took a shower the bath water was accumulating at your ankles). We told the front desk about this issue via telephone & also when checking-out mentioned it to the manager at the front desk). There was also a small spot of dried blood on the pillow-case which is unacceptable, however, we didn't bother to mention this to staff since they didn't seem concerned about our backed-up shower & sink... so why bother?! We will return to The Riviera down the street and not return to The Red Jacket.
