Came here for breakfast during the week. Place started off empty with one waitress but quickly filled up as two more servers came to work. I got an egg sandwich and it was really good.

    Neat mug.

A great cafe for breakfast, for sure! My friend is a regular here and was greeted by name. It was my first time at this place and I liked it. Booths and tables are available.

We were in the area and were looking for a place for breakfast that wasn't IHOP. We found this little gem in a strip plaza off the main drag. It's not fancy but the food was great. My eggs Benedict was fantastic. Wife's eggs, bacon and toast were perfect. Our server was pleasant. Like many restaurants, this place uses hand-held devices for placing orders and running credit cards. It makes things more efficient. Easy. We really liked the down-home ambiance and will return.

Came here for a late breakfast and was thoroughly disappointed. I was looking for someplace local and found this place on Yelp with great stars however it was not to be. We sat our selves as there was no one at the hostess stand. Our server brought menus and took our drink order. After reviewing the menu - serving the typical breakfast and lunch items, I ordered the Farmers Omelette and my other half had the usual 2 Eggs over medium, potatoes and toast. Pretty simple breakfast, however after waiting over 30 minutes we still had no food with our server not even checking in on us. I did observe a table receive their order before we did and they arrived after us. My other half was upset with the service and we left before and off our food was served. Note or beverages were water and very surprising was the fact there was sugar free jam available. Not sure if I will return as there are other options in the area.

First Watch understood the assignment…read more Let's start with the Farmhouse Hash because wow. This is not your average "throw some potatoes in a bowl and call it brunch" situation. The potatoes had that perfect golden crisp, the eggs were cooked just right, and every bite somehow managed to be rich, savory, and balanced all at once. It is the kind of dish where you keep taking "one more bite" until suddenly it is gone and you are mildly offended about it. The Barbacoa Chilaquiles came in strong with bold flavor and just the right amount of attitude. Saucy, layered, and satisfying without turning into a soggy mess, which is honestly rare. The Elevated Egg Sandwich lived up to its name. Clean, fresh, and put together in a way that makes you feel like you made a responsible life choice while still enjoying it. Hardwood smoked bacon did what bacon should do. Crispy, flavorful, no complaints. And the Project Sunrise coffee was smooth, easy, and exactly what you want backing up a meal like this. Everything felt intentional, balanced, and actually worth the price. This is the kind of brunch that makes you forget all the mediocre ones. Five stars without hesitation. Just note the quality of food they use, and enjoy.

I…read morehope the cafe takes this feedback to heart because this area really needs a great restaurant and coffee shop, and this spot has so much potential. The location is beautiful--right on the water--with a cozy, inviting interior that makes you want to stay a while. I've been here before, and my first visit left a better impression. The coffee was great that time, and I was excited to return. Unfortunately, my second visit didn't live up to the first. We ordered three coffees: the Snickerdoodle, Honey Bee, and Bean Redeem. All of them were overwhelmingly milk-forward with very little actual coffee flavor. The Snickerdoodle, which was supposed to have cinnamon notes, tasted mostly like vanilla and caramel. The Honey Bee didn't taste quite right, and the Bean Redeem lacked the white chocolate and toffee flavors advertised--it just came across as more vanilla. As for the food, we tried a variety: the biscuits and gravy, Sunrise Supreme, the Classic, and the Reg. Sadly, nothing stood out. The Reg and Classic were okay but lacked seasoning or anything memorable. The biscuits and gravy reminded us of the older McDonald's version--definitely not homemade. The Sunrise Supreme came on mini biscuits that were dry, and the sandwiches overall were just average. A recurring issue we noticed was that a lot of the items seemed prepackaged. The baked goods in the case looked like they came from Sam's Club. If the coffee had been excellent, we could have overlooked that--but with both the drinks and food falling flat, it's hard to justify a return visit right now. That said, I really want to see this place thrive. There's a great opportunity here to make it special: seasonal menus, house-made syrups, stronger flavor profiles in the coffee, and maybe even partnerships with local roasters and bakers. Showcasing fresh, local ingredients and dialing in the coffee recipes could turn this into a true gem. I'll be keeping an eye on this spot and genuinely hope to update this review in the future with a better experience.

We took a sunny drive over to celebrate a major birthday for my darling spouse.....and were FLOORED by the experience and the food...."THE FOOD"! Oh my Goodness!!! More on this shortly..... This Virginia girl (A Florida girl since the 1980's) fell in love with the eclectic decor and table settings that looked like my Momma and Grandma's heirlooms. Vintage prints and paintings. Red vintage bloomers with lace on the hook on the back of the door of the "Ladies' Retiring Room and Necessary" [my terms, to be fair...] Photographs of young belles and their children who arrived later. A decent interval later!!! NOW, the food. Hot, homemade cornbread to the table, and a peach ice tea that is like no other I have enjoyed ANYWHERE in the south. Hubby chose the Texan Chicken Fried steak, with smashed potatoes and greens, and I picked my favorite southern dish (one that I cannot make at home without ruining ~SHRIMP & GRITS!) and it was beyond description. Shrimp almost the size of quail, with perfect spices and texture. Creamy grits with cheese and a few bell peppers for a variety. I never DREAMED of using salt or pepper.....it would have been an affront the the dish itself, My husband's smile told me he loved HIS chosen dish down....that, and all but licking his plate! We have the decadent looking slices of cake her to share later with coffee, but there was no chance we would skip trying them.....but also no chance we could eat them immediately after lunch without exploding! Service was prompt without hovering, and we will be returning either for MY birthday or if we have friends come to visit. HIGHLY AND TOTALLY RECOMMEND FOR A SPECIAL MEAL. The quality makes the prices perfectly acceptable!!
