We gave a large deposit for Christmas lights in July. Since 18 Nov we have been told multiple times…read morethat our lights will be hung "tomorrow". It is now 6 Dec and we still don't have the lights. They are now not answering the phone or texts. We have used them for a few years. Communication and reliability has always been subpar but at least we got the services we paid for in years past. At this point we just want our money back. I've had to contact BBB hoping to get the $882 deposit back.

I hired Dylan of Rocket City Lights to do a few landscaping lights , timer switch box and about 30 feet of Bistro lights. I paid 1,000 for the lighting and labor and was supposed to have a two year warranty. Just two weeks after the lighting was installed my Bistro lights went out. I tried multiple times to get of hold to Dylan by texting, phone calls, leaving voicemails and through fb messenger. He still today, a few months later has never got back in touch with me to come out to repair the lights. I finally had to pay and hire someone to come to fix the lights. I was shocked he would never return my calls or text. I just want to say, beware of this company. If you have any outages or issues with the lights, you may have to pay someone else to repair them or do it yourself. I think he could have a good business, but treating customers poorly like he did me can eventually destroy a business.

With his help and my research, we decided on Behr Premium Semi-Transparent Waterproofing Stain and Sealer (It is supposed to last 6 years on horizontal surfaces. Hope it will.) Peter did an unbelievable job prepping the deck by pressure washing. We had a lot of mildew in the shaded areas and he took great care to get it all before sealing the deck. Our HVAC guy came that afternoon and thought we had a new deck. Peter's crew did a great job of the deck, the railings, and the support edges for the deck. Everything is smooth and the deck looks brand new. We have 8X10 rough cut lumber from an old cotton warehouse in Huntsville that is 150 Years old that we used 50 years ago when we built the house for beams and support on our front porch. The lumber really needed lots of TLC and it was lovingly provided to keep this piece of history alive for us.
