We first tried the nearby restaurant NYPD and walked out as they could accommodate our needs. We ordered the American Toss and it was big enough for 2. But the dressing was slightly oily, maybe not mixed so well. It did taste good though. We also ordered a GF pizza with half Kala Mata olives and roasted red peppers. I like the olives much better and it was cooked perfectly. The crust was crispy and not soggy as some places under cook it. The service was fast and staff were all so friendly! I think we found a new favorite restaurant. I will get the Grouper sandwich next and we heard their French fries are great too. Can't wait to come back!toppings.

First, the good. We loved our meals. The sauces were delectable. Wife's chicken caprice was fantastic. A cold mug for my beer was classy. I like the interior and enjoyed the soft music from a guitarist and accordion. The bad: Our server was over-the-top pushy. I understand suggestive selling, but come on! I can decide for myself. No need to suggest at every phase of ordering. Also told there were no cannolis ? Really? Friday night 5, and you have no cannolis? Oh well. All in all, a good meal and a fun time.

Called a Grandma slice. Looks heavy but it is light and tasty.

If I could rate this higher than 5 stars than I would. The absolute best salad I've ever had. A heavy looking thick crust pizza was super light. We also got an Italian sub that was fresh and tasty. Loved the ambience although some background music would have been nice. The desserts looked amazing but we will save that for another time.

First things first. The food was good. If it was just about the taste they would have gotten a couple of more stars. I was with a group and we were promptly seated. First thing I noticed when I picked up the menu is that the table was sticky. The room we were seated in was very loud and I had to yell at people seated with me to be heard. My lunch was a sausage, pepper, and onion sandwich. It was tasty but there wasn't very much there. It came on a plate with nothing else. No sauce, no chips, no cole slaw ... nothing. A small sandwich just there by itself. I will say that other dishes, served at my table, looked much more appetizing. One person at my table, who ordered a corned beef sandwich, commented that it was good but there was no mustard. I had heard things about this place and will probably give it another try and will reevaluate.

The ugly piece of carrot cake I paid $6.50 for that was old and who knows what it has been through.

One of the best Italian subs I've ever tried! This is a deli, so everything is made fresh. Also tried the pizza, which was excellent.

The quality of meat and cheese and subtle sweetness of the balsamic glaze mixed with the fresh arugula was out of this world. And the texture of the fresh bread was perfection. The super thin pepperoni on the flatbread were so delicious and the sauce had a subtle sweetness flavor. There were tons of options I can't wait to try again and a bakery case full of treats. They serve breakfast too which looked amazing. We especially enjoyed the vibes on the outdoor sidewalk seating with Italian music playing as we enjoyed our food. Because this spot is in the historic downtown area of Clermont, street parking is your best bet and there is a public parking lot a short walk away. Will be coming back again and again to this great business.

Having said that, the sandwich was still well-made and quite tasty where all the ingredients were fresh and the bread was still warm and appeared to be fresh baked in house. Nice! If I was eating this sandwich by myself, I would've asked for bacon on the sandwich, which definitely would have made it a top shelf turkey sandwich in my opinion. Being an Italian deli, the majority of the sandwiches do use pork of one kind or another where they looked and sounded quite tasty with a number of house specialties on the menu. The next time I am here, I will definitely make sure to order one of their specialty sandwiches to give this business a much fairer assessment and probably the fifth star that I so wanted to give.

After seeing how far it was from me, I didn't think I'd ever get the chance to sample . However, I found myself in a situation where I felt I could make the 30 minute (each way) drive. I was a little disappointed as I pulled into the parking lot got as, the building isn't exactly easy on the eye. But, I didn't let that sway me. Got there at about 12:15pm on a Thursday and saw lots of activity coming and going. There would about 3 or 4 people in front of me and I waited. As I waited, I watched. There didn't seem to be an efficient work flow in the kitchen. A lot of running back and forth instead of having things "right there". This translated into long service times. Got down to just one person in front of me and things stalled even more as there was much talking about this and that. The line behind me grew to about 10 people. If it wasn't so hot outside I believe the line would have gone out the door. I'll admit that I just about gave up as it probably was close to 15 minutes before taking my order. But, I stayed put. Angelo took my order of an Italian Combo and asked if I wanted it "All The Way". Always. However, I understand that "All The Way" means different things to different people but, I'm good to experience it, "however Christina's of Bellevue " sees it. Angelo was quick to clarify, however, that, "All The Way" meant having mayonnaise on the sandwich and, seeing me with my New York Mets hat on, wanted to be sure that's what I wanted or to just have "sub sauce" on it. Any respecting Italian Combo eater knows that putting mayo on this type of sandwich is an absolute travesty, and Angelo picked up on that he was dealing with an expert. Not exactly sure what "sub sauce" is but, let's go with it. Wasn't as long of a wait in the construction of the sandwich as I thought and I paid my cash (only btw) and was out the door for the 30 minute treck to west Ocala. I was happy at the butcher paper and masking tape wrap. I don't know why this matters, it just does! I unwrapped the sandwich and was pleased to see some soggyness. I realize that some people don't appreciate this type of thing but, I usually order by Italian combos with extra vinegar just for the soggyness. A little disappointed in the bread at first glance as it did not contain sesame seeds and was a little soft, soggyness not withstanding. Bread being the number factor in a good sandwich and, clearly the area is challenged in that respect. I dove in. The overall taste was very good. I would suggest to explain that the sandwich contains sweet banana pepper rings. I like that but, would be informative for the buyer to know that the sandwich is coming this way and perhaps give them the choice of hot or sweet pepper rings, or none at all. There was a sweet undertone to the sandwich beyond the sweet pepper rings and, I'm not sure if this was from the "sub sauce". I would make this my main criticism on the overall taste of the Italian combo. Make a "dressing" of extra virgin olive oil, red wine vinegar, salt/pepper/oregano/basil.....maybe a squirt of lemon juice, and that's what should be the "sub sauce". It did have a "store bought" quality to it. Nonetheless, I devoured both halves extremely quickly. Fair price at $11. Give it a try but, bring your patience and cash. Yes, I concur, best I've had in the area!!!!
