If you feel like treating yourself, head over to Lil' Cakes and Creamery! They never disappoint. I've had these cupcakes before during a work party and after tasting their birthday cake cupcake, I knew I had to pay them a visit. As an ice cream and cake lover, walking into this bakery felt like heaven on earth. I was expecting cupcakes and ice cream but was pleasantly surprised to see tres leches and banana pudding as well! I decided to get the caramel frappe cupcake, birthday cake cupcake, and a slice of tres leches. The cupcakes had the perfect amount of sweetness and the perfect amount of frosting. The tres leches cake was also delicious. Although I didn't try the ice cream but it looked very creamy and I will return to see if my assumptions are correct. Another great menu item is their dog treats! Everything about this place was charming and the desserts are delicious.

These are some of the best cupcakes I've had! I really went in for 1, but everything looked amazing and I walked out with 3 . The flavors available ranged from traditional to unique! Customer service was great, she was patient and let me take my time to decide on a flavor. I'll definitely be back to try more.

    Looks great tastes eh.

What a cute place! Lots of selection of cup cakes and macaroons and ice cream. My favorite is the red velvet cup cake. The prices aren't bad. The cute young girl at the counter was super nice.

Im really not a big sweets eater but this day I was in the mood for ice cream. I walked up to a neighboring ice cream spot and as much as I like, love or gotta have their ice cream, what I was not doing this particular day was stand in a long line to prove it. So, I went a little futher and though I would try Lil Cakes and Creamery. Now Ive been there before to purchase cupcakes and was not disappointed so I decided to get a cone. This place was bright, colorful and welcoming. Remember, I'm not a big sweets and treats eater so I asked for a child sized scoop but pay their small size price. Now why didn't I just get an adult small?? This chocolate with brownie bites ice cream in a sugar cone was sooooo good that the inner not so slim girl in me wanted to make a U-turn. I resisted but know I will be returning.

First time visiting. I went first thing in the morning. It was fully stocked. I purchased a variety of cupcakes. The flavor profiles were on point. Flavorful, delicious and moist. I did buy a bday sign, I only wished they sold candles. I picked one up from B&N.

My dogs absolutely love these mini cupcakes. It's a peanut butter flavored treat. The service was excellent, and the pup treats were highly recommended. I loved the art on the wall with the sweet treats. Perfect for a selfie moment.

Our dog Lucy loved the doggy lil' cupcakes!

Our 21 yr old son has been recently seeing a new girl. It must be her influence since he's never brought cupcakes home before! Not only that, he brought our family dog carrot mini cupcakes with peanut butter cream topped with a dog biscuit, too. It takes a girl in his life to be a bit more thoughtful towards his family I guess. Ha! Ha! The box contained 6 cupcakes: better than a Hostess, cookies & cream, lemon crunch, snickerdoodle, melo cream and a smoreo. I'm sorry to say I forgot to take a picture of the full box before digging in with my husband. Our dog, Lucy, loved the doggy lil' cupcake very much. She licked the plate clean! I really enjoyed the moist cupcakes and the creamy frostings definitely. The price is a bit high but compatible to other area bakery shops I would say. I think I will visit the shop myself before giving it 5 stars.

I'm not sure how long this place has been on The Avenue but it's a cute shop right on the strip there's no seating inside. There was a short line but she got to us fast.I love a good cupcake these were the perfect amount of sweet. I am not a fan of icing but the cake is moist with fruit jam inside. They also have cake jars, ice cream, 6-layer ice cream cakes, and milkshake cups. I'm going to try my best to stay away but there are over 10 flavors to choose from.So if you go and get one for me technically it's a gift. Thanks in advance

They look better than they taste :/

My husband and I had a craving for cupcakes so we picked out a few kinds to try. Unfortunately they were just okay. The cake part was pretty moist but the frosting tasted really synthetic. The red velvet didn't have enough cream cheese flavor and was too sweet. The peanut butter chocolate was better but even that frosting didn't have that strong of a peanut butter flavor. I'm also a big fan of when places fill their cakes with a ganache or some other filling, although most don't do that. They really need to work on their frosting game, but we're not in a hurry to get them again.

I always pass by this place and I'm always eyeing the cupcakes a little too hard. So, one night I just decided to walk in and treat myself. I'm so indecisive that I couldn't choose just 1 or 2 flavors... and somehow ended up getting 4 cupcakes LOL. I picked Tiramisu, Strawberry Crumble, Caramel Latté, and Red Velvet. The cupcakes are quite large and the prices reflect that. The 4 came up to $14 something. I didn't realize that most of their cupcakes had fillings or surprises in the middle. My two favorites were Red Velvet and the Tiramisu! The other two were good but I found them too sweet in comparison. The cakes on all of them were moist and fluffy, not too dense. I thought the frosting to cake ratio was perfect, except on the Caramel Latté which had 2-3x more for some reason. I'm happy to have this business on the Avenue now and I can't wait to go back again soon. Hoping to try a chocolate cake based cake next time!

Stopped here on impulse and was not disappointed! I always think you can tell a good spot by how well they do a vanilla cupcake. So often it is forgotten because it's "plain" but they gave it the star treatment there. The Melo-Cream had a moist, light vanilla cake then it was filled with a touch of vanilla melo-cream filling and iced with with a vanilla cream cheese icing, a marshmallow cream drizzle, and graham cracker crumbles! It was so good! A vanilla lovers dream. My husband loved the lemon cupcake with the lemon wafers. The cupcakes were odd tall too! They are pricy but you get a big cupcake. I loved it, great flavors and variety, not too much icing or overly sweet and so moist and fluffy.

They were incredibly thorough with all of their ingredients and allergens. They make everything from scratch, but I was not able to have any of the desserts since they were all made with soy flour, but they went above and beyond, helping me choose a lunch and checking ingredient information for everything. They were so incredibly kind and patient and did not make me feel like a burden at all by asking questions. I ended up going with the grilled ham cheese and tomato sandwich on ciabatta with a cheddar cheese, and they give you a few choices for sides. I went with the orange slices and I also picked up a cup of coffee - their chocolate hazelnut coffee with cream and sugar. They even came back a few minutes later because they saw I had a peanut allergy and just wanted to make sure that hazelnut was safe for me as well. They were so sweet. Every person there was really accommodating and when I first walked in, they were helping a customer choose a cake for their daughter's birthday, which seemed to be taking a while, but they were patient and kind with her as well. This is a family owned operation and they really put their heart and soul and everything. The spot itself is just tucked into a shopping center and the interior is cozy and cute. They have a wide variety of desserts and pastries, along with sandwiches, breakfast options and drinks. Everything smelled and looked amazing. I wish I had been able to try a dessert, and I would absolutely recommend them to anyone in the area that is able to eat their desserts. Their cakes looked so good. I really enjoyed my sandwich. It was so filling and had a really good flavor! The tomato just made the ham pop and the orange slices were really refreshing. I don't usually go with fruit as a side, but I think I need to start doing that more often! Their coffee was really good too. The chocolate hazelnut flavor was not overpowering, but had a nice subtle flavor. I would absolutely be back.

I ordered a Brazilian Yuzuade with Espresso and a Japanese Cold Brew with Oat Milk. Both were great, the Yuzuade was extremely pleasing. I wasn't expecting much from it (citrus and coffee?) but it was my favorite of the two. *Line moves quick. When I arrived, there was a line out the door. I was able to order in a lot less time than it seemed. *Personable service. The Cafe limits the number of guests inside at one time to six. This allowed the staff to focus their energy on only a few people at a time. I ordered the drinks about an hour a part and the person at the register remembered me and struck up a conversation about my earlier order. Despite the five stars, what don't I like? *No vegan baked goods. I will definitely be returning to Cafe Dear Leon because there is ample parking, the prices are good and the drinks are awesome.
