Dennis gave it a look see and determined just as I thought, that it needed a new mechanism. Sounded like a simple enough fix, which he confirmed, however that new part is super expensive. He suggested if a new clock is available online that's less than the cost of a fix to go that route. A quick Google and bingo, it would be more than half the cost of what that replacement piece would be. He could have not even offered that suggestion, but he's an honest broker. New Owner is listed as: Malik Godwin. Repeated phone calls, text messages and emails to this business went unanswered, until July, 2019 when Bryan Smith stated he was having significant health issues and to have patience which I have had up to now. However, January, 2020 it will be one year later, and I don't have my Grandfather clock movement, repaired or otherwise. It should be noted, the Raleigh BBB website needs to be updated to reflect the ownership change.
